The paper presents the new possibilities developing computing systems in reference to Data Bases as a Service realized by mean the mobile data bases making part of cloud computing systems that can be used for transport implementations. The advantages and disadvantage using the mobile data bases involved in cloud computing systems operating in wireless environment are shown. Systems demonstrated in the paper are illustrated the examples of service implementations addressed to the intelligent transport systems and logistics supply chain management.
W pracy zaprezentowano nowe możliwości tworzenia systemów chmur obliczeniowych wykorzystujące jako usługę bazy danych realizowane poprzez mobilne bazy danych, które mogą być użyte dla potrzeb transportu. Podano zalety i wady implementacji takich systemów w bezprzewodowym środowisku pracy systemów chmur obliczeniowych. Systemy demonstrowane w pracy są ilustrowane na przykładach zastosowań mobilnych baz danych w usługach adresowanych do inteligentnych systemów transportu i systemów zarządzania łańcuchami dostaw.

Nowadays operated telematics systems offer a large collection of different types of services requiring an effective transmission of data in complex structures. It is possible by the implementation of the present network solutions for the future of telecommunications and information technology. A high level of requirements for the quick access to transport resources and databases impose the necessity of making a number of processing operations information in a short time. Single computing machines are not able to do that. Therefore, the dynamic evolution is observed to combine the processing power of cloud computing. The advantage of this solution is a fulfillment of the requirements of security, reliability and quality while reducing costs. The authors of the article presented the concept of the use of private cloud for handling traffic between major railway hubs. Basis for this is representative model CC called „infrastructure as a service” designed for heterogeneous structures.

Artykuł przedstawia cloud computing jako model świadczenia usług informatycznych. Syntetycznie scharakteryzowano samo pojęcie. Omówiono podstawowe jego cechy, modele oferowania usług oraz modele wdrożeniowe. Zaprezentowano także wybrane dane statystyczne dotyczące rynku tego typu usług. Zasadniczą część opracowania stanowi prezentacja barier wdrożeniowych tej koncepcji. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań własnych autora oraz dokonano ich syntetycznego omówienia.
This paper presents cloud computing as a model for the provision of IT services. It contains a synthetic view of CC. Its basic features, models of service provision and implementation models were described. The paper also presents selected statistics on the market for this type of services. The main part of the study presents implementation barriers of this concept. The results of the author’s own research were presented and synthetically discussed.

In the paper an agent-based framework deployed in hybrid cluster and volunteer computing environment is presented. It utilizes two concepts proposed by the authors: Augmented Cloud and Agent Platform as a Service (AgPaaS). Both concepts are discussed in the context of Cloud Computing as defined by NIST. The key idea of the presented solution is to span the cloud (i.e., computing infrastructure) beyond the data center borders by utilizing web browsers as computational workers. The feasibility of the approach was demonstrated by two prototypes: the first one was based on Java Applets and Adobe Flash, whereas the second one on Microsoft Silverlight. The prototypes were next used to perform simple experiments, mainly related to scalability issues. Selected results from the experiments are discussed in the final part of the paper.

The article attempts to analyze IT solutions market available for companies as a service in the “cloud”. The term of “cloud computing” was identified and the characteristics of “cloud” solutions for selected systems applications in logistics were presented. Additionally, the forecasts of the development of the “cloud” services applicability for the future were indicated.

The aim of the paper is to present the current state of cloud computing solutions application in the management of a contemporary business organization. The author outlined such theoretical aspects of cloud computing solutions as its key concept and architecture, and the benefits resulting from its implementation in contemporary companies and enterprises. The article presents the vendor perspective of cloud computing services utilization in business organizations prepared on the basis of case studies, practical examples and an international research review. The research presenting the user perspective on cloud computing usage was based on the opinions of 100 respondents of cloud computing services and indicated the pros and cons resulting from the implementation and application of this solution which allowed to indicate not only its benefits but also its limitations.

