In the article the linguistic interpretation of lexemes representing concepts “the good” and “the evil” in the language picture of the world in Russian and Kazakh people has been considered, the national and cultural originality of concrete ethnos have been emphasized. In particular, it has been specified that through moral categories, philosophical, cultural and esthetic concepts of a nationatlity cultural originality of people can be revealed. Purpose: identification of the contents and structure of conceptual opposition “the good – the evil” through the system of their verbal representation means in Russian and Kazakh languages including the analysis of the lexical units representing conceptual opposition “the good – the evil” being the major field for the research. Methods: interpretations of the text, observation, comparison, statistical, component analysis, comparative-historical method. Conclusions: in the suggested work the concept of “good” and “evil” have been considered from two poins of view. On the one hand, they have been seen as mental units showing understanding of words by an individual under the conditions of speech activity. The main concept’s function in this aspect is the replacement function which provides saving time and efforts when perceiving a text. The most important features of the concept in this reference are the degree of its completeness, expansion in comparison with the word meaning; degree of the concept components proximity which are staticized in consciousness of different native speakers in one context. On the other hand, the concept has been considered as a block of collective knowledge (concept) of its national specifics and communication with features of the Russian and Kazakh cultures, history and mentality.

Subject and purpose of work: The subject of the analysis is the concept of rural development in the European Union countries and its connection with the evolution of the common agricultural policy and the transformation of the cohesion policy. The aim of the study is to discover and assess the scale and method of supporting the rural development in the European Union countries through common agricultural policy and to present the underlying theoretical-cognitive and political-practical premises for shaping rural development strategies. Materials and methods: The official documents and subject literature are submitted for critical analysis and evaluation by authors. Results: This paper presents methods of defining and classifying rural areas and rural development through common agricultural policy and cohesion policy. It specifically outlines the concepts of multifunctional and intelligent development linked to the Europe 2020 strategy and the Cork political declarations. The new concept of smart villages and rural-urban partnership is also presented. Conclusion: The processes of rural policy separation and the need for creating national methods of the coordination of community policies and the use of European funds are indicated.
Przedmiot i cel pracy: Przedmiotem analizy jest koncepcja rozwoju obszarów wiejskich w krajach Unii Europejskiej i jej powiązanie z ewolucją wspólnej polityki rolnej i przekształceniem polityki spójności. Celem opracowania jest poznanie i ocena skali i sposobu wspierania rozwoju obszarów wiejskich przez wspólną politykę rolną oraz przedstawienie leżących u podstaw tego wsparcia koncepcji teoretyczno-poznawczych i polityczno-praktycznych przesłanek kształtowania strategii rozwoju obszarów wiejskich. Materiały i metody: Wykorzystano oficjalne dokumenty, literaturę problemu, poddano krytycznej analizie i ocenie autorskiej. Wyniki: W pracy przedstawiono sposoby definiowania i klasyfikacji obszarów wiejskich oraz sposoby wsparcia rozwoju obszarów wiejskich przez wspólną politykę rolną i politykę spójności. Zarysowano szczególnie koncepcje wielofunkcyjnego i inteligentnego rozwoju powiązane ze strategią Europa 2020 oraz politycznymi deklaracjami z Cork. Przedstawiono także nową ideę inteligentnych wsi i partnerstwa wiejsko-miejskiego. Wnioski: Wskazano na procesy wyodrębniania się polityki rozwoju obszarów wiejskich i potrzebę kształtowania racjonalnego jej modelu przez koordynację polityk wspólnotowych i regionalne wykorzystanie funduszy europejskich.

Opis:
Oscar Wilde’s and Morrissey’s lives seem to be full of contradictions. Their art constitutes a reaction against materialism, traditional lifestyle and social standards, as well as defence of individualism and freedom of thought. So far, their works have been analysed only from a very limited perspective of the tension between aesthetics and ethics. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that what prevails in their art is the state of ambivalence and ambiguity in relation to the issues connected with religion and morality, innocence and experience, life and death. This article aims at demonstrating multiplicity of personalities of the artists mentioned and ethical ambivalences of their works. Taken together, Wilde and Morrissey’s creative outputs present a clash between different spheres of life, the divided consciousness and the split between body and soul. Thus, the oscillation between opposite standpoints and values excluding each other is not only the result of the artists’ personal experience but it may symbolise the paradox and absurdity of the human existence as well.

