Opracowanie zawiera analizę struktury organizacyjno-prawnej gospodarek wybranych państw. Jest to przegląd porównawczy sporządzony w oparciu o dostępne informacje oraz źródła
prawa, prezentujący kwestie związane z organizacją funkcjonowania zrzeszeń korporacyjnych i branżowych przedsiębiorców. Z racji obszerności zagadnienia zastrzega się, iż niniejszy tekst ma charakter kompilacyjny, zbiorczo traktujący informacje ze źródeł powszechnie dostępnych. Nie uwzględnia on niektórych szczegółowych regulacji prawnych obowiązujących w konkretnych państwach, względnie rozwiązań stosowanych w wybranych modelach organizacyjnych izb branżowych. W szczególności skoncentrowano się na sektorze zbrojeniowym, rozpatrywanym z perspektywy całości gospodarki, w odniesieniu do przyjętych modeli (prywatno i publiczno-prawnych, korporacyjnych) oraz zgodności z normami międzynarodowymi.
The first official structure integrating business was founded in 1599 in Marseilles. The oldest British association – The Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, was founded in 1783. The first ones in North America, both – Chamber Jersey and New York City Chamber - were established in 1768. Currently, the largest chamber - Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry - associates 800 000 companies, although some trade organizations in China integrates more than one million members. Considering the spatial influence chambers are divided into sectorial (community), regional/ municipal, national and international. The division of the chambers due to legal ownership (private, state and mixed) is also important. There are countries where affiliation of the chamber is mandatory, and states where voluntary integration predominates. The first occurs in the continental Europe and Japan, while the second model is characteristic to AngloSaxon countries (common law): USA, UK, Canada, but also to the Scandinavian countries. There are also chambers provided with the power of public law. National chambers are associated at the national level and at the international level, for example in Eurochambers, World Chambers Federation, International Chamber of Commerce (as multilateral chambers). Bilateral chambers always operate on the basis of national law of the member affiliated. For example, in Germany defense industry companies are associated both within the Federal Association of German Industry (BDI), land Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IHT) and the Federal Association of German Defence Industry (Bundesverband der Deutschen und SicherheitsVerteidigungsindustrie, BDSV), which includes leading companies in relevant sector (Rheinmetall, Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, Diehl, ThyssenKrupp Lürssen). An important type of chambers are these representing particular industrial (business) sector – for example, metallurgical industry in Europe is integrated in both the national chambers, as well as within the framework of international associations: The World Steel Association, Eurofer, or ESTA. - Źródło:
