    The race for dominance between the hallmark of systems of surveillance, command and control on the one hand, and the time and the reliability of the information on the other hand, has led to a condition, where manual supported reconnaissance measures are not keeping up with the development of other techniques of transfer and reconnaissance. The most significant role in this race is played by the time, the synchronization of many repetitive actions, the reliability of the information passing on to the decision-making centres and the possibility of collecting, gathering and processing the information by computer systems. Therefore, the factors which determine the reconnaissance have begun to play a dominant role. Technological development allowed to build automated systems what in regard to reconnaissance is important. Object of the article will be the identification results obtained as a result of solving the problem defined in the form of a question: What are the current trends in the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces reconnaissance? The characteristics of military intelligence under consideration in eight problem areas that determine its development.

    W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję sterowania nadrzędnego maszyn górniczych opartego na sterowaniu rozproszonym, z wykorzystaniem procedur sterowania suboptymalnego. Przedstawiono założenia sterowania optymalnego oraz próbę jego zastosowania do sterowania rozproszonego odstawą urobku wykorzystując układy transportu poziomego.
    The paper presents a concept of a master control of mining machines based on a fuzzy control using the procedures of a sub-optimal control. There have been presented guidelines for optimal control and an attempt at its application for a fuzzy control of transport of mined rock using horizontal transport systems.

    W pracy przedstawiono zautomatyzowany system do przestrzennego obrazowania wektorowego pola akustycznego. Omówiono podstawy jego funkcjonowania wraz z implementacją Zawarto dyskusję dot. optymalizacji stosowanych algorytmów w celu ich przystosowywania do pracy na jednostkach obliczeniowych różnej mocy. Zaprezentowano wizualizacje dla dwóch modeli wykonane za pomocą nowego systemu oraz przeanalizowano osiągnięty zysk czasowy wynikający z jego użycia w porównaniu z systemem wcześniej stosowanym.
    In the paper an automatised system for spatial visualisation of the vector acoustic field is presented. There is discussed the theoretical basis of vector acoustic field visualization based on a vector parameter which is the sound intensity (formula (1)). The measuring method and practical implementation of the system which uses an intensity probe - Microflown USP are described. The presented system was created using the LabVIEW programming environment as two virtual instruments. The first virtual instrument integrates the acquisition and positioning blocks based on a DAQ card and a translating unit driver ISEL. The second instrument is responsible for converting the pressure and velocity components into the vector of sound intensity. This part is the most computationally complex operation performed by the system. The paper includes a discussion about optimisation of the used algorithms in order to adapt them to work on different class computing machines. There is proposed a serial and parallel solution of computing the sound intensity (Fig. 1). At the end of the paper a sample visualisation carried out by the new system for two models

    Opis:
    This paper describes the problems and an adaptive solution for process control in rubber industry. We show that the human and economical benefits of an adaptive solution for the approximation of process parameters are very attractive. The modeling of the industrial problem is done by the means of artificial neural networks. For the example of the extrusion of a rubber profile in tire production our method shows good resuits even using only a few training samples.

    Opis:
    This article discusses the issue of the preparation of the foundry moulds with the use of an industrial robot. The methodology is presented for the determination of the process capacity index for placing inserts with flat and cylindrical faces. On the basis of the relationships developed, the process capability indices were determined at various points in the workspace, which are characterised by different values of the repeatability positioning error. It was shown that the value of the process capacity index can be increased by the selection of a suitable location for the process of placing the inserts in the workspace. It should also be noted that the value of the process's capability index depends on the selection of the place in the robot workspace where the process is carried out. Implementation of the joining process at an analysed point in the robot workspace leads to an increase of the process capability index MCp for inserts with flat faces up to 1.1 (+4.5%) and for inserts with cylindrical faces up to 1.3. This results in an increase of 13% to a level corresponding to the global standard for process reliability (MCp = 1.33).

    Cel, jaki postawiła sobie autorka artykułu, zakładał scharakteryzowanie pod względem ilościowym piśmiennictwa polskiego tematycznie związanego z problematyką komputeryzacji bibliotek w Polsce, określenie dynamiki jego wzrostu na przestrzeni ostatniego półwiecza oraz przedstawienie charakterystyki ilościowej – szczegółowych zagadnień, które były przedmiotem publikacji do końca 2017 r. Zastosowana została metoda bibliometryczna, a źródłem danych do analiz bibliometrycznych była „Polska Bibliografia Bibliologiczna” (PBB). Badanie pozwoliło określić, kiedy w polskim piśmiennictwie bibliologicznym i informatologicznym zaczęły pojawiać się pierwsze publikacje na temat automatyzacji bibliotek oraz jak kształtowała się dynamika wzrostu piśmiennictwa w tym obszarze w latach 1970–2009. Z zagadnień szczegółowych oznaczono jedynie publikacje nt. katalogów online, bibliotek cyfrowych i Internetu w bibliotekarstwie. Badanie pozwoliło również zidentyfikować czynniki, które utrudniały lub wręcz uniemożliwiały przeprowadzenie – niezbędnych dla otrzymania wiarygodnych wyników – analiz bibliometrycznych. Praca została wzbogacona o elementy analizy „Polskiej Bibliografii Bibliologicznej” pod kątem jej przydatności jako źródła do badań bibliometrycznych omawianej problematyki.
    One planned to present a quantitative description of the Polish literature which is thematically associated with the problems of the computerisation of libraries in Poland; to define the dynamics of its growth across the span of the last fifty years and to identify – and to provide a quantitative description thereof – of the particular problems which were the subject of the publication until the end of 2017. One applied a bibliometrical method, and the source of data for the bibliometrical analyses was constituted by the “Polish Bibliological Bibliography” (PBB). The study enabled one to determine the time when the bibliological and informatological literature saw the emergence of the first publications which are thematically associated with the problems of the automatisation of libraries and how the dynamics of the growth of the literature in this field occurred in the years 1970–2009. As far as the particular problems are concerned, one indicated only the publications devoted to online catalogues, digital libraries and the Internet in library science. The study also facilitated the identification of factors which hindered or even precluded bibliometrical analyses – the latter were necessary for the obtaining of reliable results. The work was enhanced by the elements of the analysis of the “Polish Bibliological Bibliography” in terms of its utility as a source for bibliometrical research in the problems which are discussed.
