    Introduction. The current health and safety management system under the Occupational Health and Safety Act has avoided agriculture in Korea. It is important to consider the various safety systems used in agricultural health and safety to develop effective regulations. Objective. The aims were to classify and review the items from various checklists using safety systems, such as design, training, etc., ultimately aimed at proposing directions for improving the health and safety of farmers. Materials and method. Among the retrieved checklists with Google, four were chosen for this study, based on criteria such as the Checklist developed by an international organization, as well as others. Each item on the checklist was categorized using criteria concerning safety systems, developed based on previous studies. Results. The total number of analyzed items was 573, which is 36 more than the actual number of checklist items (537). The proportion of items belonging to the training/procedures system was the highest (32.5%); the second-highest was for the mitigation system – 18.2%.; the third-largest proportion of items was maintenance/inspection – with 14.3%. Items related to the design and human factor systems were 8.2% and 5.6%, respectively. The safety system with the lowest proportion was the warning/notification system – 4.2% of the total items. The proportion of items that could not be classified into safety systems was found to be 16.1%. Conclusions. A large number of items belonging to the training/procedures system reported as occasionally not effective in prevention of injury were found in the checklists. It appears important to develop checklist items proposing the supplementation of various safety systems, rather than presenting items that are biased towards certain safety systems.

    A checklist is a collection of information that helps reduce the risk of failure due to limitations in human memory and attention. In surgery, the first Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC), created under the supervision of WHO (World Health Organization), was established in 2007 and covers three stages related to the patient's stay in the operating theater and operation: 1. Prior to initiation (induction) of anesthesia; 2. before cutting the skin; 3. before the patient leaves the operating room Colorectal surgery is particularly at high risk for complications and relatively high mortality. Elimination or, more likely, reducing the risk of complications by standardizing perioperative procedures may be particularly important in this group. The introduction of "dedicated" colorectal checklist surgery seems to be justified. The checklist proposed by the authors in colorectal surgery is divided into four stages, in which conscientious completion of checklists is intended to reduce the potential risk of complications due to hospitalization and surgical treatment. The presented checklist is obviously not closed, as a new publications or recommendations appear, some points may be modified, new issues may be added to the checklist. At present, however, it is a tool considering the well-known and confirmed elements of intraoperative procedures, the compliance of which may significantly reduce the rate of adverse events or surgical complications.

    New records to lichen flora and bryoflora of Wrangel Island are presented. The additions to the island cryptogam flora include 32 lichens and one lichenicolous fungus, 26 mosses and eleven liverwort species. Acarospora sinopica, Alectoria gowardii, Austroplaca sibirica, Calogaya bryochrysion, Hymenelia ceracea, Porpidia ochrolemma, and Sagiolechia protuberans are new to the island and to the Russian Far East. Two lichen species (Lecidea lithophila and Rinodina terrestris), as well as two liverwort taxa (Clevea hyaline, Lophoziopsis excisa var. elegans and Pseudolophozia debiliformis), are new to the Chukotka Autonomous Area. Two of the reported moss species (Funaria arctica and Schistidium umbrosum) are extremely rare. Location data and ecological descriptions for the newly reported species are included.

    W artykule przedstawiono analizę uciążliwości pracy biurowej za pomocą listy kontrolnej dla 32 pracowników przedsiębiorstwa zajmującego się branżą maszyn budowlanych i energetyki. Zbadano stopień uciążliwości pracy oraz przyczyny zgłaszanych przez pracowników uciążliwości. Zaprezentowano budowę listy kontrolnej, która została sporządzona na cele badania stanowisk biurowych wybranej grupy pracowników oraz zasadę przyjętej oceny uciążliwości w liście kontrolnej. W artykule przedstawiono również wiele powszechnie występujących uciążliwości pracy biurowej i ich skutków dla zdrowia pracowników.
    The article presents an analysis of nuisance of office work through the checklist for 32 employees company engaged in construction machinery industry and energy. Examined the degree of arduous work and the reasons reported by employees nuisance. Construction presents a checklist that was prepared to test a selected group of clerical workers and the principle adopted in the assessment checklist nuisance. Article also includes number of generally occurring nuisance office and their health effects.

