    Opis:
    W ramach projektu realizowanego przez Dziecięcy Uniwersytet Humanistyczny WSH TWP w Szczecinie wykorzystano multimedialne programy edukacyjne dostosowane do różnych kategorii wiekowych dzieci, które rozwijają procesy poznawcze, kreatywność i twórcze myślenie. Korzystając z nowoczesnej technologii można szybko i skutecznie poszukiwać informacji oraz posiłkować się w procesie uczenia się. W czasie spotkań rozwijano: koncentrację uwagi, koordynację wzrokowo-słuchowo-ruchową, analizę i syntezę wzrokową i słuchową, procesy logicznego myślenia, procesy pamięci, spostrzeganie, różnicowanie, wnioskowanie, umiejętności matematyczne, wyobraźnię. Studenci w przyjaznej i ciepłej atmosferze uczelni zdobywali nie tylko wiedzę w danej specjalności, ale przede wszystkim uczyli się odnajdywać w środowisku akademickim.
    The project carried out by the Children's University for the Humanities WSH TWP in Szczecin, used multimedia educational programs tailored to different age groups of children who develop cognitive processes, creativity and creative thinking. Using modern technology, you can quickly and efficiently search for information and make use of the learning process. During the meetings developed: concentration, perceptual-Hearing-physical, analysis and synthesis of visual and auditory, logical thinking processes, the processes of memory, perception, differentiation, reasoning, math skills, imagination. Students in a friendly and warm atmosphere of the university gained not only knowledge in the specialty, but also learned how to mine the academic environment.

    The article summarizes the experience of laboratory technical subjects teaching methodologies using a number of software products. The main aim is to modernize the teaching process in accordance with the requirements of today – based on information technology. Increasing of the study attractiveness and effectiveness is due to the introduction of Computer Aided (CA) technologies in the learning process. This paper discussed the areas where individual CA system used and concrete examples used in the education process. They are CAD system Catia V5, FluidSIM created and simulates the pneumatics and electropneumatic schemes and circles, software witness used for simulation of material flow planning and RobotStudio that illustrates operated Robot in his own manipulated area. Environment using CA systems are briefly presented in each chapter.

    Phraseological Education of Foreigners
    Opis:
    The article reviews a computer programme called Frazpol which is a teaching aid designed especially for foreigners. The name comes from the phrase “Frazeologia polska” (Polish phraseology). The author begins with some observations on the significance of teaching phraseology of a foreign language. Detailed description of the programme is provided along with an explanation of how its tools can be used in the teaching process.

    Opis:
    Electromagnetic theoretical concepts, which are represented mathematically, are usually challenging to grasp by students. In this study, we explore an interactive technology-based teaching tool to develop further students’ mastery of electromagnetic concepts through learning development and visualization of electromagnetic problems. This visualization of the problems will help students analyse, evaluate, and draw conclusions of the impact of electromagnetic-related problems in real-life. The simulation tool in this study is based on a MATLAB® toolbox package, in which partial-differential equations (PDE) solver is the core engine. In this paper, we will also provide a step-by-step guide on the use of such an interactive computer-aided tool so that it can be a great self-guide tool for beginners in the field of physics and a first-level introductory course in electromagnetism. This study will focus mainly on one classical electrostatic problem that is a challenge to students to visualize, analyze and evaluate. Based on students feedback by the end of the course, 80% of students’ population are more comfortable with the introduced interactive learning tool.

    The article is an attempt to assess the effectiveness of education with the use of information technology. The inspiration for the debate on this issue is published by the IBE report about the digital school. Apart from this important contribution to the discussion is how to use a computer by young people outside of the school for educational purposes.

    In a society increasingly mediated by technology, the medium has created unparalleled opportunities. As a result, it has refocused educators’ attention on how technological literacy is both an essential learning outcome in all higher education programs, and the intermediary, the means to achieve the digital competences expected from employees. In the field of English for Specific Purposes, and at a time when technology is perceived to enable quick and effective access to a vast number of sources of information and knowledge, teaching a language confronts teachers and students with divergent views that converge into what we perceive to be interconnected paths. We critically reflect upon these interconnected paths in order to obtain further insights on how technology, namely Machine Translation and Computer-Aided Translation, is perceived by business communicators who are learning English in an ESP environment. Within the premises that translation is an act of intercultural communication, our case study addresses mirrored perceptions of the English language, the act of translation, and the use of technological tools. Our study draws on both perspectives and discusses how mirrored images of students and teachers converge through project-based approaches, rooted in practical, short visual tasks with a clear and immediately visible purpose.
