Opis:: New technological solutions require an organization to adapt constantly to changes in a dynamic environment. The aim of the article is to show the usefulness of building links between processes and projects based on knowledge resources in dynamic changeable technological circumstances based on research conducted in Poland. Opis:: The article is devoted to the development of an information system for automating business processes of a modern enterprise with ensuring stability and reliability, which are implemented by the applications developed by the authors. Goal is to develop improvements to the core digitalization processes of enterprises for sustainable functioning. The authors carried out a deep analysis and described the main stages of the enterprise digitalization process: the process of document approval, business processes of personnel management, etc. The architecture of the information system, a description of business processes and the principles of reliability and fault tolerance of the system being developed have been developed. The developed desktop-client application provides connection to the information system with the help of working computers of the enterprise through a local network with access to the application server. This allows you to reduce damage from accidental or deliberate incorrect actions of users and administrators; separation of protection; a variety of means of protection; simplicity and manageability of the information system and its security system.
Artykuł poświęcony jest opracowaniu systemu informatycznego do automatyzacji procesów biznesowych nowoczesnego przedsiębiorstwa z zapewnieniem stabilności i niezawodności, które są realizowane przez opracowane przez autorów aplikacje. Celem jest rozwijanie usprawnień podstawowych procesów cyfryzacji przedsiębiorstw dla zrównoważonego funkcjonowania. Autorzy przeprowadzili dogłębną analizę i opisali główne etapy procesu cyfryzacji przedsiębiorstwa: proces akceptacji dokumentów, procesy biznesowe zarządzania personelem itp. Zostały opracowane architektura systemu informatycznego, opis procesów biznesowych oraz zasady niezawodności i odporności na błędy tworzonego systemu. Opracowana aplikacja typu desktop-client zapewnia połączenie z systemem informacyjnym za pomocą pracujących komputerów przedsiębiorstwa poprzez sieć lokalną z dostępem do serwera aplikacji. Pozwala to na ograniczenie szkód wynikających z przypadkowych lub celowych nieprawidłowych działań użytkowników i administratorów; rozdzielenie ochrony; różnorodność środków ochrony; prostotę i łatwość zarządzania systemem informatycznym i jego systemu zabezpieczeń.

Opis:: Мета роботи: Сучасний розвиток масової культури характеризується зростанням ринку графічних наративів, стрімким збільшенням сегмента цифрових коміксів, активним використанням коміксу як інструменту комунікації в різних галузях і дисциплінарних напрямах. Мета дослідження: визначити медійні можливості коміксу в представленні освітньо-навчального, кроскультурного та проблемно-етичного контенту сучасної організаційної культури. Дизайн / Метод / Підхід дослідження: Оглядовий характер статті передбачає залучення традиційних загальнонаукових методів (опис, порівняння, абстрагування та конкретизація). Міждисциплінарність дослідження актуалізувала компаративний метод у представленні крос-культурних особливостей організаційних/офісних/корпоративних коміксів. Результати дослідження: Вплив візуальної масової культури та поширення міждисциплінарних інструментів дослідження уможливили в межах заявленої проблематики аналіз трьох напрямів: адаптивні та аудиторноспрямовані коміксові техніки популяризували їх використання з навчальною та освітньою метою; можливість зіставлення типології світових коміксів з кроскультурними глобальними дослідженнями (ми спиралися на методику та результати проєкту GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness); можливості коміксу відтворювати, підтримувати та поширювати традицію певної організаційної культури. Теоретична цінність дослідження: Робота розширила: (1) можливості різновекторного підходу до коміксової культури з метою уточнення міждисциплінарної методики; (2) уявлення щодо формування та підтримки автентичної організаційної культури за допомогою коміксових технік; (3) можливості використання графічних наративів в процесі навчально-освітньої та професійної комунікації. Практична цінність дослідження: Можливості використання коміксу в сучасній організаційній культурі на рівні самопрезентації, навчання та підтримки традицій. Оригінальність/цінність дослідження: Презентовано різновекторний аналіз впливу масової культури (коміксової як її частини) на представлення повсякдення сучасних бізнес-процесів. Обмеження дослідження / Майбутні дослідження: Аналіз бізнес-процесів мовою графічної культури вимагає валідних методів. Подальші дослідження потребують більшої статистичної вибірки та вдосконалення міждисциплінарних методик.
Purpose: The modern development of mass culture is characterized by the growth of the market for graphic narratives, the rapid increase in the segment of digital comics, and the active use of comics as a communication tool in various industries and disciplinary areas. The purpose of the study: to determine the media capabilities of the comics in presenting educational, cross-cultural, problematic, and ethical content of modern organizational culture. Design / Method / Approach: The review nature of the article involves the use of traditional general scientific methods (description, comparison, abstraction, and specification). The interdisciplinary nature of the study actualized the comparative method in presenting the cross-cultural features of organizational/office/corporate comics. Findings: The influence of visual mass culture and the spread of interdisciplinary research tools made it possible to analyze three areas within the stated problematic: adaptive and audience-oriented comics techniques popularized their use for training and educational purposes; the possibility of comparing the typology of world comics with cross-cultural global studies (we relied on the methodology and results of the GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness) project); the ability of the comics to reproduce, maintain, and spread the tradition of a particular organizational culture. Theoretical value of the study: The work has expanded: (1) the possibilities of a multidisciplinary approach to comics culture in order to clarify the interdisciplinary methodology; (2) the idea of forming and maintaining an authentic organizational culture using comics techniques; (3) the possibilities of using graphic narratives in the process of educational and professional communication. Practical value of the study: The possibilities of using comics in modern organizational culture at the level of self-presentation, training, and maintaining traditions. Originality/value of the study: A multidirectional analysis of the influence of mass culture (comics as a part of it) on the representation of everyday modern business processes is presented. Research limitations / Future research: Analyzing business processes in the language of graphic culture requires valid methods. Further research requires a larger statistical sample and improved interdisciplinary methods.

