The main aim of this paper is to examine the presence of the strict liability category in the legal system of the Latin Catholic Church. According to the correct understanding of the objective responsibility in the legislation of modern states, the Author, after having considered profound analysis concerning the offices’ duties of the hierarchical Superior, studied the specific content of the can. 128 CIC/1983 and indicated it as the benchmark in order to establish possible, not only theoretical, answer of the problem. The research has found that, it is highly probable to assign some negative consequences (a real responsibility) to ecclesial Superiors even without their fault.

Opis:
In this paper some aspects of 2009 strong earthquake in Abruzzo Region have been analysed. First of all a reflection on the causes of so big disaster induced to evaluate a strong vulnerability of masonry due to typology of its texture and poor mortars. A second topic examined is the advancement of first aid to collapsing building: new materials, new structural systems and recent mechanical lifting de- vices made this chapter totally different from previous ones relative to past earthquakes in middle Italy. Last part is devoted to the problem of Re- Construction: seems consistent to rebuild the monument with a reinforced masonry, named "banded masonry" to reduce drastically the vulnerability of constructions, preserving the peculiar character.

Opis:
On January 25, 2020, Pope Francis received an annual audience of judges and other employees of the Roman Rota in connection with the inauguration of the new judicial year. After the speech of the dean mentioned, the Holy Father gave an occasional allocation. This time, the subjects of the papal speech departed from the traditional problems associated with strictly canonist issues, most often referring to specific titles of marriage annulment or tasks of a judge in a marriage annulment process. The Holy Father took up the topic of a more pastoral nature, concerning the need to shape spiritually mature Christian spouses who would support pastors in the work of evangelizing the family. The „heroes” of Francis allocation are the extraordinary spouses of the ancient Church era: Aquila and Priscilla, faithful companions of Saint. Paul the Apostle, constituting an exemplary marriage couple. Francis fervent desire to mobilize priests to be close to their spouses and to „search” for married couples who would be ready to engage in family ministry. Both tasks should be considered very important in the field of this pastoral work.

Opis:
The missionary activity of the early Church is mainly presented in Acts and Letters by St Paul. It was not only a domain of Apostles, missionaries and itinerant preachers, but also actively involved married couples. The couples worth mentioning are: Apostles and their spouses, married couples listed in Romans 16 and Philemon, and first of all Aquila and Priscilla who devoted their whole life to the service of the Gospel.
Działalność misyjna pierwotnego Kościoła ukazana została przede wszystkim w Dziejach Apostolskich i w listach świętego Pawła. Wymienić należy najpierw tu małżeństwa apostołów, pary małżeńskie wymienione w Rz 16 i Flm, a przede wszystkim Akwilę i Pryscyllę, którzy całe swoje życie poświęcili służbie Ewangelii.

Opis:
A non-ergodic probabilistic seismic hazard analysis (PSHA) utilizing the physics-based ground motion prediction was proposed in this study to minimize the increasing uncertainties in the use of empirical equations. The City of L’Aquila in Italy was used for illustrative purposes due to the availability of data and the historical seismicity of the site. A total of 28 seismic sources were identified in this study located within a 100 km radius from the city. Fault properties such as geometry and location were obtained from the literature, while the fault occurrence rates were obtained using the FiSH Code. A modified time-weakening friction law was proposed to model the seismic energy released by an earthquake. Uncertainties in different rupture scenarios were characterized through the Guttenberg-Richter Relations and the Characteristic Brownian Time Passage. Uncertainties in distances were characterized through probability mass functions, which were used to calculate the ground motion exceedance probabilities. The 1D elastodynamic equation coupled with the Hooke’s law was used to predict the peak ground acceleration (PGA), a measure of the ground shaking level. A hazard curve, which is a plot of PGA and its recurrence, was constructed and compared with the results of the study of Valentini, et al., AGU 100: Advancing Earth and Space Science (2019). The method proposed in this study predicts a higher hazard rates for PGAs less than 0.70 g, which implies that the ground motion was overestimated for very far sources. In contrast, lower hazard curves were observed for PGAs greater than 0.70g which can be attributed to fewer seismic sources considered in this study.