    It is the teacher’s responsibility to make the classroom culturally responsive. Children bring their own culture to the classroom with them. The teacher needs to make sure these influences are nurtured in a positive way. The current literature indicates that language, social interactions, and play are all influenced by a child’s culture. The author used the Kendell multicultural checklist to highlight key areas of the classroom that needed to be addressed in order to make the classroom more culturally responsive. A plan was developed and put into practice to better understand family cultures and to better teach the children about different cultures. A culturally responsive classroom is critical for families and children to feel safe and welcome in a positive learning environment away from home. In the United States, 25% of children are immigrants or come from immigrant families (Souto-Manning 2013). This makes it crucial for educators to learn how to have a positive and welcoming multicultural classroom environment. With over 75% of early childhood teachers being white and speaking only English, it makes it that much more important for them to learn about different cultures and set up a classroom ready to nurture a variety of cultures (Souto-Manning 2013).

    Annotated checklist of Mygalomorphae so far recorded from different states and union territories of India reveal that a total of 111 species under 32 genera belonging eight families are distributed over 17 states and two union territories. The review cleared that diversity of the primitive spider fauna is maximum in Tamil Nadu followed by Kerala, West Bengal and Karnataka and they are distributed maximally along the coastal states excepting Karnataka. Western Ghats Biodiversity hotspot is the house of the fauna. There is nearly 72 % local endemism.

    Year 2018 marks as the decade of introduction of WHO Surgical Safety Checklist into the world of modern surgery. Surgical safety checklist, a set of items vital within the perioperative patient’s safety checkup, easy to be performed in any of the operating theatres and under any circumstances, is proven to be an effective tool in fight against preventable adverse events in surgical care. The aim of our study was to present the results of implementation of the SSC to surgical wards in European Region -in terms of utilization and effectiveness. We analyzed substantial articles on implementation and challenges of surgical checklist in European centres from period 2008-2017. Within 308 articles of PubMED database, 8 substantial articles on utilization and effectiveness of SSC were identified and reviewed. 50% of research was performed in Central Europe. 75% of articles measured the effectiveness with one method, either documents/checklist evaluation or questionnaires among health care professionals. Presented research showed significant changes in patient safety, decrease in post-surgical complications and mortality rates. The utilization of the checklist did not reach the ideal 100% in all procedures, ranging between 55-95%, with maximum compliance of 80% of all items. Main challenges in completion and participation of professionals in the studies were lack of training and audit options, as well as limited financial resources towards ensuring patient safety in surgical wards. Despite 10 years of introduction to the surgical field, the data on utilization and effectiveness of SSC is still insufficient among countries of the European region. Potential ways of improvement, such as training, monitoring and financial resources could result in further reduction of complication rates and mortality.

    Introduction. A healthy lifestyle can help older people maintain their functional ability and, therefore, satisfaction with life. An important aspect of health promotion is the assessment of lifestyle factors over which patients have some control. Objective. The aim of this study was to analyze the lifestyle of the elderly in urban and rural areas using the Fantastic Life Inventory (FLI). Materials and method. The research group comprised 138 people aged 65–94 years (M = 72.41, SD = 6.90). Participants were recruited from urban 78 (56.5%) and rural 60 (43.5%) areas. The FLI used in this study has 25 closed-ended questions that explore nine domains, including physical, psychological, and social lifestyle components. Results. The overall lifestyle of most seniors was ‘excellent’ (45.7%) or ‘very good’ (41.3%); none of the respondents scored in the lowest category – ‘needs improvement’. The domains that mostly demonstrated the need for a change were related to activity, nutrition, insight, sleep, stress. Participants from rural areas tended to have lower scores in the activity (p= 0.017) and nutrition (p= 0.015) domains. The lifestyle of the elderly is determined by several factors, including age, gender, health status, level of education, and the place of residence. Conclusion. The majority of older persons demonstrated an ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’ lifestyle with healthy habits. The adoption of healthy lifestyle patterns, in particular a regular balanced diet and proper physical activity, can help prevent functional limitations among the elderly in rural areas.