Opis:: Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to study how the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic has affected the processes and performance management of medium-sized outpatient clinics in Poland. Given the novelty of the studied area and lack of relevant literature, the case study approach has been employed. Design/methodology/approach: The case study was performed at CortenMedic, a medium 17 sized outpatient clinic located in Poland. We analyzed materials obtained from CortenMedic and interviewed its management board. Following an in-depth restructuring of processes, performance management, and business processes management governance, the CortenMedic adjusted to an environment and has taken advantage of opportunities. Findings: As a result, the CortenMedic recognized outstanding results superior to those before the Sars-Cov-19 period. This study shows that the business processes management and performance management should be dynamic and follow the changes identified inside and outside the companies. The changes through Sars-Cov-19 appear very quickly and are of temporary nature. We postulate the threat of the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic can be converted by the healthcare organizations into an opportunity. Research limitations/implications: Several limitations of our research must be acknowledged. Firstly, we shall note we based our study on only one organization located in Poland. Since we do not compare our results with other Polish and European clinics, obtained in this study results might not be generalizable. Practical implications: The increased role of BPM governance in the pandemic period, as compliance with processes, especially with work safety standards, become of utmost importance, posing a thrill of infection otherwise. In this sense, the postulates of this study might be applicable to other healthcare services providers. Additionally, the results of the paper can provide guidance to a decision-maker or management staff through improving the structure of primary and secondary processes depending on the needs and expectations of a dynamic environment. Social implications: The article’s findings may still offer astute insights to researchers and practitioners who wish to consider more information regarding the importance of the BPM and PM in the healthcare sector through the business process restructuring. Originality/value: The added value of the article is the answer to the question study how the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic has affected the BPM and performance management (PM) of medium 6 sized outpatient clinics in Poland.

Opis:: Nowadays innovations became the most important element of the country’s economic development, since they provide a qualitative increase in the efficiency of processes or end production demanded by the market. In this article, the innovation of processes, viz. the processes of logistic management of the production-economic organization is proposed. Innovations in logistics management, as a direction of logistics activity improvement provide the development of new tools (methods, criteria, indices) in methodological logistics’ groundwork, as well as improving the mechanism for the formation and functioning of micro- and macro-logistic systems. The aim of the research is to develop scientific and methodological recommendations for the application of logistics management innovations that involve designing the logistics system through the improvement of the enterprise’s organizational structure as an element of the economic macro environment. Logistic system designing approach is suggested, that anticipates an enterprise’s organizational structure formation under the process-matrix principle (unification of functional and process management approaches) and the establishment of the effective enterprise’s logistic service that plays the role of coordinator and integrator of its business-processes. Efficient organization structure formation, that provides logistics approach implementation in practical enterprises’ activity is grounded by authors. The result of the innovations in logistics management appliance is effective logistic system’s design, in which the coordinated material, informational and financial flows motion is carried out. In the result, it ensures efficient enterprise’s business-processes functioning and organic improvement of its organizational structure.

