Opis:
There is a vast scientific literature on psychiatric pathologies but research on the sexual problems that secondarily accompany them is still lacking. Among the few issues which in this area still manage to overcome an evident generalized resistance of patients to treating the subject and which can be the purpose of further study, beyond the sexual dysfunctions caused by drugs and the greater risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) we have focused in our bibliographical research on problematic sexual behaviors (PSBs). In particular, we have examined PSBs that complicate axis 2 disorders, usually the field of dynamic psychotherapy, while with reference to axis 1 only those present in bipolar disorder, because of the fact that this last, in its “ultra-rapid” cycles, is located by some authors in the symptom spectrum of borderline personality disorders. Lastly, our in-depth analysis, with the exclusion of paraphilic disorders already nosologically well classified in the DSM-5 with code F65, focused on the still poorly defined legal implications of PSBs secondary to personality disorders (PDs), with the purpose of contributing to a greater consideration of the argument in favor of adequate legal protection of patients and health professionals involved in this particular aspect of psycho-behavioral pathologies.

Investment casting is very well-known manufacturing process for producing relatively thin and multifarious industrial components with high dimensional tolerances as well as admirable surface finish. Investment casting process is further comprised of sub-processes including pattern making, shell making, dewaxing, shell backing, melting and pouring. These sub-processes are usually followed by heat treatment, finishing as well as testing & measurement of castings. Investment castings are employed in many industrial sectors including aerospace, automobile, bio-medical, chemical, defense, etc. Overall market size of investment castings in world is nearly 12.15 billion USD and growing at a rate of 2.8% every year. India is among the top five investment casting producer in the world, and produces nearly 4% (considering value of castings) of global market. Rajkot (home town of authors) is one of largest clusters of investment casting in India, and has nearly 175 investment casting foundries that is almost 30% of investment casting foundries of India. An industrial survey of nearly 25% of investment casting foundries of Rajkot cluster has been conducted in the year 2019-20 in order to get better insight related to 5 Cs (Capacity; Capability; Competency; Concerns; Challenges) of investment casting foundries located in the cluster. Specific set of questionnaires was design for the survey to address 5 Cs of investment casting foundries of Rajkot cluster, and their inputs were recorded during the in-person survey. The industrial survey yielded in providing better insight related to 5 Cs of foundries in Rajkot cluster. It will also help investment casting producer to identify the capabilities and quality issues as well as leads to benchmarking respective foundry.

The research aims at exploring western Ukrainian cross-border regions where many natural recreational resources, historical, cultural and architectural monuments, a developed transport infrastructure, strong ethnic ties and wide opportunities for tourism flows from the cross-border regions of neighboring countries are found. To achieve this goal, the authors studied foreign experience, in particular the processes of the creation and operation of clusters in Romania and Poland which helped to identify certain stages of development of tourism destinations based on a cluster approach. Comparison of the activities of already established tourism clusters in Ukraine and abroad has helped to establish a list of major business structures that might become a part of a cluster and be involved in the formation of a tourism destination. Based on an analysis of natural and recreational potential, and cultural and historical heritage in western Ukrainian cross-border regions, possible profiles of tourism destinations, and the interest of tourist and other enterprises to be brought together into tourism clusters, are determined, and this has been confirmed by a survey

Opis:
The interrelation between fuzzy logic and cluster renewal approaches for heat transfer modeling in a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) has been established based on a local furnace data. The furnace data have been measured in a 1296 t/h CFB boiler with low level of flue gas recirculation. In the present study, the bed temperature and suspension density were treated as experimental variables along the furnace height. The measured bed temperature and suspension density were varied in the range of 1131–1156 K and 1.93–6.32 kg/m3, respectively. Using the heat transfer coefficient for commercial CFB combustor, two empirical heat transfer correlation were developed in terms of important operating parameters including bed temperature and also suspension density. The fuzzy logic results were found to be in good agreement with the corresponding experimental heat transfer data obtained based on cluster renewal approach. The predicted bed-to-wall heat transfer coefficient covered a range of 109–241 W/(m2K) and 111–240 W/(m2), for fuzzy logic and cluster renewal approach respectively. The divergence in calculated heat flux recovery along the furnace height between fuzzy logic and cluster renewal approach did not exceeded ±2%.

An important role in an organization is played by the management information system that enables managers to perform management tasks. The pillar of this system is financial and non-financial data provided by the management accounting system. The effect of the application of specific management accounting tools are various types of studies and analyses, defined in internal reports, which are the basis for management, and thus making decisions by managers. Internal reports, in order to fulfil their functions effectively, must have appropriate features as to its structure, content and other properties. In connection with this, the authors studied and presented an assessment of managers from Poland and Romania in the context of such properties of internal reports as quality, content, presentation and comments. The survey method was used as the research method, while the analysis of collected research material was based on cluster analysis and descriptive statistics. The sample consisted of 154 questionnaires. The findings are similar in both countries, although in the case of Romania, managers who assessed highly the quality and content of internal reports, and evaluated slightly lower the presentations and comments.