    Upper Tanawallies is in the middle of the Western part of Hazara division, and includes the remote areas of four districts i.e. Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur and Tor-Ghar, having latitude 34°.34.40´ N to 34°.48.88´ N and 72°.84.27´ E to 73°.10.50´ E longitude. This area is loaded with plant diversity, and tree species in this area vary in their life form, leaf spectra and phenological behavior. There is no prior record of plants diversity in the area, hence, this study was conducted to explore the tree diversity, life form, leaf spectrum and phenology of the tree flora. A total 127 sampling stands (10 x 10 m2) were put into place in different locations in Upper Tanawallies to collect field data using the quadrat method. As an outcome, we learned that the region hosts 53 different tree species of 39 genera belonging to 25 tree families. The biological spectra of the trees were constructed according to Raunkiaer (1934). Results showed that Mesophanerophytes was the dominant life form class, contributing 34 (64%) of all tree species encountered, while Mesophyll and Microphyll was the dominant leaf size spectrum classes, each contributing to a count of 18 (34%) of all tree species. Frequent field visits were also carried out during the flowering and fruiting seasons in 2016/17. The result indicates that most tree species of the area show flowering during April-May (32%) while, maximum fruiting were recorded in June-July (36%). Our study concludes that anthropogenic activities on these forests should be reduced to overcome deforestation. This work will be the baseline for new research in the study area.

    Patient safety still remains as one of the biggest challenges for healthcare professionals. Surgical adverse events comprise 8% of all iatrogenic complications, half of them being easily preventable with simple checkup methods. Especially in pediatric surgery, where not only meaningful differences in anatomy or treatment response lie, but more importantly limited communication with the patient occurs, additional precautions have to be undertaken. In 2008, as a result of Safe Surgery Saves Lives campaign, Surgical Safety Checklist was introduced. A standardized checklist of all crucial perioperative steps is meant to be performed in every operating theater, ideally under all circumstances. The aim of our study was to present the current views and effectiveness of implementation of surgical safety checklists in pediatric surgery settings. We analyzed substantial articles on implementation and challenges of surgical checklist in pediatric surgery from period 2008-2018. Within 310 articles of PubMED database, 10 substantial articles on pediatric surgery safety were identified and reviewed. 70% of articles discussed the implementation of the checklist and post-implementation improvements, 20% included healthcare and parents attitude towards safety checklists. One article presented the variation of the surgical safety checklist in pediatric surgical and ambulatory settings. Most of the articles noted the prevention of adverse events correlated with the usage of the checklist, as well as positive attitude of healthcare providers and patients family towards checklist implementation was noted. Main challenge was the fidelity of the completion, especially in emergency settings. The Surgical Safety Checklist unifies the process of avoiding human error in surgery at all costs. Reviewed research presents improvements in prevention of adverse events in pediatric surgery, as well as innovative solutions for issues related mainly to pediatric patients, such as inclusion of guardians or even patients in safety check process, or implementing procedural or bedside safety checklists.

    Cechą nowoczesnego budownictwa kolejowego powinna być duża niezawodność budowli liniowych i obiektów inżynieryjnych. Osiągnięcie tej niezawodności zależy głównie od jakości projektu i poprawności procesów technologicznych budowy. Liczne przykłady dowodzą, że warunki te nie zawsze są obecnie spełniane. W projektach budownictwa kolejowego można doszukać się zwłaszcza braku koordynacji rozwiązań należących do różnych specjalności. Artykuł charakteryzuje dwie, spośród kilku częściej stosowanych, metod wykrywania zagrożeń na etapie projektowania, tj. metody HAZOP oraz list kontrolnych. Podano konkretne przykłady, w których zastosowanie tych metod w drogach kolejowych, pozwoliłoby uniknąć grubych błędów.
    The feature of modern railway engineering should be considerable reliability of linear structure and engineering objects. An achievement of such reliability depends mostly on the quality of the project and the correctness of the technological processes of construction. Numerous examples prove that these conditions are not nowadays fulfilled. There is an evidence on the lack of coordination of the various solutions that belong to various specialities. The two, among several, more often applied methods for risk detection in designing stage i.e. HAZOP method and checklist have been characterized in the paper. Some examples when the application of these methods in railway lines could help to avoid some gross errors, have been given.

    The list of freshwater gastropods of Bulgaria, with data on their distribution, ecology and conservation status, was based on a critical overview of all available sources and unpublished materials. The total number of freshwater snail species hitherto recorded from Bulgaria is 120. Three species are regarded as extinct, two species were found only as subfossil remains. The most diverse families are Hydrobiidae (67 species), Planorbidae (15), and Lymnaeidae (11). The remaining families are represented by 1 to 4 species. Zoogeographical, ecological and conservation data are discussed.