Opis:: The aim of this paper is to discuss the concept of Routine Dynamics from the perspective of knowledge-intensive business processes. The traditional approach to business processes assumes control of the flow of well-structured activities that the organisation carries out to achieve its goals, and managing them focuses on their improvement through increased efficiency. However, an increasingly important role in the knowledge economy is played by knowledge-intensive business processes, which are highly dependent on human judgment, as well as real knowledge, which requires partially structured and unstructured decision-making. This demands a change in the approach to process management and its improvement, beyond efficiency only. It requires the use of the dynamism of process executors to create value by using and creating knowledge during the execution of pro-cesses. To illustrate this transformation, processes from the healthcare sector were used as a case study, as they encapsulate the limitations of the traditional approach to process management and the need to move to a dynamic one. As a result, two process models were presented, showing the need for a dynamic approach to health process management as a way to create and use rapidly changing knowledge, and to incorporate new technologies that not only increase the efficiency of processes (e.g. automate them), but above all create new knowledge, and use data on patients in real-time.

Opis:: W globalnych uwarunkowaniach klastry, w większym stopniu niż kiedykolwiek, zobligowane są do funkcjonowania na rynku międzynarodowym. Ewolucja otoczenia gospodarczego sprawia, że struktury te, a w szczególności ich podmioty-członkowie, chcąc podnosić swoją konkurencyjność i rozwijać się podejmują działania na rynkach globalnych, angażując się w międzynarodową współpracę. Stąd też istotnego znaczenia nabiera ich wsparcie w kierunku umiędzynarodowienia, które warunkuje ich funkcjonowanie i odniesienie sukcesu na rynku. Dlatego tak duże znaczenie pełni oferta działań wspierających ten proces zarówno na poziomie unijnym, jak i krajowym. Wsparcie to powinno dotyczyć szczególnie Krajowych Klastrów Kluczowych, o wyjątkowym znaczeniu dla kraju i regionów, w których funkcjonują. Celem artykułu jest próba ukazania istoty i funkcji struktury klastrowej będącej przykładem modelu biznesowego. W kolejnych częściach opracowania starano się przybliżyć pojęcie i klasyfikacje modeli biznesu oraz koncepcję modelu klastra międzynarodowego. Przedstawiono atuty internacjonalizacji struktur klastrowych, ponadto źródła finansowania i formy wsparcia tego procesu. Zaprezentowano przykłady kluczowych struktur klastrowych w Polsce, jak też Klaster „Dolina Lotnicza” w charakterze studium przypadku. W celu ukazania roli klastrów dla wzrostu efektywności, innowacyjności i konkurencyjności posłużono się wynikami badań własnych. Przeprowadzono je w 2015 roku wśród 80 przedsiębiorców-uczestników czterech klastrów rolno-spożywczych, jak też wśród 4 przedstawicieli instytucji zarządzających tymi klastrami na obszarze województwa podkarpackiego. W opracowaniu postawiono tezę, iż prawidłowo funkcjonujące struktury klastrowe przyczyniają się do wzrostu poziomu innowacyjności gospodarki oraz konkurencyjności podmiotów, niwelując nierówności ich rozwoju, zarówno na szczeblu lokalnym, regionalnym czy międzynarodowym.
In global conditions, clusters are obliged to operate on the international market to a greater extent than ever. Due to the evolution of the economic environment, these structures, and in particular their entities-members, wanting to increase their competitiveness and develop, take actions on global markets, and engage in international cooperation. Hence, their support towards internationalisation, which determines their functioning and success in the market, is of great importance. That is why the offer of activities supporting this process, both at the EU and national level, is so important. This support should apply in particular to Key National Clusters, which are of exceptional importance for the country and the regions in which they operate. The aim of the article is an attempt to show the essence and function of the cluster structure, which is an example of a business model. In the following parts of the study, attempts were made to introduce the concept and classification of business models and the concept of the international cluster model. The advantages of the internationalisation of cluster structures are presented, as well as the sources of financing and forms of support for this process. Examples of key cluster structures in Poland were presented, as well as the “Aviation Valley” Cluster as a case study. In order to show the role of clusters in increasing efficiency, innovation and competitiveness, the results of our own research were used. They were carried out in 2015 among 80 entrepreneurs participants of four agri-food clusters, as well as among 4 representatives of institutions managing these clusters in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The study puts forward the thesis that properly functioning cluster structures contribute to an increase in the level of innovation in the economy and the competitiveness of entities, eliminating the inequalities in their development, both at the local, regional and international levels.

