Opis:: The purpose of this work is to analyze the persuasion which characterizes therapeutic advice and its collaborative goal. It is observed that this type of advice seems to be more effective when it is not limited to a mere scientific demonstration, but it considers also all the interlocutor’s subjective aspects. The study is supported by examples from a little corpus of transcribed real doctor-patient dialogues, collected and analyzed in a previous research work of the author. The research examines the principal arguments, argumentative figures and silences.

Opis:: The aim of this paper is to analyse metaphors in German public discourse in the environmental issues and energy policy. The metaphorical expressions, which appear as the key concepts in this discourse and evoke certain cognitive frames, will be examined carefully. By the means of these metaphorical frames, there are structured argumentative topoi which will be de ned and clari ed in this paper. Therefore, the objective of the analysis is to study the key concepts from the frame-based point of view in order to reveal the argumentative topoi.

Opis:: The author presents her current research project dealing with the argumentation of written interactions that appeared in cyberspace. They focus on the activities of the artist, humorist, political activist Dieudonné M’Bala M’Bala in France and, in Poland, around the activities of the journalist, philo-semitic performer Rafal Betlejewski. The common point of these discourses is that they trigger argumentative mechanisms that are part of the anti-Semitic attitudes of the interacting subjects. It demonstrates how the methodologies of French-speaking linguists can be useful for the argumentative analysis of such a difficult textual corpus.

Opis:: In the last few years, the Deutsche Bank was facing difficulties which were regularly conceptualised by the international media. The aim of this paper is to study the meaning of the crisis and the role of the Deutsche Bank in the financial turmoil during the “discursive moment” initiated on February 8, 2016, as it was built by the French and Polish general press. On the basis of several articles published in six daily newspapers, we undertake a semantic analysis of nominal noun phrases referring to the current situation, and of the preferential discursive functioning of the chrematonyme Deutsche Bank.