    Despite successful introduction of rules of asepsis, antisepsis, antibiotic treatment, medicine still fights with human errors in medicine. One of the crucial and sensitive to miscommunication are surgical situations, where plenty of multidisciplinary team members are involved in successful provision of the treatment. That is why starting from 2008 a useful tool supporting provision of safe surgery - Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC) - was introduced by World Health Organization. In single worldwide studies in beginning of implementation, SSC was proven to be effective in many both high- and low income settings. The aim of our study was to review the effectiveness of the SSC based on the review of research in low- and middle income countries in years 2008-2017. Within 302 articles of PubMed Medline database, 12 articles were chosen for further analysis, with majority research held in Sub-Saharan Africa (42%), and Upper Middle Income Countries group (42%). The review proved the effectiveness of implementation of SSC in all income groups, especially in terms of reduction of surgical site infection, postoperative sepsis and improvement of communication in healthcare. Promising results of the few studies should encourage more research in this field, which may be difficult to conduct due to the lack of necessary resources in the LMIC.

    Praca człowieka jest uwarunkowana jego możliwościami psychofizycznymi, które są ograniczone – natomiast możliwości urządzeń technicznych, pomijając aspekt ekonomiczny, są teoretycznie nieograniczone. Wizerunek nowoczesnej firmy wymaga stworzenia w niej warunków pracy nie tylko bezpiecznych dla zachowania zdrowia i życia, ale także optymalnych z punktu widzenia potrzeb i możliwości fizjologicznych i psychospołecznych pracowników. W artykule przedstawiono ideę ergonomii partycypacyjnej w aspekcie kontroli ergonomicznych uciążliwości pracy w składach materiałów wybuchowych. Przedstawiono założenia listy kontrolnej oraz wyniki oceny przeprowadzonej w jednym ze składów MW.
    This paper presents the idea of participatory ergonomics for controlling ergonomic work arduousness in blasting chambers. The work of man is determined by his psychophysical capabilities which are limited – but the possibility of technical devices, aside from the economic aspect, are theoretically unlimited. The image of a modern company requires the creation of working conditions not only safe for health and life, but also optimal from the point of view of the needs and capabilities of physiological and psychosocial workers. This paper presents the assumptions of the checklist and the results of the assessment carried out in one of the blasting chambers.

    Niezależna weryfikacja/sprawdzanie planów leczenia i ich statystki w radioterapii przez wykwalifikowanego fizyka medycznego jest jednym z kluczowych elementów zapewnienia bezpiecznej, wysokiej jakości radioterapii. To jest potencjalnie jedna z najskuteczniejszych metod identyfikacji błędów oraz luk jakościowych pod warunkiem, że spełnia określone kryteria skutecznego procesu weryfikacji i zapewnia komprehensywną ocenę planu leczenia. Wdrożenie środków i procesów bezpieczeństwa leczenia pacjentów radioterapeutycznych w celu oceny parametrów planu leczenia przez niezależną wykwalifikowaną osobę i przy zastosowaniu metod adekwatnych do stosowanej techniki (software, PSQA – patient specific QA, dozymetria in vivo) wymaga podejścia procesowego. Powinno ono spełniać kryteria end-to-end test. Podążając za zaleceniami raportu AAPM TG 275 oraz lokalnie obowiązującą praktyką, opracowano nową listę, która zostanie zaprezentowana w tym artykule.
    The independent verification of radiotherapy treatment plans and statistics metrics of it by a qualified medical physicist is one of the key elements in ensuring safe, high-quality radiotherapy. This is potentially one of the most effective methods of the detection of errors and the leak in quality assurance process. There is very crucial the radiotherapy plan evaluation process meets certain criteria for an effective verification and provides a comprehensive assessment of this plan. The implementation measures and processes of safety for radiotherapy planning in order to verify the quality and quantity parameters by an independent qualified person using adequate methods (software, PSQA – patient specific QA, in vivo dosimetry) requires a comprehensive approach. It should meet the end-toend test criteria. Following the recommendations of the AAPM TG 275 report and local practice, the new checklist has been developed which will be presented in this article.

