Opis:: Social policy as well as change of people’s mentality in Poland eliminated or mitigated some of barriers to integration. Nevertheless the disabled are still one of the disfavoured social groups. These barriers exist in labour market, in urban architecture, in social attitudes towards disable people. It is shown in this article how a stereotype of disable person has been changed for over last twenty years and how difficult is to grasp the scale of discrimination. Social perception of disability is diversified through different situation in which they are in and through different situation the other people are in. In order to present this diversity the life course perspective was adopted. For young disabled and their parents the crutial question is how broadly and how friendly the educational system is open for them, for adults – the labour market, the reliant seniors have to face another problems. On the other hand changes in social opinions and the role of media, NGO-s, local government are presented here. The empirical basement of the article are various existing data collected by official state institutions, organizations, sociological surveys and studies.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie znaczenia integracji taryfowej, która jest odpowiedzią na rosnące potrzeby transportu zbiorowego na obszarze metropolitalnym. Celem integracji taryfowej jest poprawa atrakcyjności oferty transportu zbiorowego, co przyczynia się do zwiększania jego udziału w podróżach. Omówione zostały założenia i możliwości prawne wprowadzenia integracji taryfowej. Zwrócono również uwagę na wady i zalety jednolitej taryfy na terenach miejskich. Zintegrowany system taryfowy pokazano, dokonując charakterystyki funkcjonowania Komunalnego Związku Komunikacyjnego Górnośląskiego Okręgu Przemysłowego wraz z porównaniem do funkcjonującego w aglomeracji gdańskiej Metropolitalnego Związku Komunikacyjnego Zatoki Gdańskiej. Przedstawiono również historyczny zarys i czynniki, które wpłynęły na obecny kształt oferty taryfowej w obszarze aglomeracji. Ponadto przedstawiono istotę integracji taryfowej w Trójmieście ze szczególnym naciskiem na rolę Szybkiej Kolei Miejskiej, będącej kręgosłupem systemu transportu zbiorowego w aglomeracji. Jako uzupełnienie scharakteryzowano innowacyjne rozwiązania ułatwiające zarządzanie taryfą zintegrowaną oraz ułatwiające użytkownikom korzystanie z transportu zbiorowego.
This article is focused to present significance of tariff integration, which is important issue of public transport operation in metropolitan areas. The aim of tariff integration is to improve the attractiveness of public transport, which contributes with increase of share of modal split. Assumptions and legal conditions, which enable integration, are discussed. Advantages and disadvantages of a uniform tariff in urban areas have been presented. Integration tariff system solution implemented in the Komunalny Związek Komunikacyjny Górnośląskiego Okręgu Przemysłowego has been compared to the one operating in the Gdańsk agglomeration in the Metropolitalny Związek Komunikacyjny Zatoki Gdańskiej. Also a historical overview and factors that have been shapingd current tariff offer in the agglomeration have been presented. Tariff integration in the Tri-City agglomeration (Trójmiasto) with the emphasis on the role of Szybka Kolej Miejska (Rapid Urban Train) which is the backbone of traffic system in this agglomeration has been presented. Further innovative solutions to improve managing of the integrated tariff and facilitating use of public transport by passengers have been characterised.

Opis:: The National Policy on Forests and the National Programme for the Augmentation of Forest Cover indicate regional needs, possibilities, legal and financial principles of afforestations as the most important elements of the improvement and maintenance of a good state of the country's environment. The documents put emphasis on the need for the establishment and restoration of afforestations between fields, however, neither the guidelines for their legal and administrative status nor sources of financing have been indicated. In many regions of the country, the large−scale afforestation are almost impossible, because high−quality soils are under agricultural production and the local communities lack the alternative means of living. Thus, the mid−field afforestations of a linear or small−surface type could be the only elements differentiating the landscape structure and acting as biogeochemical barriers. Their network perform the same complementary protective functions as forests or other semi−natural ecosystems. With a view to economising expenditures and intensifying effects aiming at the environment protection it is necessary to closely integrate the countryside environmental programmes including the establishment of biogeochemical barriers and afforestations. The principles of such integration and co−ordination of pro−ecological programmes of the landscape structure management should be laid down under a separate research project.