Aggressive behaviour is a menace that has lasting consequences on the victims and the perpetrator, which could result in school avoidance, poor academic performance, dropout, and others. Thus, the study investigated the correlation between self-concept and aggressive behaviour among undergraduate students of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. The stratified random sampling technique was adopted to select 720, with 386 male and 334 female participants. An instrument titled “Self-concept and Aggressive Behaviour Questionnaire (SABQ)” was used to collect data for the study. The instrument was subjected to test-retest reliability, and a value of r=77 was obtained. The research questions were answered using mean summation and average, while the hypotheses were tested with Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation and the t-test statistics. The results revealed a low level of self-concept among respondents; males have a lower self-concept than female undergraduate students. There was a high level of aggressive behaviour among respondents; males have more aggressive behaviour than females. There was significant mean difference between male and female respondents in their self-concept and aggressive behaviour. It was recommended that school guidance counsellors design and implement programmes that could enhance self-concept and reduce aggressive behaviour among undergraduate students of universities.

Trend związany z zastosowaniem w praktyce wartości korporacyjnej pojawił się we wczesnych latach 80., kiedy to powstał nowy model zarządzania organizacją. W tym ujęciu wartość korporacyjna dotyczy pracowników, a nie tylko innowacyjnego sprzętu i technologii, ponieważ ten model opiera się głównie na wydajności pracowników, którzy z kolei mają wpływ na rozwój firmy. Wcześniej model organizacyjny koncentrował się w większym stopniu na zyskach, a dopiero po latach 50. zaczął się skupiać na innowacjach, z uwzględnieniem czynnika ludzkiego, czyli kluczowych pracowników. Niemniej jednak model ten nie mógł ustanowić w organizacji ładu w zakresie obowiązków, wynagrodzeń, a w związku z tym zysków i rozwoju firmy. Celem artykułu była identyfikacja korzyści turkusowego modelu zarządzania oraz istotność pracowników w organizacji i ich potencjał pobudzony przez turkusowy model zarządzania.
The trend related to the application of corporate value in practice appeared in the early 1980s, when a new organizational management model was created. In this concepts, corporate value applies to employees, not just innovative equipment and technology, because this model is based mainly on the productivity of employees who in turn have an impact on the company’s development. Previously, the organizational model focused more heavily on profits, and only after the 1950s began to concentrate on innovation, taking into account the human factor, or key employees. Nevertheless, this model could not establish an order in the organization in terms of obligations, wages and, therefore, profits and development of the company. The aim of the article was to identify the benefits of the model of turquoise management and the significance of employees in the organization and their potential stimulated by the turquoise management model.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie zapatrywań Macieja Kazimierza Sarbiewskiego na wybrane kwestie z zakresu poetyki oraz interpretacja – wzbogacona o inne konteksty (Horacy, Jan Kochanowski) – jego Ody IV. 12 Do Jana Libiniusza. Usprawiedliwienie swej samotności. Rozważania poparte zostały odwołaniami do liryków i traktatów teoretycznych jezuity, cenną podbudowę stanowią ponadto rozprawy dotyczące twórczości sarmackiego Horacjusza autorstwa m.in. Andrzeja Borowskiego, Piotra Urbańskiego czy Elwiry Buszewicz.Artykuł składa się z dwóch zasadniczych części, z których pierwsza poświęcona jest poetyce sformułowanej Sarbiewskiego. Autorka przybliża w niej idee myśliciela dotyczące roli poety, hierarchii sztuk oraz funkcji zabiegu alegoryzacji i jego związku z koncepcją fabulosa theologia. W kolejnej części zwraca się uwagę na obecność motywów ignacjańskich w lirykach jezuity powstałych po 1625 roku. Nawiązania do doktryny zakonu św. Ignacego Loyoli w silnym stopniu naznaczają także tkankę Ody IV. 12, równie istotnymi kontekstami są ponadto topos theatrum mundi oraz dorobek literacki Horacego (zwłaszcza Carm. III. 1). Rozważania zostają zwieńczone tezą o spójności wyłożonych w rozprawach teoretycznych idei z wydźwiękiem „późnych” utworów Sarbiewskiego.
Der Artikel verfolgt das Ziel, die Anschauungen von Matthias Kasimir Sarbiewski über gewählte Fragen der Poetik darzustellen sowie seine Ode IV. 12 An Johann Libinius. Die Entschuldigung der eigenen Einsamkeit in einem vertieften Kontext (Horaz, Jan Kochanowski) zu interpretieren. Die Überlegungen wurden durch Bezüge auf lyrische Dichtung und theoretische Traktate des Jesuiten unterstützt. Eine wertvolle Untermauerung bilden darüber hinaus die Abhandlungen u. a. von Andrzej Borowski, Piotr Urbański oder Elwira Buszewicz über das Schaffen des sarmatischen Horaz. Der Artikel setzt sich aus zwei grundlegenden Teilen, von denen der erste der von Sarbiewski formulierten Poetik gewidmet ist. Die Verfasserin stellt darin die Ideen des Denkers über die Rolle des Dichters, die Hierarchie der Künste, die Funktion des Allegorisierungsverfahrens und seine Beziehung zum Konzept von Theologia fabulosa vor. Im nächsten Teil wird auf die Anwesenheit der ignatianischen Motive in der Dichtung des Jesuiten nach 1625 fokussiert. Verweise auf die Doktrin des Ordens des Heiligen Ignatius Loyola prägen auch im starken Maße das Gefüge der Ode IV. 12, darüber hinaus erweisen sich als genauso wichtige Kontexte das Topos von Theatrum mundi und das literarische Werk von Horaz (besonders Carm. III. 1). Die Überlegungen münden in der These über die Kohärenz der in seinen theoretischen Schriften erläuterten Ideen mit der Aussage der "späteren" Gedichte von Sarbiewski.
The author elaborates on Maciej Kazimierz Sarbiewskiʼs views on poetics and interprets his Ode IV. 12 (The vain theatre of life. To Jan Libiniusz. An excuse for my solitude) with references to works by Horace and Jan Kochanowski. Quoted are Jesuit Sarbiewski’s lyrical works and theoretical treaties as well as essays written about this ‘Polish Horace’ by Polish literary critics. The first part of the article deals with poetics as interpreted by Sarbiewski,  highlighting  the role of a poet and the hierarchy of arts as well as the function of allegorization and its relation to  the idea of fabulosa theologia. The second part takes up Ignatian themes in his lyrical works written after 1625. References to the doctrine of the Society of Jesus are strongly evident in Ode IV.12 and so are those to the concept of “theatrum mundi” and in particular to Horace’s literary works (especially Carmina III.1).  The author concludes that the ideas outlined in Sarbiewski’s theoretical treatises are consistent with his works in later years.

