Opis:
This article provides a cluster analysis of existing technoparks, the sample of which was built according to the completeness of the data presented on the official websites of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the terms of operation. The analysis is carried out in order to determine the best components of the effectiveness of the development of the technopark movement in Russia. According to the analysis of this article, we can talk about a weak relationship between the three sub-indices: the activities of the management company, the activities of residents, the activities of regional authorities. The obtained data can serve as a starting base for further construction of an econometric model of the efficiency factors of technoparks.

Opis:
This article describes cluster model of gaseous materials and prospects of using the model. Equations set for the calculation of different sizes clusters concentrations are presented. The authors produce numerical solution of the equation set. Results of the numerical solution are compared with the results that derived from analytical solution.
Ten artykuł zawiera opis modelu klastrowego materiałów gazowych i analiza perspektywy jego zastosowania. Przedstawiono układ równań do obliczania koncentracji klastrów różnych rozmiarów. Autorzy przedstawiają rozwiązanie numeryczne danego układu. Wyniki rozwiązania numerycznego są porównane z wynikami otrzymanymi metodami analitycznymi.

Entry of the Czech Republic into the European Union (EU) means an expressive expansion of space for European integrated logistics development and application. Basically logistics changes are necessary if the companies and also state in the Czech Republic do not want to be an outsider on the European market. Logistics is one of the important points of enterprise within a cluster. Cooperation of cluster members on the field of logistics for involved companies means a substantial advantage which companies will gain against their competitors not only on the native but also on the foreign markets. Conclusions of the research of mathematical model for logistic control in an industrial cluster are the critical points of this paper. This mathematical model shows the main logistic advantages for cluster members.

This paper shows an example of the grouping of piezocone penetration test (CPTU) characteristics using functional data analysis, together with the results of clustering, in the form of a subsoil rigidity model. The subsoil rigidity model was constructed based on layer separation using the proposed method, as well as the k-means method. In the construction of the subsoil rigidity model, the constrained modulus M was applied. These moduli were determined from empirical relationships for overconsolidated and normally consolidated soils from Poland based on cone tip resistance.

The article describes the newly developed innovative methods that allow monitoring the dynamic processes occurring in the city and evaluating it as an open, complex and dynamic system. Based on these methods, an information accumulative interactive model of analysis of functioning and development of the city was developed. In order to scientifically support the process of forming rural tourism clusters in Ukraine it is important to develop both universal and end-use applied models relating to clusters of the type “the village rest” as well as rural tourism type. They are classified as follows: by the aim – as conceptual and applied ones, by structural peculiarities – as structural (institutional), structural-functional and factor (determinant). A multilevel universal model of the rural tourism cluster with basic structural levels: base, partner and accompanying ones is offered for research and practice. This model was approbated for two cluster initiatives in the Carpathian (a cluster of rural tourism “Boykivski Gazdy”) and Nadsiannia (a cluster Goat farm of “Fromages of d’Elise”) regions. Possibilities to use different types of research models in order to introduce cluster initiatives of the rural tourism in Ukraine on the regional and local levels are investigated.

We solve the manufacturing problem of identifying the model statistical parameters ensuring a satisfactory quality of analog circuits produced in a photolithographic process. We formalize it in a statistical framework as the problem of inverting the mapping from the population of the circuit model parameters to the population of the performances. Both parameters and performances are random. From a sample of the latter population we want to identify the statistical features of the former that produce a performance distribution complying with production samples. The key artifact of the solution method we propose consists of describing the above mapping in terms of a mixture of granular functions, where each is responsible for a fuzzy set within the input-output space, hence for a cluster therein. The way of synthesizing the whole space as a mixture of these clusters is learnt directly from the examples. As a result, we have an analytical form of the mapping that approximates complex Spice models in terms of polynomials in the model parameters, and an implicit expression of the distribution law of the induced performances that allows a relatively quick and easy management of the model distribution statistical parameters. This flows into a semiautomatic procedure managing an adaptive composition of different granular modules to cope with the circuit peculiarities. We check the method both on real world manufacturing problems and on ad hoc benchmarks.

This article was aimed to analyse the working condition of the coupling mechanism in Chinese shipbuilding industry cluster. Literature review was conducted to unveil the coupling mechanism of shipbuilding industry cluster, providing analysis of the present development of shipbuilding industry. A theoretical model was proposed by using the efficacy function and the capacity of the coupling coefficient while measuring the coupling of the shipbuilding industry cluster. Four coupling characteristics were found including relevant, systemic, diversity, and collaborative in the shipbuilding industry cluster. The shipbuilding industry cluster has two levels of coupling mechanism including the core layer coupling mechanism and the support layer coupling mechanism respectively. The improvement through coupling the core layer, support layer, and the coupling between two levels, is an effective way to achieve long-term stable development in Chinese shipbuilding industry cluster.

Marine economy is a new economic form, emphasizing new development concept, new operation mechanism and management mode. In recent years, marine economy shows rapid growth, and marine industry presents a clustering development trend. The industrial linkage effect, industrial agglomeration effect and industrial radiation effect of the marine industrial cluster are important motive forces for the development of coastal cities. The marine industrial cluster takes coastal cities as the development platform and space, while the coastal cities achieve rapid and sustainable development based on the marine industrial cluster. The synergetic and coupling development of the marine industrial cluster and coastal cities is an important way for the promotion of industrial competitiveness and urban competitiveness. This paper developed a measure to identify the marine industrial cluster, designed the evaluation index of coupling of marine industrial cluster and coastal cities development from two perspectives of industrial linkage and spatial agglomeration, taking Shandong province, a typical coastal province in China, as an example, it studied the situation of the marine industrial cluster based on input-output data and data of marine enterprises of coastal cities, based on which it explored the coupling relationship between marine industrial cluster and coastal cities of Shandong province.

