Opis:: Since many years it is observed a growing influence of the universities and other research institutions on technique and economy. The increasing importance of knowledge is activating development of new forms of cooperation between science and economy. One of these forms is academic entrepreneurship. The article presents the definition of entrepreneurship, especially academic entrepreneurship and also barriers and opportunities to the development of academic entrepreneurship in Poland.

Opis:: Celem zaprezentowanych w artykule treści jest ukazanie rozmiarów korzyści oraz barier i ograniczeń związanych z używaniem faktur elektronicznych w obrocie gospodarczym przez polskie przedsiębiorstwa. Autorka przedstawiła też uwarunkowania prawne dotyczące wykorzystywania e-faktur. Przepisy prawa podatkowego w ostatnich latach zostały znacznie uproszczone, aby zachęcić przedsiębiorców do wprowadzania w firmach faktur elektronicznych. Wyniki różnorodnych dostępnych badań oraz opinie ekspertów, które autorka poddała analizie potwierdzają, że polscy przedsiębiorcy mają wysoką świadomość korzyści, jakie może przynieść wprowadzenie e-faktur, ale jednocześnie mają obawy przed zagrożeniami, które skutecznie zniechęcają firmy do wprowadzania elektronicznych faktur. W Polsce brakuje też jednego wzoru e-faktury oraz oprogramowań, które pozwoliłyby firmom na pełne wykorzystanie korzyści płynących z wprowadzenia elektronicznych faktur.
The aim of the content presented in the article is to show the size, the benefits and limits the use of electronic invoices in the course of trade by Polish companies. The author also presented the legal conditions for the use of e-invoices. Tax laws in recent years have been considerably simplified in order to encourage entrepreneurs to introduce electronic invoices in companies. Results variety of existing data and expert opinions that the author has analyzed confirms that Polish entrepreneurs have a high awareness of the benefits they can give to introduce e-invoicing, but at the same time they fear the threats that effectively discourage firms to introduce electronic invoices. In Poland there is also a pattern of e-invoices, as well as software that would allow companies to realize the full benefits of the introduction of electronic invoices.

Opis:: The present article deals with the legal regime in Shanghai Free Trade Zone in the context of business activity taken up by foreign (Polish) entities on the territory of the People’s Republic of China. First of all, the author discusses the general problems in international exchange between Poland and the PRC as well as the chief barriers in access to the Chinese market. The following section of the article is devoted to the general legal provisions that apply to foreign businesses in the Middle Kingdom. Part three discusses preliminary issues related to Shanghai Free Trade Zone with regard to partnerships and companies established by foreign entities. The final section concerns the legislative simplifications in the Free Trade Zone as compared with the general regulations which apply to foreign (Polish) businesses in the PRC. The conclusion features an evaluation of the simplifications and their attractiveness for Polish businesses.

Opis:: Poland possess geothermal energy resources suitable for direct implementation, especially in a wide heating sector. However, adequate legal provisions and financial instruments are necessary as a basis for its development. The paper presents main legal and financial barriers that hamper geothermal development in Poland as well as necessary amendments and new tools proposed by professionals – scientists and practitioners involved in geothermal sector. The proposals take into account the proven solutions which have been successfully implemented in other EU countries (e.g. France and Germany) for many years . They shall be followed while introducing adequate changes in Poland. Furthermore, the changes and amendments of some legal provisions and principles of financial support initiated by some ministries and governmental agencies for geothermal projects. These proposals, when considered jointly with the initiatives coming from geothermal sector, shall initiate wider geothermal development and shall also contribute to the realization of national energy strategy as well as country's international obligations on renewable energy sources uses' increase in Poland.
