Opis:
Począwszy od połowy lat 90. XX w. w Polsce zauważalny jest proces intensyfikacji ruchu drogowego, objawiający się przede wszystkim wzrostem liczebności eksploatowanych środków transportu drogowego. Rozwojowi ruchu drogowego towarzyszą negatywne zjawiska, w postaci zatorów płynności potoków ruchu oraz wzrostu liczby szkód komunikacyjnych. Niniejsze opracowanie stanowi próbę analizy przyczynowości szkód komunikacyjnych, wynikających z charakterystyki układu pojazd-kierowca.
Starting from the 1990s a significant increase and modernisation of road traffic vehicles used can be observed. There are, however, some negative aspects of this development such as congestions of the traffic flow and road traffic damages.This document aims at verifying the legitimacy of a view that a description of the causes of road traffic damages is a parameter of systems vehicle and driver.

Opis:
The aim of the paper is to present the principles of development and evaluation of educational programs and teaching aids assigned for school education of children in the range of road safety. The basis for developing road safety educational programs is determining the goals resulting from analysis of road accident data, dangers, behaviour observations and development stages of specific traffic participants, and also needs (expectations) of the society. It is crucial for these programs to have a modular structure, which enables the realization of each module by different persons, or the exchange of particular module without the necessity of changing the whole program. Classes in the field of forming skills and behaviours should be organized in the real road traffic. Road safety educational programs and teaching aids should be the subject of evaluation with the use of adequate methods and research tools, such as: inquiry, questionnaire, knowledge testing, risk awareness testing, behaviour testing, behaviour observations, road accidents data in order to maintain effectiveness and minimize the time, effort and costs regarding elaboration and implementation. Questions, which need to be answered at the evaluation stage, depend on whether the evaluation is connected with full implementation of the program or with the program in the elaboration stage and also on the stage of its elaboration. At the early stages of program's elaboration simple evaluation on small scale is crucial, while for the implemented programs or fully elaborated ones it is inevitable to have broader evaluation at applying criteria regarding behaviours and accidents. Currently, since children's education in the field of road traffic safety can be realized in schools based on the programs that have been accepted by the Ministry of National Education as well as based on the authorial programs designed by teachers, it is necessary to comply with the specific procedures and principles at development and implementation stages.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki prób zastosowania sieci neuronowej typu MLP do określania stanu deformacji nadwozia pojazdu samochodowego, będącej skutkiem kolizji drogowej. Jako parametr badawczy przyjęto rozmiar szkody określony pracą deformacji nadwozia pojazdu poszkodowanego Wdef. Dodatkowo sprawdzono przydatność sieci MLP do określenia rozmiaru szkody komunikacyjnej będącej skutkiem kolizji drogowej. Jako parametr badawczy przyjęto rozmiar szkody określony współczynnikiem zależnym od kosztu naprawy uszkodzonego pojazdu oraz jego wartości rynkowej. Elementy mechanizmu zdarzenia szkodowego determinujące rozmiar szkody stanowiły czynniki wewnętrzne układu, tj. cechy techniczne pojazdów, cechy osobnicze kierujących, wpływ czynników atmosferycznych oraz lokalizacji czasowo-przestrzennej zdarzenia. Badaniem objęto tysiąc przypadków zgłoszonych w celu likwidacji w śląskim oddziale jednego z zakładów ubezpieczeń. W przeprowadzonych badaniach sprawdzono również działanie sieci neuronowych dla ograniczonej liczby danych wejściowych.
In the article the attempt to use the MLP neural network to define the state of the motor-car body deformation as a result of road collision was presented. As the research parameter the size of damage of the car of the aggrieved party was assumed, defined by the work of the motor-car body deformation Wdef. Additionally the usefulness of the MLP network to define the size of traffic damage being a result of a road collision was checked. As the research parameter the size of the damage was assumed, defined by the coefficient dependent on the cost of the damaged car repair and its market value. The elements of the mechanism of the damaging event determining the size of the damage were the interior factors of the system, that is, the technical features of the vehicles, the personal character features of the drivers, the influence of the weather conditions and the location of the event in time and space. The research was conducted on one thousand cases submitted to liquidate in the Silesian branch of one of the insurance companies. In the conducted research the functioning of the neural network for limited amount of initial data was checked.
