Opis:
The main goals of this paper are an analysis and a simulation of selected basic structures of active EMI filters. The first part contains a presentation of selected structures of active filters, along with categorization by their properties in the field of detection and compensation of EMI noise and by the kind of feedback. Each structure's description is accompanied by an analytical discussion of their properties such as insertion loss (IL) and the impedance increase (ΔZ>sub>n). The second part contains results of simulations of the presented structures, with the aim being a comparison of their characteristics and determining proper operation conditions.

Opis:
In this paper we proposes a synthesis of different mathematical models of power electronic converters based on Thevenin/Norton equivalent circuits. Those models, composed by impedances and harmonic noise sources, are helpful to predict the conducted ElectroMagnetic Interferences (EMI) generated by converters connected to the electrical network. Moreover, the extracted impedances are determining for sizing EMC filters. The proposed analytical model is tested with PSpice simulations and validated by experimental measurements, from DC frequency until 30MHz.

Opis:
Mitigation of electromagnetic inference (EMI) is currently a challenge for scientists and designers in order to cope with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance in switching mode power supply (SMPS) and ensure the reliability of the whole system. Standard filtering techniques: passive and active ones present some insufficiency in terms of performance at high frequencies (HF) because analog components would no longer be controllable and this is mainly due to their parasitic elements. So developing EMI digital filters is very interesting, especially with the embedment of a machine control system on a field programmable gate array (FPGA) chip. In this paper, we present a design of an active digital EMI filter (ADF) to be integrated in a drive train system of an electric vehicle (EV). Hardware design as well as FPGA implementation issues have been presented to prove the efficiency of the developed digital filtering structure.
