Opis:
This text focuses on an attempt to indicate which communication competences can be developed thanks to the user's involvement in conducting games as part of the "Pokemon Go!" mobile application and what actions taken by the users have the greatest impact on the development of the interpersonal communication. This was done by analysing the possibilities offered by the game, and the results were supplemented by the qualitative data collected through mini focus group interviews (mini-FGI). The participants of the study were asked, among others, about how they communicate with other players, what form of communication with other players they care more about - online or in the real world, what communication skills they gain while playing "Pokemon Go!". The opinion of the users is of great importance because it can be the basis for starting research on the development of communication competences through mobile games using AR technology. On the basis of the results obtained, firstly, the areas with communication potential were identified, and secondly, the areas of interpersonal communication noted and described in qualitative terms by the players were detailed.

Artykuł dotyczy zagadnienia kompetencji międzykulturowych. Stano- wi próbę odpowiedzi na pytania: jakie są podstawy skutecznego przy- swojenia umiejętności z tego zakresu w procesie szkoleniowym oraz jakie są części składowe kompetencji międzykulturowych? W tekście zaproponowany został opis dwóch filarów, podstaw, na których war- to budować kompetencje międzykulturowe w procesie edukacyjnym, czyli opis kompetencji komunikacyjnych oraz kulturowych. Właściwa kolejność zdobywania wiedzy i umiejętności z tego zakresu wzmaga skuteczność i trwałość nabytych kompetencji. Przyswajanie skryptów zachowań typowych dla partykularnych kultur, bez właściwej podbu- dowy w postaci podstawowej wiedzy na temat komunikowania i kul- tury może skutkować w perspektywie długofalowej niepowodzeniami komunikacyjnymi.
This article deals with the issue of intercultural competence. It tries to answer two main questions. First, what are the bases for the effective use of skills in this field in training? Second, what are the components of intercultural competence?The text includes a description of communication and cultural competences. These are the two bases of building intercultural com- petences. The right sequence of acquiring knowledge and skills in this field increases the effectiveness and sustainability of long-term com- munication competences.Adopting behavioral scripts typical of particular cultures, without proper foundation in the form of basic knowledge of communication and culture, may result in long-term communication failures.

Opis:
State security management, like any organisation, requires not only the provision of appropriate forces and resources but also the proper transmission of information and messages. Only the ability to send and receive messages correctly ensures efficient implementation of assigned tasks, their understanding, and execution. For the process of managing them to proceed properly, it is essential to follow the rules of interpersonal communication. In this context, it is necessary to further define the elements of communication competence. They can be divided into five psychological and linguistic components. They are also determinants of proper communication (i.e. correct, appropriate, and at the same time effective). These include having a high level of communication awareness, presenting a high communication culture, active listening, using appropriate feedback, and avoiding communication barriers. The results of research on the communication competences of the surveyed students allow us to draw the conclusion that their level of communication awareness is too low, which is a quite a disturbing phenomenon, because it is the awareness of mistakes made or deficiencies and ignorance in the discussed area that is an essential element of improving communication competence. The multitude of aspects for which communication competences are of great importance is almost unlimited, and therefore emphasing the need for their guided development and improvement is a priority.

Opis:
A lively discussion on cultural differences and the growing need for the development of intercultural communication were the impetus for writing this work. Article includes within its scope examination of the level of intercultural sensitivity of the professional athletes. For the implementation of the main and specific objectives set in the study was based on Intercultural Sensitivity Scale developed by Chen and Starosta. It takes into account five dimensions: interaction engagement, respect for cultural differences, interaction confidence, interaction enjoyment and interaction attentivenes. The collected research material shows that fact of playing in foreign club is significant factor differentiating the level of intercultural sensitivity. The study pointed out the development model of intercultural sensitivity Bennett.
Ożywiona dyskusja na temat różnic kulturowych oraz rosnące potrzeby rozwoju komunikacji międzykulturowej były bodźcem do napisania niniejszej pracy. Artykuł obejmuje swym zakresem badanie poziomu wrażliwości międzykulturowej osób wyczynowo uprawiających sport. Do realizacji celu głównego oraz celów szczegółowych postawionych w pracy wykorzystano Skalę Wrażliwości Międzykulturowej stworzoną przez Chena i Starostę. Uwzględnia ona pięć wymiarów: zaangażowanie w interakcję, szacunek dla różnic kulturowych, pewność w interakcji, przyjemność z interakcji i uwagę w interakcji. Zebrany materiał badawczy wskazuje istotny czynnik różnicując7y poziom wrażliwości międzykulturowej w postaci gry w zagranicznym klubie. W pracy wskazano model rozwoju wrażliwości międzykulturowej Bennetta.