    Surgical intervention is commonly associated with the use of hardware that facilitates invasive medical treatment. Nowadays surgeons apply a new set of tools that help them anticipate the outcome of the intervention and define potential risk factors. Increasing patient migration inspired healthcare professionals to introduce universal standards of care, supported by medical guidelines and checklists. Today, prior to skin incision, every modern cardiac surgeon is enabled in the whole range of tools that are designed to increase patient safety and provide thorough information to the whole medical team.
    Procedura chirurgiczna jest zwykle kojarzona z użyciem narzędzi, które zapewniają inwazyjną interwencję. Współcześni chirurdzy wykorzystują dodatkowy zestaw narzędzi dla przewidzenia wyniku ich leczenia oraz określenia potencjalnych czynników ryzyka. Wzrastająca migracja pacjentów skłoniła środowisko medyczne do wprowadzenia ogólnych standardów postępowania opartych na wytycznych medycznych i liście kontrolnej. Obecnie, zanim nastąpi naruszenie ciała pacjenta, każdy nowoczesny kardiochirurg wyposażony jest w pełen zakres narzędzi, które odpowiednio użyte mają zwiększyć bezpieczeństwo pacjenta i dostarczyć wyczerpujących informacji zespołowi leczącemu.

    Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia tematykę identyfikacji zagrożeń środowiska pracy za pomocą listy kontrolnej. Formy kontroli na terenie krajów unii europejskiej nie są jasno sprecyzowane z wykorzystaniem jakich narzędzi mają zostać one wykonane. Istnieje wiele form prowadzenia stanu bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy, które mogą zostać wykorzystanie do badania ryzyka występującego na danym stanowisku pracy. Jedną z form wykorzystywanych jest lista kontrolną. Prawidłowo skonstruowana lista kontrolna powinna zawierać odpowiednio sformułowane pytania, które jasno wykazują niezgodności w procesach pracy na poszczególnych stanowiskach. Zmienność doboru pytań uwarunkowana jest charakterem prowadzanych prac oraz zagrożeń na stanowiskach pracy w danym przedsiębiorstwie lub organizacji. Aby listy kontrolne aby były jak najbardziej dopasowane do danego stanowiska pracy muszą podlegać częstej aktualizacji celem dążenia do zmniejszania ryzyka pracy co w konsekwencji zmniejsza również ryzyko wystąpienia wypadku przy pracy lub sytuacji potencjalnej wypadkowej.
    This article presents the topic of identifying the hazards of the working environment by means of a checklist. Forms of inspections within the European Union countries are not clearly specified with what tools they are to be performed. There are many forms of conducting the state of occupational health and safety, which can be used to study the risks present at the workplace. One form used is the checklist. A properly constructed checklist should contain appropriately formulated questions that clearly demonstrate inconsistencies in the work processes of each position. Variability in the selection of questions is determined by the nature of the work carried out and the hazards at the workstations in a particular company or organization. In order for the checklists to be the most suitable for a particular workstation, they must be subject to frequent updating in order to strive to reduce the risk of work, which consequently also reduces the risk of an accident at work or a potential accident situation.

    In Iran, furniture is mainly manufactured in small workshops, where most activities are performed manually. This study was conducted among workers of furniture workshops to determine prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms and to assess ergonomic working conditions to identify major risk factors associated with musculoskeletal symptoms. In this study, 410 randomly selected furniture workers participated. The Nordic questionnaire and an ergonomics checklist consisting of 6 sections were used as data collection tools. An index was calculated for each section of the checklist. Action categories indicating the priority of corrective measures were also defined. The highest prevalence of symptoms was reported in the knees (39%), lower back (35.6%) and wrists/hands (29.5%). It was found that manual material handling, poor workstation design and awkward working postures were associated with the reported symptoms in these regions (OR 1.77–4.52). Poor general working conditions and work organization showed association as well. Any interventional measures should focus on these areas.

    This review presents the results of studies on the freshwater snail-trematode associations, carried out in Europe since the beginning of the 20th century. The great number of synonyms of snail and trematode specific names has made the cooperation between malacologists and parasitologists difficult. Here we provide a survey of larval trematodes (cercariae) based on Central, North and Western European literature. Whenever possible, the valid species name is provided, accompanied by synonyms, or just provisional names are used making up the largest part of the list. Trematodes with a definitely unclear systematic status are indicated as species incertae sedis. These include mostly trematodes which were attributed obviously erroneous names with poor or no description of their morphology. Although the provisional names inflate the number of trematode species and there are still many identification problems, we believe that this is another step in assessing the trematode species composition in Europe which will help not only parasitologists but also malacologists and contribute to their closer cooperation.

