Opis:: Spoglądając na problem wspólnotowości podejmuję się próby rozważenia zagadnień go konstruujących, z którymi pojawiają się wątki odnoszące się do nowoczesności i wskazania dotyczące samej edukacji, głównie jej roli w realizacji społecznej spójności i działań na rzecz rozwoju demokracji. Kwestia wspólnotowości nie pozostaje poza zasięgiem idei i wpływów społecznych, kulturowych, wymaga ciągłego rozpoznawania i rozumnego współkreowania. O jej istotności rozstrzyga niewątpliwie podejście do edukacji jako dobra wspólnego. Swoisty rys namysłu nad potrzebą osiągania wspólnotowości, jej potwierdzaniem w edukacji (za sprawą edukacji) stanowi też zachętę do wejścia w problematykę (dez)integracji społecznej, nie przypadkowo wypełnianą wątkami dotyczącymi funkcjonowania określonej wspólnoty-społeczności wiedzy.
Looking at the problem of community, I will try to consider the issues constructing it, as well as indications regarding education; mainly its role in the implementation of social cohesion and activities for the development of democracy. The issue of community does not remain beyond the reach of social and cultural influences. It requires constant recognition and rational co-creation. Its significance is undoubtedly determined by the approach to education as a common good. The peculiarity of reflection on the need to achieve community and its confirmation in education (through education) is also an incentive to enter the problem of social (dis)integration, not accidentally filled with threads referring to the meaning of a specific community – the community of knowledge.

W artykule przedstawiono możliwości wpływu organizacji macierzystej na kształtowanie wspólnot wiedzy za pomocą czynników osobowych i kontekstowych w obszarach: osobowym, interakcji, procesów wiedzy oraz inte-gracji z organizacją macierzystą.
A condition for organizational success is i. a. the ability to create a context in which informal and self-organizing entities like Communities of Knowledge would emerge in order to use them as a tool for knowledge creation and distribution in organization. The paper presents how organization can influ-ence forming and development of knowledge communities using personal and contextual factors in following dimensions: people, interactions, knowledge pro-cesses, and degree of integration with host organization.

Opis:: W ostatnich latach jest widoczna dominacja orientacji społecznej w teorii i praktyce zarządzania wiedzą. Pomimo istniejącej podbudowy teoretycznej, pozwalającej na wyodrębnienie terminów: wspólnota wiedzy, wspólnota działań oraz sieć wiedzy, w literaturze przedmiotu nie ma jasności co do tego, czy są to pojęcia tożsame, czy rozłączne. W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę rozróżnienia powyższych terminów w wymiarze poznawczym i strukturalnym.
In the last few years, the social perspective has become the dominant paradigm in knowledge management studies. Despite the existence of concise theoretical constructs that enable us to identify the concepts of knowledge communities, communities of practice and knowledge networks, there is a lot of definitional misinterpretation in KM-literature and in practice. The aim of this paper is to clear the relevant terminology in epistemological and structural dimension.

Opis:: This auto-ethnographic description of the experiences in the development of the teaching and learning approach, at the postgraduate level, introduces the impact of the community of practice in the development of the learning processes in South Africa, with an international view. The principles of community of practice are outlined and the theoretical grounding is provided in terms of the notion of assemblage theory, the definitions of fundamental and derivative epistemic authority, as well as the assemblage boundary and the personal intents of the community of practice members. The theoretical grounding is then applied through several iterations of the community of practice between 2006 and present. The adaptive nature of the community of practice as an assemblage and the function as a sociology-of-knowledge system are outlined.

Opis:: The present text is an attempt to show the changes taking place in the sub-discipline of sociology of education. The theoretical frame of the discussion includes concepts of Emile Durkheim, Mary Douglas and Stephen Fuchs who emphasize the importance of social conditions for the process of knowledge institutionalization. Analyses carried out in the article aim also at identification of causes of marginalisation of the discussed sub-discipline within sociology as a whole. One of the reasons seems to be identity incohesion resulting from the fact that sociology of education is a shared field of study of both sociology and pedagogy, to mention the two main study contributors.

In network organization knowledge is created in spontaneously emerging relational systems, which consist of various actors. In this situation trust is the necessary condition to initiate the process of knowledge creation and distribution. The paper presents research on structural dimensions of trust in Community of Practice in context of knowledge creation.

Opis:: A systematic approach to occupational safety and health (OSH) management and concepts of knowledge management (KM) have developed independently since the 1990s. Most KM models assume a division of knowledge into explicit and tacit. The role of tacit knowledge is stressed as necessary for higher performance in an enterprise. This article reviews literature on KM applications in OSH. Next, 10 sections of an OSH management system (OSH MS) are identified, in which creating and transferring tacit knowledge contributes significantly to prevention of occupational injuries and diseases. The roles of tacit knowledge in OSH MS are contrasted with those of explicit knowledge, but a lack of a model that would describe this process holistically is pointed out. Finally, examples of methods and tools supporting the use of KM in OSH MS are presented and topics of future research aimed at enhancing KM applications in OSH MS are proposed.
