    Opis:
    The very family is a home church, but it should belong to a larger group in case it needs multi-dimensional aid. The present article presents the founding ideas, unique character and the current condition of family associations in Poland. Such groups are initiated by the families themselves or members of the hierarchy. Yet, they are always a gift of the Holy Spirit, who thus grants them support and the charisma of renewal. Family experts stress that under the influence of family associations positive changes on many planes are taking place, both in the family and in its relationship with the world. It is hard to estimate the number of family associations in Poland as some of them are of informal character, while others are not focused on the family but they have many family elements in their formation programme. Roughly speaking, there are about 130 associations of families or pro-family groups in Poland. The establishment and care of family associations is a significant task of family pastoral care in Poland.

    Opis:
    The release of the apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia revealed the need in the universal Church to accompany spouses in the initial years of marriage. The First Instruction of the Polish Episcopate for the Clergy on Preparation of the Faithful for the Sacrament of Marriage and on Pastoral Care of the Family introduced in Poland in the late sixties highlighted the fact that leaving young spouses alone in the initial stage of their life in marriage is disadvantageous. Therefore, Christian community should gain profound knowledge of the difficulties faced by young spouses in order to provide them with proper aid. St. John Paul II also highlighted the need to accompany young spouses in his apostolic exhortation Familiaris Consortio (cf. FC, 65). Pope Francis, concerned about the irresponsible attitude of fiancés towards contracting sacramental marriage, teaches in his apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia that “the initial years of marriage are a vital and sensitive period during which couples become more aware of the challenges and meaning of married life” (AL, 223). The Pope higlights the greatest opportunity of help in accompanying young spouses after the celebration of the sacrament of marriage. He encourages pastoral workers to assist young couples in order to help them complete the unfinished process of becoming mature in order to face the responsibility to contract sacramental marriage. The author of the article attempts to explain what accompanying is, what issues should be discussed during meetings with the spouses in the initial years of marriage and what subjects should actively participate in assissting young spouses.

    Tekst ten prezentuje wyniki analizy studium przypadków sądowych i medialnych najistotniejszych dla dyskursu publicznego na temat rodzin nieheteroseksualnych ostatniej dekady. Fakt ich zaistnienia, jak również sposób ich przedstawienia i opisywania w dyskursie stanowi przyczynek do analizy przemian w obrazie rodziny w dyskursie publicznym. Świadczy również o przemianach w obrębie strategii emancypacyjnych społeczności nieheteroseksualnych w Polsce. W pierwszej części tekstu autorki prezentują dominujący dyskurs konserwatywny mediów głównego nurtu (re)prezentujący i reprodukujący tradycyjną wizję rodziny. W drugiej zaś odtworzone zostają sposoby, za pomocą których bohaterowie i bohaterki omawianych tu przypadków reagują na próby ich marginalizowania oraz brak rozpoznania charakteru ich relacji w sferze publicznej. Opisane zostają podejmowane przez nich subwersywne i emancypacyjne strategie działania, mające na celu legitymizację ich rodzin. Rozważania zaprezentowane w niniejszym tekście usytuowane są w kontekście socjologii seksualności i płci, codzienności, przemian dyskursu, ruchów społecznych. Wpisują się w analizę przemian rodziny oraz praktyk „wystawiania” własnej rodziny na pokaz, pokazywania własnych relacji jako rodzinnych, szukanie ich uznania w oczach innych (displaying families).
    This article analyses the most significant judicial and media cases about LGBT families in the last decade. Their existence in the mainstream discourse shows the changes in the image of the family in the public sphere, as well as changes within the emancipatory strategies of the LGBT communities in Poland. Firstly, the dominant, conservative and mainstream media discourse is examined; it (re)presents and (re)produces the traditional vision of the family at the heart of a society. Then, authors move to analyse responses to the marginalization and lack of recognition in the public sphere faced by the LGBT families. They propose to read them as wilful and subversive, the emancipatory strategies of legitimization of ‘queer kinship’ in the public sphere. The article is rooted within sociology of gender and sexuality, sociology of family and everyday life, social movements, and transformation discourse. It calls for the attentive analysis of processes of “displaying families” and the social changes of family forms.
