Opis:
Advancing the evolution of motor cars, understood as complex mechatronic systems are connected with the ever emerging constrains on coordination between the components of the system objects. Adopted by all environment related to the automotive, the way of communication between the vehicle components via network for data exchange, connected with the necessity to keep up with increasing demands on the transmission speed and level of security. The answers to these requirements concerning the ways to control x-by-wire or complex mechanism to optimize the operation of the engine, seems to have been created by the big automobile companies FlexRay protocol. The article presents the basie features of this method of communication that allows for a 10 fold increase in data rates compared to the conventional CAN network. The remaining features of transmission such as reliability and level of time determinism, which are important for control systems are discussed later in the paper. Included in the summary comments indicate potential further developments and the possibilities of the application if this method of transmission in automotive applications.

Opis:
Can is widely distributed network in the industry and automotive applications with high availability enable its electronic components and the easy integration projects with software engineering research Matlab type, tends to encourage the use of these precious features of CAN to build research stands. The article presents a data transmission system using the CAN protocol as a test of a new generation of cooling systems for internal combustion engines. Adopted for the object of research methodology which involves the simulation of variable parameters of the different control strategies require data processing in real time. A large number of recorded and interpreted online information about the temperatures in many parts of the facility and other variables such as instantaneous fuel consumption, secreted mechanical power, crankshaft and throttle position together with the need to control the plant justify departure from the traditional methods of transmitting signals in separate lines , for the application data exchange network, adopted by the authors as a way of organizing the flow of data based on the CAN protocol using the Matlab Simulink Real Time. The article contains a description of the implementation of networks in the context of very specific features for Controller Area Network particularly regarding mechanisms such as arbitration on the bus, the method of initiation and the provision of sufficient transmission capacity. The presented graphs and diagrams illustrate the proposed and implemented solutions and the results obtained from stucties measuring temperatures for the warm-up and cooling of the engine.

Opis:
The growing performance of low-cost mobile devices makes it possible to perform advanced processing on mobile sensors. This creates the need to building a management system for groups of sensors actively analyzing signals fromhardware devices. In this paper, an architecture of a CouchDB-Based Sensor Management Platform is presented and its application for the problem of finding stolen cars is shown. Detailed performance tests of the platform as well as its application are provided.

Opis:
Current tendencies in electronics and informatics development going towards Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data or Data Cloud technologies create new possibilities in acquiring and utilizing data. The article presents the concept of modular monitoring of vehicles operating parameters. Presented device registers data from the OBD system and a set of independent, configurable sensor modules. Data from the OBD system is acquired via protocol. CAN Bus with a DLC connector. The signal from sensor modules is transferred via a Bluetooth wireless network. The registered data can be storage on board as CD card memory or alternatively on a typical user interface such as laptop, tablet, cell phone etc. The communication with the user interface is realised with USB. Moving vehicles modular monitoring system presented in the article can be used to attain a fuller representation of the vehicles state in relation to its environment. The base assumption of the device is maximal flexibility in term of sensors versality as well as possibilities of assembly on board. In connection with the concept, a prototype of the device was made and tested with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) module and a pressure sensor. Appliances modules are based on Cortex M4 and M0 processing units. A users interface in LabVIEW and examples of registered signals are showed at the end of the article.

Opis:
Development of IoT is tightly coupled with the use of the wireless communication solutions. Nowadays there are several standard wireless protocols, which are responsible for carrying information. The increase of the communication traffic tends to specialize the kind of used data interchange methods for the sake of demanded size of data packet, frequency of connections, meaning of the data, security and safety of the transmission as well as many others. One of the intensively spreading wireless networks is LoRaWAN. Because of its low energy consumption, long distance range, and high flexibility, it seems to be very effective solution to apply in the field of road traffic. The article presented the base features of LoRaWAN as well as the conception of virtual local traffic system based on the data yield from the board systems of cars. Accessed from OBD information about f. e.g. temporary cars speed or accelerations associated with their current position can be significant factor in creating the real image of the traffic situation.

In the article the result of the attempt to use the MLP neural network to define the state of the motor-car body deformation as a result of road collision is presented. As the research parameter the size of damage of the car of the aggrieved party was assumed, defined by the work of the motor-car body deformation Wdef. The elements of the mechanism of the damaging event determining the size of the damage were the interior factors of the system. The research was conducted on one thousand cases submitted to liquidate in the Silesian branch of one of the insurance companies. The conducted research checked the functioning of the neural network in case of limited amount of initial expert data.
W artykule przedstawiono wyniki prób zastosowania sieci neuronowej typu MLP do określenia stanu deformacji nadwozia pojazdu samochodowego będącej skutkiem kolizji drogowej. Jako parametr badawczy przyjęto rozmiar szkody określony pracą deformacji nadwozia pojazdu poszkodowanego Wdef. Elementy mechanizmu zdarzenia szkodowego determinujące rozmiar szkody stanowiły czynniki wewnętrzne układu. Badaniem objęto tysiąc przypadków zgłoszonych celem likwidacji w śląskim oddziale jednego z zakładów ubezpieczeń. W przeprowadzonych badaniach sprawdzono działanie sieci

Opis:
The features of the synthesis of neural controllers for the car speed control system are considered in this article. The task of synthesis is to determine the weight coefficients of neural networks that provide the implementation of proportional and proportional-integralderivative control laws. The synthesis of controllers is based on an approach that uses a reversed model of the standard. A model of the car speed control system with the use of permitting subsystems has been developed, with the help of the synthesized controller that is connected under certain specified conditions. With the iterative programming and mathematical modeling environment in MATLAB, and using the Simulink package, a structural scheme for controlling the speed of the car was constructed and simulated using synthesized neural controllers.