Small to medium size enterprises are young and constantly changing their sphere of activities depending on fluctuations of the market. Accounting information systems (AIS) play a key role in providing the financial information for decision making within the enterprises. Advances in accounting information technology over the last several years have moved towards the online accounting. The online accounting system is web based and resides on a web server and anybody in the enterprise can access that accounting system with a simple browser. In the research we investigated the newest trends in AIS models for small to medium enterprises. Scientific works analysis of accounting software showed that their models were analyzed by foreign and Lithuanian scientists. However it is a lack of scientific papers on the newest trends in Lithuania. So that as methodology of this research was scientific works and comments of a number of reviewers. Many of them were sourced from the internet. Our survey of the newest trends in AIS models indicates advantages and dangers of AIS application within the business processes. Investigation of accounting software for Lithuanian small and medium enterprises was a part of the research. We have summarized only main accounting systems opportunities.

Using cloud computing with web technology affects the scalability, reliability and availability of information and data systems, often reducing the cost of organization. The use and transfer to the cloud of IT systems, including the ERP, can be a source of many problems and difficulties. The aim of the article is, apart from theoretical considerations, an indication of how Polish companies perceive the advantages and barriers of implementation cloud based ERP. The article presents two case studies from Polish companies.
Wykorzystanie chmury obliczeniowej z zastosowaniem technologii internetowej wpływa na skalowalność, niezawodność i dostępność systemów informatycznych oraz danych, często zmniejszając koszty funkcjonowania organizacji. Przenoszenie do chmury systemów informatycznych (w tym klasy ERP) jest złożonym procesem i może być źródłem wielu problemów i trudności. Celem artykułu, oprócz rozważań teoretycznych, jest wskazanie, jakie zalety i bariery napotykają polskie firmy podczas wdrażania rozwiązań chmury obliczeniowej w swojej działalności. Zdefiniowanie wniosków umożliwiła analiza dwóch studiów przypadku.

Paper presents selected management information systems in the railway industry companies arising from the transformation of the Polish State Railways into PKP Group. Hardware and software solutions used by this systems and benefits of implement them are also pointed out. Takes into account the areas of financial management as well as the areas of operational management, specific for their activities. These issues are presented in the context of technology and economy. It has been proved that the organizational solutions imply the impossibility of efficient use of resources allocated to information systems due to consummate the benefits of consolidation, virtualization and cloud computing is impossible.

Współcześnie jednym z najważniejszych narzędzi IT wspomagających kierownictwo w podejmowaniu decyzji są systemy Business Intelligence (BI). Dynamiczny rozwój w obszarze IT, rosnące potrzeby odbiorców oraz wzrastająca konkurencja wśród dostawców rozwiązań informatycznych przyczyniły się do powstania nowych form nabycia i użytkowania systemów BI. Alternatywą dla tradycyjnego modelu (on premise), który bazuje na własnych zasobach IT odbiorcy, jest możliwość nabycia i użytkowania systemów BI w chmurze obliczeniowej. W artykule na wstępie omówiono rolę i znaczenie tych systemów oraz przedstawiono zarys problematyki przetwarzania w chmurze obliczeniowej. Następnie nakreślono krótką charakterystykę systemów BI udostępnianych w chmurze obliczeniowej. Wskazano przykłady oraz zaprezentowano listę krajowych i międzynarodowych systemów BI oferowanych w publicznej chmurze obliczeniowej. W końcowej części przedstawiono analizę SWOT identyfikującą mocne i słabe strony oraz szanse i zagrożenia dla systemów BI oferowanych w publicznej chmurze obliczeniowej.
Currently one of the most important IT tools supporting management in the decision making are Business Intelligence systems. Dynamic development in the area of IT, growing needs of recipients and the increasing competition among suppliers of IT solutions, contributed to the rising of new forms of purchase and utilization of Business Intelligence systems. An alternative for the traditional model (on premise) which bases itself on own IT resources of the recipient, is the possibility of purchase and utilization of Business Intelligence systems in the cloud. In the article the role and meaning of Business Intelligence systems were discussed together with the outline of cloud computing problems. Then a brief characteric of Business Intelligence systems made available in the cloud was presented. There were indicated examples and the list of domestic and international Business Intelligence systems offered in the public cloud. In the final part the SWOT analysis was presented, identifying strong and weak points, opportunities and threats for Business Intelligence systems offered in the public cloud.