Opis:: Business process management is a very important factor in assessing the effectiveness of production systems (entire enterprises or departments). And while the planning and management of business processes is mastered, it is difficult to create relationships between coexisting processes within one production system. Usually, business process management refers to extracted (isolated) processes, in this case relationships between different processes were looked for. This paper is devoted to the assessment and analysis of the interaction of business processes related to the implementation of one engineering project. The paper presents the results of research carried out in relation to four coexisting business processes in a manufacturing company - with assumption that the four analyzed business processes are located within one project. Business processes were defined on the basis of areas determined in the Big Picture analysis (in Value Stream Mapping analysis). As indicators of the impact of business process elements, the correlation coefficient was taken into account, the value of which determined the impact (or lack of impact) between the components of the various business processes. It has been noticed that the attributes from process 1 (Launching the project implementation) and process 2 (Scheduling and project management) show a very strong and strong correlation with the attributes in other processes 3 (Management and supply of materials) and 4 (Production and distribution). On the basis of the presented results, the critical points of the information / decision flow between the coexisting business processes have been indicated.
Zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi jest bardzo ważnym czynnikiem w ocenie efektywności systemów produkcyjnych (całych przedsiębiorstw lub działów). I o ile planowanie i zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi jest opanowane, trudno jest tworzyć relacje między współistniejącymi procesami w ramach jednego systemu produkcyjnego. Zazwyczaj zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi odnosi się do wyodrębnionych (wyizolowanych) procesów, w tym przypadku poszukiwano relacji pomiędzy różnymi procesami. Artykuł poświęcony jest ocenie i analizie interakcji procesów biznesowych związanych z realizacją jednego projektu inżynierskiego. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w odniesieniu do czterech współistniejących procesów biznesowych w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym - przy założeniu, że cztery analizowane procesy biznesowe są ulokowane w ramach jednego projektu. Procesy biznesowe zostały zdefiniowane na podstawie obszarów określonych w analizie Big Picture (w analizie Mapowania Strumienia Wartości). Jako wskaźniki wpływu elementów procesu biznesowego brano pod uwagę współczynnik korelacji, którego wartość określała wpływ (lub brak wpływu) pomiędzy komponentami różnych procesów biznesowych. Zauważono, że atrybuty z procesu 1 (Uruchomienie realizacji projektu) i procesu2 (Planowanie i zarządzanie projektami) wykazują bardzo silną i silną korelację z atrybutami w innych procesach 3 (Zarządzanie i dostawa materiałów) i 4 (Produkcja i dystrybucja). Na podstawie przedstawionych wyników wskazano krytyczne punkty przepływu informacji/decyzji pomiędzy współistniejącymi procesami biznesowymi.

Opis:: The article is devoted to the development of a multicomponent adaptive strategy for managing Russian high-tech enterprises in modern crisis conditions. Adaptability and flexibility are considered as the most important indicators of the efficiency of structures, their ability to ensure sustainable operation and effective innovative development of high-tech enterprises. A significant place in the article is devoted to possible approaches and methods of adaptive management of the enterprise in crisis, with the help of which changes in the internal and external environment are monitored, which can be expected and random, make current operational decisions that contribute to the achievement of pre-set goals based on correction of certain tasks. The questions about the quality of adaptation, adaptive characteristics of the structure and their consistency with the level and quality of adaptation of other elements of the enterprise, conjugation of adaptability and flexibility and pace of changes are considered. A number of modern techniques related to the development of strategies for the development of high-tech enterprises in crisis conditions are analyzed. The necessity of conducting a comprehensive accounting of the crisis as the main factor associated with the uncertainty of the external environment at the stage of strategic analysis is substantiated. There is an option, in which it is possible to include the crisis and its main characteristics into the strategic three competence model of the enterprise, as an additional controlled parameter. There is a general specificity of the formation of the strategy of a high-tech enterprise in conditions of risk and uncertainty.