The putative hybrid character of two Tilia varieties selected as avenue trees (‘Szent Istvan’ and‘K3’) should be clarified for further breeding activities. Their ancestor species should be identified by a genetic comparison with reference material (Tilia cordata, T. platyphyllos, T. dasystyla, T. × euchlora, T. × europaea and others). RAPD marker data were evaluated by UPGMA cluster and neighbour-joining analysis. The genetic comparison of the two selected clones with the collection of reference material offers insights into some systematic relationships within the genus Tilia. It was supplemented by a critical discussion of methods of RAPD data evaluation for taxonomic purposes.

The paper studies a cooperative game, which is being played among the firms, involved in furniture industries, belonging to the same cluster. Due to the increased competition at the local and global levels, cooperation among the business entities is practically the only way to survive in the cluster. Consequently, a cooperative game model is proposed for the firms, associated in a vertical channel, where its performance indices are measured by one of its indicators of competitiveness at an entrepreneurial level versus the value of the cluster itself. As a case study, a competitive value analysis is done for the Colombian furniture cluster by indicating the characteristics and existing conditions of the cluster in the department of Atlantico in Colombia. Moreover, this paper analyzes and establishes an optimal feasible solution of cooperative game among the principal firms using Shapley value method.

Fuzzy clustering plays an important role in intelligent systems design and the respective methods constitute a part of the areas of automation and robotics. This paper describes a modification of a direct algorithm of possibilistic clustering that takes into account the information coming from the labeled objects. The clustering method based on the concept of allotment among fuzzy clusters is the basis of the new algorithm. The paper provides the description of basic ideas of the method and the plan of the basic version of a direct possibilistic-clustering algorithm. A plan of modification of the direct possibilistic-clustering algorithm in the presence of information from labeled objects is proposed. An illustrative example of the method's application to the Sneath and Sokal's two-dimensional data in comparison with the Gaussian-clustering method is carried out. Preliminary conclusions are formulated.

Opis:
Discrete cluster microforms, or simply clusters, in gravel streams result from organization of particles found in the surface layer of the gravel bed into disconnected patches. Clusters are the outcome of feedback interaction between flow, sediment and stream planform geometry. The complexity of this interaction results in several different cluster shapes, i.e. line, rhomboid and triangular. The objective of this research is to provide a quantitative characterization of cluster shape. To achieve this, we employed a novel method based on fractal theory and used for the shape description of clusters. Our novel method utilized the cell-counting method for the estimation of the areal fractal dimension, for two major datasets, namely fabricated clusters with well-defined shapes, and clusters developed in the laboratory. The principal finding of this research is that the proposed method successfully characterized cluster shape in quantitative terms. Specifically, it was shown that the new approach could identify clusters of different shapes 84% of the time, under different arrangements. This finding is of great importance for bed pattern recognition studies of stream reaches with superimposed roughness elements such as clusters. The findings of the current work could also assist numerical modellers in the development of more representative models of flows over roughness features such as clusters and in the interpretation of results from such models.

Opis:
Genetic algorithms represent an up-to-date method of process optimization, where other solutions have failed or haven't given any satisfactory results. One of these processes is puzzle solving, where fragments have to be placed into the defined shape in such a way so that no fragment should mutually overlay and the whole shape area will be filled with all of these fragments. A genetic algorithm solving this task including an exact formulation and a definition of the initial conditions based on cluster analysis has been described in this paper. The algorithm efficiency will be tested in diploma works in Institute of Geodesy, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Technology, Brno. The results will be used in the application for cartograms creation.

The paper deals with a simulation study of one of the well-known hierarchical cluster analysis methods applied to classifying the statistical populations. In particular, the problem of clustering the univariate normal populations is studied. Two measures of the distance between statistical populations are considered: the Mahalanobis distance measure which is defined for normally distributed populations under assumption that the covariance matrices are equal and the Kullback-Leibler divergence (the so called Generalized Mahalanobis Distance) the use of which is extended on populations of any distribution. The simulation study is concerned with the set of 15 univariate normal populations, variances of which are chanched during successive steps. The aim is to study robustness of the nearest neighbour method to departure from the variance equality assumption when the Mahalanobis distance formula is applied. The differences between two cluster families, obtained for the same set of populations but with the different distance matrices applied, are studied. The distance between both final cluster sets is measured by means of the Marczewski-Steinhaus distance.

In order to scientifically support the process of forming rural tourism clusters in Ukraine it is important to develop both universal and end-use applied models relating to clusters of the type “the village rest” as well as rural tourism type. They are classified as follows: by the aim – as conceptual and applied ones, by structural peculiarities – as structural (institutional), structural-functional and factor (determinant). A multilevel universal model of the rural tourism cluster with basic structural levels: base, partner and accompanying ones is offered for research and practice. This model was approbated for two cluster initiatives in the Carpathian (a cluster of rural tourism “Boykivski Gazdy”) and Nadsiannia (a cluster Goat farm of “Fromages of d’Elise”) regions. Possibilities to use different types of research models in order to introduce cluster initiatives of the rural tourism in Ukraine on the regional and local levels are investigated.