Objective:To obtain a case definition and to describe variables associated with a cluster of unspecific symptoms in healthcare workers (HCW) in a hospital building. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed. All people working at the Residencia Cantabria building (a 200-bed building belonging to University Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla) in June 2009 were invited to complete a self-administered questionnaire, including questions on demographic data, working place and shift, working conditions and current symptoms. A cluster analysis was developed to obtain the case definition. The strength of the association between the studied variables and accomplishing the case definition was measured using odds ratios (OR) with the 95% confidence interval (CI). Multiple logistic regression was used to obtain a predictive model; its general validity was estimated with Receiver Operating Curves (ROC) and their Area Under the Curve (AUC). Results: 357 completed questionnaires were obtained. The case was defined as having at least 5 symptoms out of the eleven included. Not being ascribed to a specific shift was the strongest protective variable related with "being a case" (OR = 0.30; 95% CI: 0.17-0.54), whereas the personal antecedent of distal pain or inflammation in arms or legs was the main risk factor (OR = 4.33, 95% CI: 2.75-6.82). A six-variable predictive model has AUC equaling to 0.7378. Conclusions: A disease associated with the indoor environment quality in a hospital was characterized. A multivariate score was drafted for identifying HCW with higher risk of developing the disease in order to apply administrative prevention measures.

In the past, the density-gradient term of second-order macroscopic models was replaced with a speed-gradient term to rectify the rearward movement of traffic waves. Hither, a classical speed-gradient macroscopic model is extended to account for the lateral flow dynamics on a multi-lane road. The anisotropic model is modified to capture some inherent vehicular multi-lane traffic features; lateral viscosity and velocity differentials. These variables are quantized within the scope of a two-dimensional spatial domain as opposed to the existing one-dimensional model. A detailed exemplification of acceleration and deceleration waves, stop-and-go waves, and cluster effects are presented to explain the path of information flow. All these non-linear flow properties are evident throughout the simulation.

Opis:
This article constructs linear trend models for the main indicators of the balance sheet and net profit of a state bank and determines their forecast values. The structural management model for the basic indicators of the state of bank is constructed and regression equations are used. For structural regression models, growth rates and their lag values were chosen, and lag in the 1st and 2nd time periods was used for modelling. Based on the graphical analysis, it is shown that there are dependences between the indicators of financial autonomy and indicators of return on assets and equity and two clusters are distinguished: the cluster of financial stability and the cluster of unstable financial positions of the bank. Based on the structural model and its parameters, according to the state of bank, the development of a sustainable development strategy is proposed, in which special attention should be paid to planning and forecasting key indicators, their complex functional relationships taking into account the time factor, random factors and their impact on state of bank and its financial stability.
W artykule autorzy budują liniowy model trendu dla głównych wskaźników bilansu i zysku netto banku państwowego oraz określają ich prognozowane wartości. Skonstruowano strukturalny model zarządzania podstawowymi wskaźnikami banku państwa, w którym wykorzystuje się równania regresji. W przypadku modeli regresji strukturalnej wybrano stopy wzrostu i ich wartości opóźnienia, a do modelowania wykorzystano opóźnienie w pierwszym i drugim okresie. Na podstawie analizy graficznej wykazano, że istnieją złożone formy zależności między wskaźnikami autonomii finansowej a wskaźnikami zwrotu z majątku i kapitału oraz wyróżnia się dwa klastry: klaster stabilności finansowej oraz klaster niestabilnych pozycji finansowych banku. Zdaniem Banku Państwowego, w oparciu o model strukturalny i jego parametry, proponuje się opracowanie strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju. W której szczególną uwagę należy zwrócić na planowanie i prognozowanie kluczowych wskaźników. Ich złożonych zależności funkcjonalnych z uwzględnieniem czynnika czasu, czynników losowych oraz ich wpływu na wynik finansowy banku oraz na jego stabilność.

A significant development of Web technologies requires the application of more and more complex systems and algorithms for maintaining high quality of Web services. Presently, not only simple decision-making tools but also complex adaptation algorithms using artificial intelligence techniques are applied for controlling HTTP request traffic. The paper presents a new LFNRD (Local Fuzzy-Neural Adaptive Request Distribution) algorithm for request distribution in cluster-based Web systems using neuro-fuzzy models of Web servers in the decision-making process. The neuro-fuzzy model which is applied is discussed in detail and a design of the Web switch using the proposed solution is presented. Finally, a testbed is described and the results of a comparative simulation study on the LFNRD algorithm, and other algorithms known from the literature and used in the industry, are presented and discussed.

In this paper, a nonlinear model is proposed for improving the relationship between the size of a cluster and the variance within the cluster. This model describes the most appropriate functional relation between the within-cluster variance and the cluster size. Through this model, we can obtain the optimum size of a cluster and an estimate of the variance between clusters. The proposed model leads to further improvement in the estimation of the optimum size of a cluster, and the formula for the determination of optimum cluster size leads to explicit solution of models.