Kompetencje komunikacyjne należą do jednych z kluczowych umiejętności społecznych, które umożliwiają ludziom realizację własnych potrzeb w zgodzie z obowiązującymi normami. Badania dowodzą, że ich rozwój stanowi ważny czynnik zabezpieczający przed angażowaniem się w przestępczość rówieśniczą w okresie adolescencji i odgrywa istotną rolę w prawidłowej adaptacji społecznej. W związku z tym uzasadnione wydaje się prowadzenie na podstawie diagnozy i ewaluacji oddziaływań rozwijających kompetencje komunikacyjne nieletnich, tym bardziej, że większość z nich posiada w tym zakresie duże deficyty. Prezentowany artykuł zawiera wyniki badań ewaluacyjnych, które potwierdzają możliwość skutecznego rozwijania kompetencji komunikacyjnych wychowanków w warunkach resocjalizacji instytucjonalnej.
Communication competences are among key social skills, allowing people to fulfil their own needs in concordance with applicable norms. Research proves that their development constitutes an important factor preventing from engagement in peer crime in the adolescence period and plays a significant role in proper social adaptation. Therefore is seems justified tocarry out activities developing communication competences in minors, based on diagnosis and evaluation, also due to the fact that the majority of them have large deficits in that regard. The article contains the results of evaluation studies confirming the possibility of effective development of communication competences of pupils in institutional social rehabilitation environment.

The article reveals the influence of education informatization on the process of computer engineering educators’ professional becoming. It is substantiated that at present education informatization plays the role of a socio-cultural mechanism influencing the formation of an active, enterprising, and mobile specialist in the field of vocational education. It is established that the growth and complexity of social, economic, and professional information require the computer engineering educator to be able to adapt quickly and effectively to new conditions in the labour market. It actualizes the social need for the purposeful formation in such professionals of information and communication skills implying the achievement of professional self-improvement, self-determination, and self-positioning.
W artykule podkreślono wpływ informatyzacji edukacji na proces przygotowania zawodowego inżynierów-pedagogów o profilu komputerowym. Potwierdzono, że informatyzacja edukacji odgrywa obecnie rolę społeczno-kulturowego mechanizmu wpływu na kształtowanie się aktywnego, pełnego inicjatywy, mobilnego specjalisty w dziedzinie edukacji zawodowej. Ustalono, że wzrost i złożoność informacji społecznej, gospodarczej i zawodowej wymagają od inżyniera-pedagoga o profilu komputerowym umiejętności szybkiej i skutecznej adaptacji do nowych warunków na rynku pracy. Aktualizuje to społeczne zapotrzebowanie na celowe kształtowanie u przyszłych inżynierów-pedagogów o profilu komputerowym kompetencji informacyjno-komunikacyjnych, które zakładają osiągnięcie samodoskonalenia zawodowego, samookreślenia i samopozycjonowania.

Rośnie zainteresowanie programami terapeutycznymi opartymi na teatralnej grze, prowadzonymi w celu złagodzenia objawów ASD, a wraz z nim potrzeba stosowania oddziaływań opartych na dowodach. W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowano projekt teatroterapii skierowany do starszych dzieci z ASD i ich rodziców. Przedstawiono tu założenia, przebieg i opinie uczestników warsztatu teatroterapii, które zostały opisane przy użyciu dosłownych cytatów. Uzyskane obserwacje są obiecujące i wskazują, że dalsze badania ofert teatroterapii dla tej grupy uczestników są uzasadnione oraz mogą przynieść potencjalną poprawę funkcjonowania społeczno-emocjonalnego dzieci z ASD.
There is a growing interest in theater game-based therapeutic programs aimed at alleviating ASD symptoms and, in consequence, the need for evidence-based actions. This article presents a theater therapy project aimed at older children with ASD and their parents. The assumptions, the course and opinions of the participants of the theater therapy workshop were presented and described using direct quotations. The observations obtained are promising and indicate that further studies of theatrical therapy offers for this group of participants are justified and may bring about a potential improvement in the socio-emotional functioning of children with ASD.