    Zagadnienie dostępności stron internetowych, jak również innych źródeł informacji, dla osób z niepełnosprawnościami jest niezwykle ważne z uwagi na znaczący procent społeczeństwa, który zagrożone jest wykluczeniem społecznym. Artykuł stara się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, jak postrzegana jest konieczność zastosowania wytycznych dostępności przez podmioty zobowiązane do ich stosowania. Przedstawiono wytyczne WCAG w wersji 2.0 oraz wersji 2.1. Dokonano analizy aktów prawnych, które zobowiązują podmioty do ich stosowania. Zbadano jak wytyczne i przepisy są interpretowane przez losowo wybrane jednostki sektora finansów publicznych, analizując ich strony internetowe przy pomocy walidatora występującego na liście prowadzonej przez organizację, która opracowała wytyczne WCAG. Wykonano również badania ankietowe wśród studentów kierunków informatycznych. Miały one na celu określenie stanu ich wiedzy i przygotowania do publikacji informacji zgodnych ze standardami dostępności. Przeprowadzono wywiady z praktykami tworzącymi, wdrażającymi i utrzymującymi portale internetowe instytucji publicznych. Na podstawie wyników zrealizowanych badań wskazano problemy związane z wdrożeniem wytycznych, jak również zaproponowano szereg działań pozwalających na ich rozwiązanie.
    The accessibility of websites and other sources of information for people with disabilities is crucial nowadays due to a significant percentage of society being at risk of social exclusion. The article tries to answer how the entities obliged to apply the accessibility guidelines perceive their duties in this regard. WCAG guidelines in version 2.0 and version 2.1 are presented. The legal acts that oblige entities to use them are analyzed. The author also examines how the guidelines and regulations are interpreted by randomly selected units of the public finance sector by analyzing their websites with the help of a validator chosen from the list maintained by the organization that developed the WCAG guidelines. As part of the study, a questionnaire survey was also carried out among students of IT programs. It was aimed at determining the state of their knowledge and preparedness for publication of web content in accordance with the accessibility standards. Interviews were conducted as well with practitioners creating, implementing, and maintaining internet portals of public institutions. The research allowed for identifying problems related to implementing the guidelines and proposing some actions to solve them.

    Introduction: In the era of „Evidence Based Medicine” knowledge of methodology and scientific trends is an indispensable tool for both practitioner and physician-scientist. The ability to interpret data obtained from the literature allows for better diagnosis, treatment and control of patients. The generally accepted structuring of published data and unification of research tools also allows for conducting original and review papers based on our own results. The Aim: The purpose of our work was to search for and present scientific tools (questionnaires, scales and checklists) used to collect data in rhinology. The results of these studies were published in reputable magazines in the period 2000–2019 in English. Material and method: To search for articles, we used MEDLINE, PubMed and Scopus date bases. Conclusions: The use of generally accepted check-lists and questionnaires in the collection of clinical data and their assessment allows to significantly increase the quality of the collected data and their scientific attractiveness, which in turn is applied to the easier possibility of publishing the obtained results and further citing them in reputable specialist journals.
    Wprowadzenie: W czasach „Evidence Based Medicine” znajomość metodologii oraz trendów naukowych jest niezbędnym narzędziem zarówno dla lekarza-praktyka, jak i lekarza-naukowca. Umiejętność interpretacji danych uzyskanych z piśmiennictwa pozwala lepiej diagnozować, leczyć, ale również kontrolować pacjentów. Ogólnie przyjęta strukturyzacja opublikowanych danych oraz ujednolicenie narzędzi badawczych umożliwia także prowadzenie prac oryginalnych i poglądowych na podstawie własnych wyników. Cel: Celem naszego tekstu było poszukiwanie i przedstawienie narzędzi naukowych (ankiet, skal i listy kontrolnej) używanych do gromadzenia danych w rynologii. Wyniki tych badań zostały opublikowane w renomowanych czasopismach w latach 2000–2019 w języku angielskim. Materiał i metoda: Do poszukiwania artykułów wykorzystaliśmy bazy: MEDLINE, PubMed oraz Scopus. Wnioski: Używanie ogólnie przyjętych check-list oraz ankiet w gromadzeniu i ocenianiu danych klinicznych pozwala istotnie zwiększyć jakość zgromadzonych danych oraz ich atrakcyjność naukową, co z kolei przykłada się na łatwiejszą możliwość publikacji uzyskanych wyników oraz dalsze ich cytowanie w renomowanych czasopismach specjalistycznych.