The article tries to provide an answer to whether it is possible and viable to establish a universal criminal law applicable worldwide. The author focuses on the relationship between culture and law. Special attention is devoted to the area of criminal law and the influence of cultural backgrounds in different societies, which makes an impact on controversial topics, and sometimes becomes a subject matter of penal law. The article considers issues linked to philosophy of law and comparative law, seeking answers in various doctrines and worldviews. It contains some reflections about globalization, considering it as a material process related to the evolution of legal orders. In conclusion, the author sets out to describe the evolution that has led to the creation of the existing system of international criminal law, and attempt to predict the future of legal cooperation in criminal matters.

Podstawy koncepcji społecznej to jeden z najważniejszych aktów normatywnych wydanych przez Rosyjski Kościół Prawosławny. Jednogłośne przyjęcie tego dokumentu przez Święty Sobór Biskupów rosyjskiej Cerkwi, który odbył się w dniach 13-16 sierpnia 2000 roku w Moskwie, było nie tylko wydarzeniem o zasięgu lokalnym, lecz znaczącym faktem w skali całego światowego prawosławia. Po raz pierwszy w dziejach jeden z autokefalicznych Kościołów prawosławnych zdecydował się na sformułowanie oficjalnego stanowiska wobec aktualnych kwestii społecznych, gospodarczo-ekonomicznych i kulturowych, a także zdefiniowanie relacji Kościół-państwo w warunkach rzeczywistości historycznej, w której się znalazł na progu trzeciego tysiąclecia. Promulgacja Podstaw koncepcji społecznej stało się potężnym impulsem do odnowy życia duchowego, większego zaangażowania prawosławnego duchowieństwa w życie społeczne, rozwoju instytucjonalnych i pozainstytucjonalnych form misji i ewangelizacji, wielopłaszczyznowego dialogu prawosławia ze światem nauki, polityki i gospodarki. Celem niniejszej publikacji jest zapoznanie polskiego czytelnika z treścią rozdziału dwunastego i trzynastego dokumentu, które odnoszą się do problematyki bioetycznej i ekologicznej. Warto podkreślić, że jest to ich pierwsze tłumaczenie na język polski. Tłumacz wyraża nadzieję, że przyczynią się one do lepszego poznania stanowiska Kościoła prawosławnego wobec kwestii, które obecnie należą do najbardziej dyskutowanych tematów społecznych.
The foundations of the social concept are one of the most important normative acts issued by the Russian Orthodox Church. The unanimous adoption of this document by the Holy Council of Bishops of the Russian Church, which took place on August 13-16, 2000 in Moscow, was not only a local event, but a significant fact on the scale of the entire Orthodox Church worldwide. For the first time in history, one of the autocephalous Orthodox Churches decided to formulate an official position on current social, economic, economic and cultural issues, as well as define the Church-state relationship in the conditions of historical reality in which it found itself at the threshold of the third millennium. The promulgation of the Foundations of the Social Concept has become a powerful impulse for the renewal of spiritual life, greater involvement of the Orthodox clergy in social life, the development of institutional and non-institutional forms of mission and evangelization, and the multidimensional dialogue of Orthodoxy with the world of science, politics and economy. The aim of this publication is to familiarize the Polish reader with the content of chapters twelve and thirteen of the document, which relate to bioethical and ecological issues. It is worth noting that this is their first translation into Polish. The translator hopes that they will contribute to a better understanding of the Orthodox Church’s position on issues that are currently among the most discussed social topics.