Opis:
The application of quadcopter and intelligent learning techniques in urban monitoring systems can improve flexibility and efficiency features. This paper proposes a cloud-based urban monitoring system that uses deep learning, fuzzy system, image processing, pattern recognition, and Bayesian network. The main objectives of this system are to monitor climate status, temperature, humidity, and smoke, as well as to detect fire occurrences based on the above intelligent techniques. The quadcopter transmits sensing data of the temperature, humidity, and smoke sensors, geographical coordinates, image frames, and videos to a control station via RF communications. In the control station side, the monitoring capabilities are designed by graphical tools to show urban areas with RGB colors according to the predetermined data ranges. The evaluation process illustrates simulation results of the deep neural network applied to climate status and effects of the sensors’ data changes on climate status. An illustrative example is used to draw the simulated area using RGB colors. Furthermore, circuit of the quadcopter side is designed using electric devices.

W pracy omówiono propozycje implementacji cyfrowego Paszportu Szczepień COVID-19, bazującego na Blockchain chroniącym prywatność. Od końca zeszłego roku, po rozpoczęciu szczepień przeciw COVID-19, toczy się intensywna dyskusja nad formą wprowadzenia takiego narzędzia oraz konsekwencjami jego wdrożenia. Ma ona miejsce w wielu krajach europejskich. Jednym z elementów tej dyskusji, były kwestie bezpieczeństwa i anonimowości weryfikowanych danych szczepionych osób w sposób masowy, w różnych obszarach funkcjonowania społeczeństwa. Zagadnienia te próbuje rozwiązać proponowany system cyfrowego Paszportu Szczepień. System ten wykorzystuje dwie główne metody: Blockchain i funkcje skrótu, które pozwalają na zachowanie bezpieczeństwa, prywatności, a zarazem anonimowości. Celem poprawienia intuicyjności oraz prostoty jego funkcjonowania, w procesie weryfikacji Paszportów zaproponowano technologię kodów QR. System został zaimplementowany i przetestowany w środowisku chmury obliczeniowej Amazon AWS. Zaproponowano architekturę referencyjną bazująca na Blockchain dla środowiska AWS, dedykowaną dużym i wymagającym rozwiązaniom aplikacyjnym Paszportu Szczepień. Dodatkowo środowisko chmury oferuje dostęp do wielu narzędzi, które wykorzystano w implementacji systemu, podnoszących w znaczny sposób bezpieczeństwo całego rozwiązania.
The paper discusses proposals for implementing the COVID-19 digital Vaccination Passport based on Blockchain that protects privacy. Since the end of the last year, after the commencement of vaccination against COVID-19, there has been an intense discussion on the form of introducing such a tool and the consequences of its implementation. This discussion is taking place in many European countries. One element of this discussion was the safety and anonymity of the massively verified data of persons on vaccinations in various areas of society functioning. These issues are being resolved by the proposed digital Vaccination Passport system. This system uses two major methods: Blockchain and hash functions, which allow you to maintain security, privacy, and anonymity at the same time. To improve the intuitiveness and simplicity of the system operation, the QR code technology was proposed in the passport verification process. The system has been implemented and tested in the Amazon AWS cloud computing environment. A reference architecture based on Blockchain for the AWS environment was proposed, dedicated to large and demanding application solutions. In addition, the cloud environment offers access to many tools that were used in the system’s implementation, significantly increasing the security of the entire solution.

Advantages of using model of "SaaS - Software as a service" was explained on the example of innovation international project "Bitrix 24", where the main objectives of CRM systems were realized combining with wide opportunities of coordination of communicative and business processes of modern companies. The project was translated into the majority European languages and uses tools of the social Intranet environment.
W artykule zbadano tendencje rozwoju i stosowania różnych klas systemów informatycznych w zarządzaniu w relacji do rodzajów procesów biznesowych. Zaprezentowano krótki przegląd aktualnego stanu wykorzystania technologii chmury obliczeniowej na świecie i na Ukrainie. Korzyści wynikające z zastosowania modelu "SaaS - Software as a Service" zostały wyjaśnione na przykładzie innowacji międzynarodowego projektu "Bitrix 24", w którym zrealizowane zostały główne cele systemów CRM w połączeniu z szerokimi możliwościami koordynacji procesów komunikacyjnych i biznesowych nowoczesnych firm. Projekt ten został przetłumaczony na większość języków Europejskich i wykorzystuje narzędzia społecznego środowiska Intranetu.
