Opis:
From a management perspective, water quality is determined by the desired end use. Water intended for leisure, drinking water, and the habitat of aquatic organisms requires higher levels of purity. In contrast, the quality standards of water used for hydraulic energy production are much less important. The main objective of this work is focused on the development of an evaluation system dealing with supervised classification of the physicochemical quality of the water surface in the Moulouya River through the use of artificial intelligence. A graphical interface under Matlab 2015 is presented. The latter makes it possible to create a classification model based on artificial neural networks of the multilayer perceptron type (ANN-MLP). Several configurations were tested during this study. The configuration [9 8 3] retained gives a coefficient of determination close to the unit with a minimum error value during the test phase. This study highlights the capacity of the classification model based on artificial neural networks of the multilayer perceptron type (ANN-MLP) proposed for the supervised classification of the different water quality classes, determined by the calculation of the system for assessing the quality of surface water (SEQ-water) at the level of the Moulouya River catchment area, with an overall classification rate equal to 98.5% and a classification rate during the test phase equal to 100%.

Specific conditions in urban areas favour large species richness, these are also places prone to the anthropogenic pressure. As a result, many studies on aquatic habitats in urban ecosystems have been carried out. The aim of this study was to investigate the diversity of diatom assemblages developing in artificial environment in relation to water chemical parameters. The study was performed on a small water outflow in south-eastern Poland, which started in the storm sewage. The water at the studied sites was characterized by alkaline pH and low content of nutrients. The values of other chemical parameters were highly variable, depending on the research season. A total of 113 taxa were identified in five research seasons; most of them prefer circumneutral and fertile habitats, with a high content of biogens and are tolerant to water pollutions. Aerophytic and terrestrial taxa were observed in the analyzed materials in high diversity.

The article presents selected results of research on the modeling of humanoid robots, including the results of neural modeling of human gait and its implementation in the environment MATLAB and Simulink with the use of Deep Learning Toolbox. The subject of the research was placed within the scope of the available literature on the subject. Then, appropriate research experiments on human movement along a given trajectory were developed. First, the method of measuring the parameters present in the experiment was established, i.e. input quantities (displacement of the left heel, displacement of the right heel) and output quantities (displacement of the measurement point of the human body in space). Then, research experiments were carried out, as a result of which numerical data were measured in order to use them for teaching and testing the Artificial Neural Network. The Perceptron Artificial Neural Network architecture was used to build a model of a neural human walk along a given trajectory. The obtained results were discussed and interpreted, drawing a number of important conclusions.

The article tries to develop a theoretical and methodological basis for modeling human being's artificial environment in spaceships. The author, as a founder of "cosmic sozopsychology" understands this as a subdiscipline of sozopsychology, underlines the necessity to build a safety barrier to maintain and protect human life in an extreme cosmic environment. It demands a very detailed knowledge of man ecology including upper and bottom limits of tolerance for stressful factors existing in space. These aims are very useful for flight simulators. Among others, there are very important so-called "ecological imitators" of human work and human existence on board spaceships. The detailed knowledge of all stress factors has systematic character, including objective and subjective interactions within the human-environment system.

This paper presents the idea of using machine learning techniques to simulate and demonstrate learning behaviour in ship manoeuvring. Simulated model of ship is treated as an agent, which through environmental sensing learns itself to navigate through restricted waters selecting an optimum trajectory. Learning phase of the task is to observe current state and choose one of the available actions. The agent gets positive reward for reaching destination and negative reward for hitting an obstacle. Few reinforcement learning algorithms are considered. Experimental results based on simulation program are presented for different layouts of possible routes within restricted area.

Opis:
Thermal comfort is an important parameter of indoor climate, which affects office worker health and productivity, and also aids planning for energy efficient building design and operation. To provide satisfactory thermal comfort in office workplaces under hot and humid outdoor conditions, most contemporary office buildings in Vietnam are fitted with ducted air-conditioning systems. The current Vietnamese standard TCXDVN 306:2004 for indoor climate was derived from thermal comfort research conducted between the 1960s and 1980s. This standard is limited by various drawbacks, including no distinction between natural or artificial environments. In response, this 2018 research provides physical measurements and opinion surveys of current indoor climatic conditions in representative office workplaces in three regions of Vietnam: North, Central and South. The measurement results have been transformed into ET, PMV and PPD indicators, which value demonstrate the shortcomings of the TCXDVN 306:2004 standard, while providing a baseline input for updating this standard to meet the thermal comfort needs of air-conditioned office workplaces, based on the concept of probability comfort, which are integral with the ISO and the ASHRAE standard.