Opis:: Niniejszy artykuł porusza tematy z zakresu analizy biznesowej, będącej podstawowym elementem funkcjonowania współczesnych organizacji. Celem tej publikacji jest przedstawienie i ocena czterech wybranych narzędzi do modelowania diagramów biznesowych w notacji BPMN. W ramach wprowadzenia do tematu scharakteryzowano procesy biznesowe, zdefiniowano ich analizę, a także przybliżono czytelnikowi notację BPMN i badane narzędzia. Zdefiniowano też metodykę badań i ich przebieg. Następnie przeprowadzone zostały badania zgodnie z przyjętą metodyką. Rezultatem tych prac były wyniki badań razem z analizą. Na koniec podsumowano przeprowadzone pomiary łącznie z wnioskami.
This article discusses topics in the field of business analysis, which is the basic element of the operation of modern organizations. The aim of this publication is to present and evaluate four selected tools for modeling business diagrams in BPMN notation. As part of the introduction to the topic, business processes were characterized, their analysis was defined, and the reader was introduced to the BPMN notation and the tested tools. The research methodology and its course were also defined. Then, the research was carried out in accordance with the adopted methodology. The conclusion of this work was the result of the research together with the analysis. Finally, the conducted experiments were summarized together with conclusions.

Opis:: The approach to applications integration for World Data Center (WDC) interdisciplinary scientific investigations is developed in the article. The integration is based on mathematical logic and artificial intelligence. Key elements of the approach – a multilevel system architecture, formal logical system, implementation – are based on intelligent agents interaction. The formal logical system is proposed. The inference method and mechanism of solution tree recovery are elaborated. The implementation of application integration for interdisciplinary scientific research is based on a stack of modern protocols, enabling communication of business processes over the transport layer of the OSI model. Application integration is also based on coordinated models of business processes, for which an integrated set of business applications are designed and realized.

The article presents selected practical aspects of implementing an integrated IT system for enterprise management. The implementation of an integrated IT system is a very difficult and complex IT project with a high risk of failure. The purpose of this article is to show the practical aspects that can minimize the potential risk in this type of project. An important aspect is the human factor, which is unpredictable and very complex. The aspects of lean manufacturing that have a significant impact on the management of a manufacturing enterprise by an integrated information system will be discussed.The author intentionally did not mention any specific integrated IT systems due to the willingness to present the discussed issues in an objective manner. The presented selected practical aspects result from several years of business experience that the author has.

The issue of developing a good request for proposal is very important in the process of conducting the tender, the effect of which is to be the purchase of an integrated IT system for enterprise management. The author's goal was to show selected mechanisms taking place in this process, paying attention to the key factors that are necessary to achieve success. Opis:: Every year approximately 70 million passenger cars are being produced and automotive industry is much bigger then just passenger cars. The impact of automotive industry on the environment is tremendous. From extracting raw materials through manufacturing and assembly processes, exploitation of the vehicle to the reprocessing irreversible, extensive environmental damage is done. The goal of this study is to show how implementing eco-design processes into supply chain management can reduce the impact of automotive industry on the environment by e.g. reducing the use of the fuel, increasing the use of recycled materials. Focus is on evaluation of current state, environmental impacts and potential improvements for design, raw materials, manufacturing and distribution and end-of-life phase.

Competition on the market forces companies to improve their effectiveness. Thus, every company uses various IT management systems to operate in a more efficient and competitive way. The purpose of IT systems that are implemented in companies is to accomplish their business processes. Business processes are a network of interrelated activities, procedures and tasks that are performed either sequentially or parallelly to transform inputs into outputs that are expected by customers. The article presents business processes in a present-day company that are accomplished with the use of integrated IT systems. The article also includes an assessment of the use of IT systems in business processes.
