    Opis:
    Artists and scholars have long been interested in the relations between art and science. However, on account of the diverse and transgressive nature of these relations, they may escape attempts to classify them in accord with the traditional divisions of academic disciplines, which are so characteristic of contemporary times. These divisions also prove inadequate for consideration of the rapid technological and socio-cultural changes destabilizing the mutually autonomous territories of art and science. The author thus attempts to respond to the need for new conceptual frames that will allow the existing forms of collaboration between artists and scholars to be revealed and systematized in a more cross-sectional and reflective manner. For this purpose she proposes a new typology—a model organizing phenomena in which art combines with science.

    The article shows the history of an original Project –International Academic Conference that for almost eleven years has met with great resonance in academic circles: the Project highlights the most interesting issues in art in the context of the integration of interdisciplinary research in the humanities as well as the social sciences. This year the Conference has acquired an unprecedented scope. More than 100 people from twelve countries took part in it (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, USA). But the most striking were the topics “The New Trends in Academic Work and Education in the Humanities: Russia vs Foreign Countries”, “The Image of Art in Classical and Modern Art – an Interdisciplinary Angle of Research”, “Art History, Philology and Linguistics – Points of Intersection in the Context of Perspectives of Creating the Single Scientific Expanse”, “Psychological Methods in the Science of Art – Perspective Research Models”, “Concept vs Context in Art and Other Humanities”, “Source Studies and Textology in Modern Art Research in the Context of Other Humanities”, “Mass Media and Cinema in a Philosophical and Cultural Context: Methods of Creating a New Reality in Modern Society”, “Opera Theater and Jazz: Expanding the Space of Artistic Phenomena”, “Scientometrics in Art Criticism and other Areas of Humanitarian Knowledge: Perception of the Newest Data by Traditional Academic Consciousness in the Context of Systemic Improvement Research”, “Art and Culture in the Context of Legal Regulation in Different Spheres of Public Life”, etc. In general, the Project has become one of the most promising scientific events integrating the humanities and social disciplines. This provides the comprehensive study of the art in the life of society in the context of improving the conscience of humankind.

    Artykuł prezentuje projekt humanistyki węglowej – wielodziedzinowego obszaru wiedzy na temat węgla, uwzględniającego zdobycze geologii czy górnictwa, przedstawiane z perspektywy refleksji na temat relacji ludzko-nie-ludzkich, ulokowanych w studiach nad energią i posthumanistyce. Na tym tle autorka analizuje najpierw najczęstsze reprezentacje węgla w sztuce i literaturze, związane z przemysłem, by pokazać, że w połowie XX wieku próbowano odejść od nich i stworzyć w poezji oraz malarstwie polskim refleksję krytyczną, będącą reakcją na forsowne wydobywanie węgla, ważne dla polskiej gospodarki i polityki. Przykładów przedstawień kontrindustrialnych „zielonego węgla” dostarczają obrazy górnika z KWK „Moszczenica”, Ludwika Holesza, oraz teksty poety Bolesława Lubosza, urodzonego w Tarnowskich Górach. Obaj artyści tworzą wizje przyrody karbońskiej, próbują ożywić węgiel i zobaczyć w nim coś więcej niż surowiec, np. istotę nieludzką, roślinę, elementy organiczne.
    The article presents the project of coal humanities, a multidisciplinary area of knowledge about coal, which takes into account the achievements in geology and mining, presented from the perspective of human-non-human relations, and located in energy and post-human studies. Against this background, the author first analyses the most common representations of coal in art and literature, related to industry, to show that in the mid-twentieth century, attempts were made to depart from them and create a critical reflection in Polish poetry and painting, which would be a reaction to the forced mining of coal, important for Polish economy and politics. Examples of counter-industrial representations of “green coal” are provided by the paintings of a miner from KWK “Moszczenica,” Ludwik Holesz, and the poet Bolesław Lubosz, born in Tarnowskie Góry. Both artists create visions of Carboniferous nature, try to revive coal and see something more than a raw material in it, e.g. a non-human being, a plant, and organic elements.

Powrót do pedagogiki kultury w Polsce po 1995r i dalsze drogi rozwoju - Pedagogika kultury i jej humanistyczno-antropologiczny charakter - Znaczące publikacje zwarte i ośrodki akademickie wyróżniające się w propagowaniu pedagogiki kultury różnie pojmowanej - Rozważania końcowe. Racjonalne łączenie teorii i praktyki warunkiem efektywnej edukacji i dalszego rozwoju humanistyczno-antropologicznej pedagogiki kultury otwartej na zwielokrotniony „świat rzeczywisty” i „świat symboliczny. Ten podtytuł, uzasadniony w rozważaniach podsumowujących , należy traktować jako główną tezę artykułu
    This paper - as stated in the title - covers theory, research and practice of cultural pedagogy in Poland, especially at the beginning of 3rd decade of 21st century. It consists of 2 parts concerning the following issues: History until the end of 20th century Tradition, origin, subject and philosophical assumptions Cultural pedagogy in the interwar period in Poland Cultural pedagogy as a humanistic pedagogy after 2nd World War 2. Return of cultural pedagogy after 1995 and it’s further development Cultural pedagogy, it’s humanistic-anthropological character Important publications and academic centers which popularize cultural pedagogy Summary Connecting theory and practice is a requirement for effective education and development of humanistic-anthropological cultural pedagogy which is open to „real world” and „symbolic world”. The last statement, justified in the Summary, is the main thesis of this paper.