    Opis:
    A Scots pine forest, affected by the great cormorant colony, was studied by plot-based fungal survey method during the years 2010-2012 in Lithuania. Diversity and composition of fungal communities were investigated at five zones that had been influenced by different stages of breeding colony establishment: starting-point and almost abandoned cormorant colony part (zones A and B), active part (zones C and D), and the edge of the colony (zone E). The control zone G in undamaged by cormorants pine stand was assessed too. A total of 257 fungal species of ascomycetes including anamorphic fungi, basidiomycetes and zygomycetes were recorded. Seven species were registered for the first time in Lithuania. Species richness in the examined zones varied, lowest being in zones B (51 species), C (46) and D (73) and almost twice as high in the zones A and E (129 and 120, respectively). The comparison of fungal species compositions of different zones showed that their similarity was rather low (SS: 0.22–0.59). The most obvious changes in the trophic structure of fungal communities in the territory occupied by the bird colony were a strong decrease of mycorrhizal species, the presence of coprophilous fungi on forest litter, and the appearance of host-specialized fungi on alien and non-forest plants that have established in the disturbed forest.

    Opis:
    Background. The purpose was to study the test-retest reliability and internal consistency of questions in a questionnaire concerning working conditions and health and the inter-rater reliability of observations and measurements according to an ergonomic checklist. Method. Fifty-seven operators participated in a retest questionnaire and 58 operators participated in an inter-observer test. Results. The questions had fair to good or higher reliability in 142 of the total of 312. Twenty-seven of the total of 44 variables in the ergonomic checklist were classified as having fair to good or higher reliability. Conclusions. About half of the questions had fair to good or higher reliability and can be recommended for further analyses. The majority of variables in the ergonomic checklist were classified as having fair to good or higher reliability. Low reliability does not necessarily indicate that the reliability of the test, per se, is low but may signify that the conditions measured vary over time or that the answers are aggregated in one part of the scale.

    The main risk factor, associated with the necessity of decision-making in the construction engineering activity, which is the human tendency to commit errors, was presented in the paper. This impact is taken into account in the form of a requirement for the use of quality management measures in the construction process, because of its significant influence on the safety of building structures.

    Artykuł jest próbą analizy dostępnych, nieinwazyjnych metod pozwalających na całościową analizę i ocenę bezpieczeństwa systemów komputerowych. Opisane metody nie ingerują bezpośrednio w działanie gotowych systemów, skupiając się w dużej mierze na statycznej analizie systemu. Analiza taka opiera się na stwierdzeniu zgodności systemu z poszczególnymi wymaganiami bezpieczeństwa, tworzonymi przez organizację DISA. Organizacja ta swoje wymagania przedstawia w trojaki sposób: tworząc statyczne wymagania tzw. STIG'i, manualne procedury, mające pomóc w analizie bezpieczeństwa oraz skrypty automatyczne dla części systemów (tzw. SRR). Przekrój systemów objętych wymaganiami jest ogromny, zaczynając od systemów operacyjnych, idąc przez systemy bazodanowe, sieci a skończywszy na tworzonych przez programistów aplikacjach. Artykuł zawiera również krótką analizę pewnych braków, niedogodności i wad wyżej wymienionych metod oraz jest próbą odpowiedzi w jakim kierunku powinien iść ich rozwój.
    This article is an attempt to analyze the available, non-intrusive methods of analyzing and assessing if the overall security of computer systems. These methods do not interfere directly in the working systems, focusing largely on static analysis of the system. The analysis base on the finding of compliance with the various safety requirements, formed by the DISA organization. This organization presents its requirements in three ways: by creating the static requirements, so-called STIGs, manual procedures (checklists), helped in the analysis of the security and automated scripts for system components (SRR). The scope of the systems covered by the requirements is very big, including operating systems, database systems, the network and applications created by software developers. This article also contains a brief analysis of some shortcomings, disadvantages and drawbacks of the above-mentioned methods and is an attempt to answer for the question: what should be done in the nearest future for static security analysis.
