Do oceny jakości wody rzecznej zastosowano systemy biotyczne BMWP-PL, ASPT i OQR. Przeanalizowano trzy składowe struktury biocenoz, tj. bogactwo gatunkowe, strukturę dominacji oraz zagęszczenie. Wyniki badań wykazały duże zróżnicowanie gatunkowe fauny makrobezkręgowej na poszczególnych stanowiskach badawczych rozmieszczonych wzdłuż analizowanej rzeki, zależnie od jakości fizyczno-chemicznej wody.
The investigations were conducted on the Pilawa, a tributary to the river Bystrzyca (Lower Silesia), at 8 sampling sites located along the river of interest from the riverhead to the point of confluence with the Bystrzyca. The sites were planned in such a way that made them differ in the level of water pollution. Riverine water and bottom sediments were made subject to analysis for the content of heavy metals (Cr, Zn, Cd, Co, Mn, Cu, Ni, Pb and Fe) and the presence of nitrogen, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulfur compounds, followed by the analysis of the problem of how the type and quantity of the pollutants affected the macroinvertebrates' biocoenosis. The quality of riverine water was assessed using the biotic systems BMWP-PL, ASPT and OQR. Three components of the biocoenosis structure were analyzed, taxa richness, dominance structure, and density. The results have revealed considerable differences in the taxa of the macroinvertebrates' fauna between the sampling sites, which depended on the physicochemical quality of the water sampled. - Źródło:
