    Opis:
    A new technique to enhance single-stage operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) is presented. Enhanced DC gain and reduced input parasitic capacitances are achieved by employing two input fully-differential voltage combiners, i.e. a combination of transistors in common-drain and common-source configurations operating as a preamplifier stage. Simulation results show that the input capacitance can be as small as 195 fF (corresponding to a 46 % reduction) while achieving a GBW of 1982 MHZ (@ CL = 1 pF) with a PM of about 60⁰. The complete amplifier dissipates only 1.78 mW corresponding to a figure-of-merit (FoM) of 1115 MHz-pF/mW.

    Opis:
    Bernard Lonergan SJ (1904-1984), the most famous English exponent of transcendental thomism („the American Rahner”), attached greater and greater importance, particularly after his existential turn, to religious experience. For him, the most significant form of this experience is being-in-love-with-God as basic, proper fulfillment of man's unrestricted thrust of self--transcendence in the direction of being, truth and value. It is experience of self-actualization, of complete integration, of complete fulfillment, it is a dynamic state of love in an unrestricted fashion, without qualifications or conditions or reservations or limits. This experience cannot be man's achievement, it is always granted to us as a gift, it is in principle independent of knowledge, we can only receive it, accept it when it comes quietly, secretly, unobtrusively. It is the core and focus of religious life, for Christians it is experience of God's grace; however the analysis of the main common features of religious experience in all highly developed religions demonstrates that, in point of fact, it is often a very similar experience, it is often the same experience. Religions have then a common origin, common essential realm. Of course, the understanding and interpreting of this experience depend always on the horizons of meaning in which it occurs and these horizons are as varied as the concrete, historically conditioned human cultures, human religious traditions, human temperaments, human lives are. Due to them, this one primordial experience manifests itself in countless ways, in countless religious expressions, but in spite of that it remains the real root and ground of the unity of all religions, it remains the basis for dialogue between them.

    Today, waste is a raw material and energy source that can be recovered. The economic value of waste results in forming informal groups of pickers appropriating material waste in developing countries. These types of situations are analysed in the literature. Using Ostrom's social-ecological system analytical framework (SES), the authors show that municipal waste in developing countries can be treated as a common good (CPR). This paper aims to answer whether municipal waste in developed countries can be treated this way, although informal collectors' activities are marginal here. The analysis also uses the analytical scheme of Ostrom’s SES. However, due to the different organisa-tions of the waste management system in developed countries, the individual elements of the scheme were defined differently than in the literature. This resulted in a different schema of municipal waste as a common good. This approach allows the schema to be applied locally and broadly to all types of municipal waste, not just material waste.
    Współcześnie odpady są źródłem zasobów surowcowych i energetycznych, które mogą być odzyskane. Ta ekonomiczna wartość odpadów powoduje, że w krajach rozwijających się, tworzą się nieformalne grupy zbieraczy przywłaszczających odpady surowcowe. Tego rodzaju sytuacje są opisywane w literaturze. Stosując ramy analityczne SES Ostrom, autorzy wskazują, że odpady komunalne w krajach rozwijających się mogą być traktowane jak dobro wspólne (CPR).Celem tego artykułu jest odpowiedź na pytanie czy również odpady komunalne w krajach rozwiniętych, mogą być tak traktowane, choć tutaj działania nieformalnych zbieraczy są marginalne. W analizie również zastosowano schemat analityczny SES Ostrom. Jednak ze względu na inną organizację systemu gospodarki odpadami w krajach rozwiniętych, inaczej niż w literaturze, określono poszczególne elementy schematu. Dzięki temu powstał inny schemat odpadów komunalnych jako dóbr wspólnych. Takie podejście pozwala na zastosowanie tego schematu zarówno w skali lokalnej, jak i szerszej oraz w odniesieniu do wszystkich rodzajów odpadów komunalnych, a nie tylko materiałowych.

    Opis:
    In this paper we proposes a synthesis of different mathematical models of power electronic converters based on Thevenin/Norton equivalent circuits. Those models, composed by impedances and harmonic noise sources, are helpful to predict the conducted ElectroMagnetic Interferences (EMI) generated by converters connected to the electrical network. Moreover, the extracted impedances are determining for sizing EMC filters. The proposed analytical model is tested with PSpice simulations and validated by experimental measurements, from DC frequency until 30MHz.

    Opis:
    The article concerns integration and disambiguation of data related to the maritime domain. A developed system is described, which collects and merges data about several maritime-related entities (vessels, vessel types, ports, companies etc.) retrieved from different internet sources and feeds the data into a single database. This process is however not trivial. There are few challenges, which need to be faced to successfully conduct it. Firstly, in different sources, entities may be referenced to in different ways, for example, by using different text strings. Additionally, some of these references may be ambiguous, i.e. potentially the reference may point to more than one entity. To enable efficient analysis of data coming from different sources, such ambiguities must be resolved automatically as a preprocessing step, before the data is uploaded to the database and utilized in further computations. The aim of the disambiguation process is to assign artificial, unique identifiers to each entity and then, if possible, automatically assign these identifiers to each data item related to a given entity. In the article, developed methods for resolving such ambiguities are discussed and their evaluation is presented.
