    Opis:
    In the article a risk analysis of the production process of selected products in a plant producing votive candles was conducted. The Pareto-Lorenz diagram and FMEA method were used which indicated the most important areas affecting the production of selected elements of candles. The synthesis of intangible factors affecting production in the audited company was also carried out with particular emphasis on the operation of the production system. The factors determining the validity of studies was examined, describing the principle of BOST 14 Toyota management. The most important areas of the company were identified, positively affecting the production process.

    Opis:
    The assessment of the suitability of elements of classic leadership map/ managerial grids for opinion poll was undertaken. ‘Dead’ measurement points, containing digit 5 as an abscissa or ordinate, were assigned to particular quarters in the leadership grid through switching from the scale of 1÷9 to 1÷8. The structure of assessment of human problem importance and production issues for five enterprises after the change of scale was also presented.

    In the article analysis of the discrepancies in the production process for selected products in a company producing candles was carried out. Using the Pareto-Lorenz diagram and the FMEA method the most essential areas having influence on the production of candles were shown. Apart from factors connected with the manufacturing side of the process, factors of the labour organization and requirements concerning the quality of material were also noted. An appropriate quality of equipment constitutes one of the essential conditions of production process functioning and this directly influences manufacturing possibilities of the enterprise. A synthesis of immaterial factors that influence the production of the enterprise, taking into consideration conditions of functioning the production system, was also carried out. The set of factors selected for description was the fourteenth Toyota management principle. Respondents were asked to provide answers which could bring the best improvements.

    The article presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance in visual control usage in the production processes of enterprises from automotive industry. The significance of visual control in a production process was characterized. An innovative BOST questionnaire survey was described as a tool for transformation of Toyota's management principles into questions. The survey questions from BOST study were described, which is used in evaluation of the visual control importance with reference to the second Toyota's management principle (question E3). The analysis of respondents preference in ranging factors of the second Toyota's management principle was conducted using comparative evaluation of Thurstone’s method, as well as the degree of similarity between these factors was indicated. A subjective factor was assessed by employees of automotive industry as one of less significant in the production process.

It was made the identification of areas from the four Toyota’s management principle point of view. The research object is company producing the different metal products. Some production workers of the company with the help of BOST questionnaire survey showed, which factors are the most important in production process. In frames of the work it was the presentation of research methodology and content four Toyota’s management principle. Based on the survey results of carried out on the population of production workers, a series of importance areas for improvement was formulated. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

Analysis of the research results was presented in the form of tables, histograms, radar chart and some statistical tools.     The article presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys to identify the most important areas that require improvement actions. It was made the identification and of areas requiring improvement from the fourteenth Toyota’s management principle point of view. According to this principle it is crucial to determine the causes of problem by solving technical issues. The research object is company from illumination branch. Some production workers of the company with the help of BOST questionnaire survey showed, which factors can bring the best effect after being improved. In frames of the work it was made characteristics of the research object - producer of illumination, the presentation of research methodology and content fourteenth Toyota’s management principle. Based on the survey results of carried out on the population of production workers, a series of importance areas for improvement was formulated. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. In the article were presented results of analysis with using circular charts, box-and-whisker plots and some statistical tools. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

    The article presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys to identify the most important areas in the production process. If the process is designed properly, then good results will come automatically. The research object is company producing the mineral water and carbonated drinks.     The paper presents the assumptions and method of significance evaluation of the second Toyota’s management principle in the production process of chosen company manufacturing flexible packaging for the food industry. Opinions about examined topic were obtained from the company's production workers with the use of innovative BOST questionnaire survey. An analysis of responses using basic statistical parameters, Pareto‐Lorenz diagram and ABC method, correlation coefficients were conducted and the results of using different graphical forms were presented. As the results of the analysis it was identified the series of validity of factors of the second Toyota’s management principle, which is in the examined company as follows: continuous system of disclousuring problems (CP) > stop production when it detects a problem of quality (PE) > the use of visual control (SW) > standard tasks, processes, documents (SZ) > the use only reliable technology (ST) > delagate authority down (EU).
    W pracy przedstawiono założenia oraz sposób oceny znaczenia drugiej zasady zarządzania Toyoty w procesie produkcyjnym w wybranym przedsiębiorstwie produkującym opakowania giętkie dla przemysłu spożywczego. Opinie na badany temat uzyskano od pracowników produkcyjnych badanego przedsiębiorstwa z wykorzystaniem innowacyjnych badań ankietowych BOST – zasady zarządzania Toyoty w pytaniach. Przeprowadzono analizę i ocenę uzyskanych odpowiedzi z wykorzystaniem podstawowych parametrów statystycznych, diagramu Pareto‐Lorenza, metody ABC, współczynników korelacji oraz zaprezentowano wyniki z wykorzystaniem różnych form graficznej prezentacji wyników w celu lepszego odkrycia zależności pomiędzy danymi. W wyniku analizy określono podsumowujący szereg ważności czynników drugiej zasady zarządzania Toyoty badanego przedsiębiorstwa, który przedstawia się następująco: ciągły system ujawniania problemów (CP) > przerwanie produkcji po wykryciu problemu jakościowego (PE) > stosowanie kontroli wizualnej (SW) > standardowe zadania, procesy, dokumenty (SZ) > stosowanie wyłącznie niezawodnej technologii (ST) > udzielanie pełnomocnictwa w dół (EU).

    The article presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance of safety in the workplace in the production processes of enterprise from metal products industry. Toyota's management principles by Jeffrey Liker were pointed out, which refers to elements of Toyota’s house roof. An innovative BOST questionnaire survey was characterized as a tool for transformation of Toyota's management principles into questions. Research group which participated in BOST study from the metal product industry was characterized. Research results were subjected to statistical analysis with a use of basic statistical parameters. Research results showed that safety in the workplace is important factor in the company.