Tematyka artykułu skupia się wokół komunikacji językowej dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym i wczesnoszkolnym. Kompetencje językowe definiowane są jako kluczowe w rozwoju, a ich proces nabywania opisuje się w kontekście środowiska edukacyjnego i domowego. Określenie poziomu językowego rozwoju dziecka stanowi ważny obszar diagnozy pedagogicznej. Każdy nauczyciel wczesnej edukacji w codziennej obserwacji (dziecko w sytuacji zadaniowej i zabawowej) i relacji językowej z dzieckiem, staje się świadomym i kompetentnym diagnostą. Doświadczanie codzienności dziecka w sytuacji nauki zdalnej, pozwoliło zaobserwować i zdiagnozować, jak w okresie uczenia się on-line rozwija się język i komunikacja dziecka, manualność i grafomotoryka oraz świadomość pisma.
The subject of the article focuses on the linguistic communication of a child in preschool and early school age. Language competences are defined as key to development and their acquisition process is described in the context of the educational and home environment. Determining the language level of a child's development is an important area of pedagogical diagnosis. Each early education teacher becomes a conscious and competent diagnostician in everyday observation (a child in a task and play situation) and in the linguistic relationship with the child. Experiencing the everyday life of a child in a remote learning situation allowed to observe and diagnose how the child's language and communication, dexterity and graphomotor skills, as well as awareness of the handwriting develop in the period of on-line learning.

The main purpose of Helena Barbara Balcerek’s article is to present an original project aimed at the amplification of both the language potential (communication competences) and the literary-cultural potential of sixth-grade primary-school students. The project’s method consists in problem-based learning which integrates literary-cultural content-oriented teaching and language education (including rhetoric) with educational and prosocial processes. Reflections yielded by an in-depth analysis and interpretation of texts used in the project as well as discussions concerning the problem of human values and needs lead, as it turned out during the project’s execution, to ecological issues and climate challenges facing the contemporary world. A large group of students have come up with practical ideas as to the use of available resources as means to resolve the climate crisis and to undertake pro-ecological actions.

The article focuses on intercultural communication, which creates a passage from a multicultural environment towards social integration and intercultural relations. The author introduces the topic by short characteristics of changes in the modern world, determined by social mobility and multiculturalism. The article presents then some chosen aspects of social integration of migrants seen as bilateral process which requires the development of intercultural competences of both migrants’ and the receiving community. The author further describes intercultural communication and stresses its importance for education and social development. Finally, some factors conditioning the acquisition of intercultural competence with reference to Gordon Allport’s contact hypothesis and informational influences are presented along with highlighting the importance of empathy.

The following article presented thoughts related to the importance of the business leaders’ competences in the time of a crisis. An emphasis was placed on the role of emotional intelligence, determining the ability to competently manage an enterprise in uncertain times. Furthermore, the author presented the notion of communication and its role in the time of the crisis.

Intercultural research in the area of communication was initiated in the early 20th century. Over the last few decades, researchers have built a solid theoretical basis in this field. Nowadays, intercultural analyses include a rich collection of texts on cross-cultural differences, the specificity of the phenomenon in the area of verbal and non-verbal communication and also the role of the media. There is no doubt that in an era of dynamic transformations of media use by people all over the world, the sub-discipline of intercultural communication is facing another challenge – that of including social media and network communication processes into new empirical theories and research. The article answers the question of the status of communication research in the field of the intercultural contexts of the new media. Opis:
Purpose – to analyze the impact of intercultural communication on the professional innovative activity, to assess the possibility of developing of the professional competencies to innovative activity through intercultural communication. Methods: hypothetical-deductive method, formalization, generalization, classification, systematization, extrapolation. Results. The bilateral relationship between intercultural communication and innovative activity is grounded. A person, who is more capable of cross-cultural communication, is more capable of innovative activity too, he / she is more opened, flexible, adaptive and creative. It is therefore important to develop, in the professional training of future specialists, the intercultural competence - the ability to cross-cultural contacts: to teach them to recognize cultural diversity not as an obstacle but as a positive diversity, as a source of new potentially useful information. For future professionals of innovative activity, it’s even more important than for others. The process of innovations’ working out often deals with problems of creating something new, of forming of new ideas. And any variety can help, because another person is a treasure trove of new points of view. Intercultural communication can be a source of new ideas, new knowledge and skills, new professional competences, as well as a new channel to promote an innovative product to different target groups.