Artykuł dotyczy problematyki rozwoju marketingu w Polsce. Autor omawia wpływ procesu prywatyzacji na rozwój marketingu oraz uwarunkowania tego procesu w małych i średnich przedsiębiorstwach. Zwraca uwagę na kwalifikacje menedżerów i załóg jako jedną z największych barier rozwoju orientacji marketingowej przedsiębiorstw. Charakteryzuje uwarunkowania branżowe rozwoju marketingu. Zmiany tych uwarunkowań są, zdaniem autora, trudne do przezwyciężenia z przyczyn społeczno-politycznych i wymagają podjęcia reform w makroskali.
The paper discusses the problems of marketing development in Poland. It presents phases of marketing rules introduction in nature, based on private ownership and free from elements of non market regulations market economy. The author stresses the influence of privatisation on marketing development and conditions for this process in little and small firms. Most important barriers hindering development like managerial and workers' skills are presented. Marketing application is also connected with the sector characteristics. Their change is difficult due to social and political reasons and demand implementation of the reforms in the macroscale.

Na fali rozwoju wymiany handlowej, dynamicznych zmian w preferencjach klientów oraz gospodarki sieciowej tematyka łańcuchów dostaw staje się tematem eksponowanym. Nieustannie podejmowanie są działania zmierzające do usprawniania funkcjonowania łańcuchów dostaw. W artykule na kanwie uwarunkowań otoczenia, oczekiwań klientów i podejmowanych wobec łańcuchów dostaw działań o charakterze wewnętrznym autor przedstawia kierunki rozwoju łańcuchów dostaw. Tematyka usprawnienia funkcjonowania łańcuchów dostaw została osadzona w kontekście koncepcji H. Lee i J. Gattorny. Rozważania zakończono przedstawieniem problematyki łańcucha dostaw w praktyce biznesowej handlu detalicznego.
Due to trade development, dynamic changes in customers preferences and network economy, thematic of supply chain is being emphasized. Constantly actions are undertaken to increase the efficiency of the supply chains. On basis of environment determinants, customers expectations as well as actions of internal nature, the author presented supply chain development directions. Issue concerning the improvement of supply chains functioning was embedded in H. Lee and J. Gattorna context. Considerations are complemented by presentation of supply chain problematic aspects in regard to business practice of retail trade.

Celem tekstu jest ukazanie warunków i możliwości wprowadzenia zmiany w instytucji szkoły. Autorka czyni to w kontekście analiz i komentarzy do myśli twórców teorii krytycznej Theodora Adorno i Maxa Horkheimera oraz filozofów poststrukturalizmu Gilles’a Deleuze i Michela Foucault. Tytułowe „powtórzenie” stanowi o reprodukującej swą tożsamość naturze szkoły, której działania podporządkowane są formule ujednolicania wszystkich elementów procesu edukacyjnego. Procedurę tę, nawiązując do maszynistycznej koncepcji G. Deleuze’a, autorka nazywa „kodowaniem świata”. Podejmując namysł nad zjawiskiem przejmowania pojęć dyskursu pedagogiki krytycznej i sprowadzania ich do wymiarów praktyki i działania, zwraca uwagę na ważne w kontekście postulatu humanizacji polskiej szkoły pojęcie refleksyjności, po to, by wskazać kształt, w jakim może ono zaistnieć w tak konstruowanej formule edukacji.
The aim of the text is to show the conditions and possibilities of introducing a change in the school institution. The writer does it in the context of analyses and comments to the thoughts of the creators of the critical theory – Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer and poststructuralism philosophers’ Gilles Deleuz and Michel Foucault. The “repetition” mentioned in the title constitutes the school nature that reproduces its identity and whose actions undergo the formula of uniforming all elements of the educational process. This procedure, referring to the G. Deleuze’s machine concept, is called by the writer as “coding the world”. Reflecting on the phenomenon of taking over the discourse concepts of critical pedagogy and putting them down to the practice and action dimensions, he pays attention to the concept of reflectivity, important in the context of the postulate of humanising the Polish school of reflectivity in order to indicate a shape in which it could come to the existence in so-designed education formula.
