    Opis:
    There are many electronic aids for blind people in both prototype and market state. Most of them use prerecorded voice commands or speech synthesizers and a headset as a user-device interface. In order not to jam acoustic signals from environment, in this paper the authors present a vibrating bracelet as a multipoint communication interface for a mobile safety system for blind people (MOBIAN). By using several vibrating motors and a vibrating signal modulation, more data, commands and alerts a blind user is able to recognize.
    Istnieje wiele urządzeń w postaci zarówno prototypów, jak i gotowych produktów, wspomagających osoby niewidome. Większość z nich używa syntezatora mowy albo nagranych komend głosowych oraz słuchawek jako interfejsu użytkownik-urządzenie. Aby nie zagłuszać sygnałów dźwiękowych dochodzących z otoczenia, autorzy stworzyli wibrującą bransoletę jako wielopunktowy interfejs komunikacyjny dla mobilnego systemu bezpieczeństwa dla osób niewidomych (MOBIAN). Poprzez użycie kilku wibratorów oraz modulację sygnału wibracji, osoba niewidoma jest w stanie zinterpretować więcej danych, komend i ostrzeżeń.

    Opis:
    The Metsamor site in the 2017 season was excavated in two areas. The main area was the so-called town area where several dwellings from the Early Iron Age were cleared. Evidence of violent site destruction included two human skeletons belonging most probably to victims of a sudden attack, left unburied after the town had been destroyed. The cemetery was the second investigated area. Exploration of kurgan XIX demonstrated that it had been looted. Nevertheless, some human remains and several artifacts in the form of bronze snake head bracelets were recorded inside the burial chamber.

    Opis:
    A The novelty of this study consists in the fact that, at the same time as the monitoring and acquisition of data of the air quality (from inside and outside), a monitoring and acquisition of data of the real-time biometric measurements of subjects exposed directly to the needle will be made. Medium by means of a bracelet attached to the subject's arm. This bracelet is designed to perform biometric measurements without creating discomfort to the subjects analyzed in the activities in which they are involved. This measurement is carried out with 9 different sensors for: pulse, oxygen in the blood, air flow (breathing), body temperature, electrocardiogram, galvanic skin response, blood pressure, the patient's position/movement, and the status of muscle (electromyography sensor). The data thus obtained will be focused on a PC and subsequently analyzed. The results of monitoring the health parameters of the subjects analyzed find application in the maritime field, to ships, especially in the engine room, where the air suffers quality transformations. The crew's return to the workplace may decrease due to the degradation of the air quality in the premises.

    Celem opracowania jest omówienie innowacji społecznej w obszarze systemów teleopieki dla seniorów, współtworzonych przez organizacje pozarządowe. Na przykładzie projektu „Małopolski Tele-Anioł” zaprezentowany został potencjał organizacji trzeciego sektora do aktywnego udziału w procesie świadczenia usług społecznych. Metodą badawczą wykorzystaną w badaniach jest opis wybranego przypadku, w oparciu o dostępną dokumentację projektową. Na podstawie analizy działań podejmowanych w tym obszarze na terenie Polski, przy wykorzystaniu środków finansowych dostępnych w ramach Regionalnych Programów Operacyjnych na lata 2014-2020, wybrano przykład, wyróżniający się swoją skalą. W pracy omówiono innowację społeczną w postaci usługi teleopiekuńczej dla seniorów, w proces świadczenia której zaangażowane są organizacje pozarządowe. Przedstawiona została kwestia podziału ról i zadań instytucji reprezentujących różne sektory, w tym podmiotów społecznych, w procesie świadczenia tej usługi. Projekt ten jest argumentem na rzecz rozszerzenia zaangażowania organizacji pozarządowych w proces świadczenia usług społecznych.
    The purpose of the paper is to present innovation in telehealth home care services system applications for seniors, co-created by non-governmental organizations. On the example of the „Małopolski Tele-Angel” project, authors present the potential of third sector organizations to be used in the process of providing social services. Based on available project documentation we develop a descriptive case study analysis of telehealth home care services for seniors, co-provided by nongovernmental organizations and co-implemented by the local government. Based on the analysis of actions taken in this area in Poland using the funds available under the Regional Operational Programs for 2014-2020, one specific example was chosen, which stands out due to its scale. The issue of roles and tasks in the process of assessing this service for institutions representing various sectors, including NGO’s, was presented. This project is an argument in favour of extending the use of a non-governmental organization in the process of servicing social services.

    In this paper the author offers an overview of hoards containing ornamental items, that is, jewellery, dress ornaments as well as ornaments used to decorate other artefacts. Je mapping of finds, starting with those from the second half of the 12th c., does not display any concentration in the discussed territory. However, there is quite a large concentration of deposits with ornaments in the southern borders, or actually beyond them—in Anhalt, Saxony-Wittenberg and in Thuringia (Fig. 1). When the finds are arranged chronologically, it turns out that deposits which were hidden in the period from c. 1360 to c. 1500 are the most numerous. Earlier hoards, however, are much richer in decorative artefacts. In later deposits such artefacts are either single specimens or their number is limited to but a few finds. There are occasional hoards dated back to the Early Middle Ages (to c. 1070) containing ornaments only or ornaments and non-monetary silver (in the form of clumps and bars). However, from the second half of the 12KP c. onwards there are no finds which contain ornamental items only. Although there are ornaments in deposits with bars (Gusskönige), they are accompanied by coins. An overwhelming majority of the ornamental items was made from silver. From the 13th c. onwards, gilding appears on the silver artefacts. Je technique of gilding is commonly used in silver jewellery artefacts from the 14th and 15th c. A silver ring from the hoard from Bardowick is ornamented in the niello technique. Gold artefacts occur very rarely, and it seems that they appear as single finds only. Bronze artefacts are truly unique. Specimens from the 14th and 15th c. are ornamented with semi-precious stones, a glass mass and enamel, while pearls are found sporadically. Amber does not occur in the discussed territory; on the other hand, it is known from small artefacts in other parts of Europe (e.g., from the Austrian hoard in Fuchsenhof, c. 1275–1278). Je assortment of ornamental artefacts for decoration of the body (jewellery) and of dress is quite similar to that from the present time. It encompasses rings (often with eyelets), annuli and signet rings, brooches used as clasps, buckles and the fittings of belts, knobs used as buttons, but also as dress ornaments, fittings (thin metal sheets with openings, used to ornament dresses, purses and caskets) in the shape of round and heraldic shields, or heraldic eagles and lions. In some hoards there are large numbers of buckles (some of these are similar to brooches, somewhat resembling fibulae). Crosses-pendants, earrings and hair pins are not common. Items of cutlery are rather sporadically found (silver spoons and silver fittings for knife handles). The largest hoards are known from the territory of the Wendic Hansa and they were discovered in urban areas. "ere is no doubt that these were gathered by members of the patriciate. On the other hand, rich hoards with gold artefacts are known from the Rhineland, but also from Erfurt in Thuringia and from Środa Śląska.
