    This study consisted of 2 experiments. Experiment 1 examined the effects of hand posture, arm posture and body posture on hand error, while experiment 2 examined the effects of hand posture, breathing type and body posture on hand error. This study showed that more hand errors occurred in the nondominant hand, extended arm, normal breathing and standing compared with errors in the dominant hand, flexed arm, inspire–hold and sitting, respectively. This study advised people to use their dominant hand, flex their arm, inspire and hold the breath and support their body while performing fine manipulation tasks. Finally, hand error varied dramatically across the participants, indicating the need to screen individuals for fine manual manipulation tasks.

    This study addressed several inconsistencies and omissions in golf putting research by testing the performance impact of target focused aiming. Participants were 22 high-level and experienced golfers, currently using ball focused aiming. Participants were allocated in a quasi-random fashion to ball or target focused aiming conditions and each performed 32 putts under competitive conditions on a natural putting green from a distance of 8 ft. Data were recorded as putts holed or missed and further categorised into putts missed long, short, left, right, short left, short right, long left and long right. There was no significant difference between conditions (p > 0.05) for any of the categories tested, despite participants’ prior extreme familiarity and expressed preference for the ball focused technique. These results notwithstanding, we discuss possible explanations for target focused benefits, including the role of vision during putting, the impact of intention during execution and possible expectancy effects. While these findings hold potential implications for golf coaching, more research is clearly required to further understand causative mechanisms and to clarify the existence and nature of advantage for one technique over the other. Based on this study, we recommend that high-level and experienced golfers might try target focused aiming as a ‘cost-free’ experiment.

    The basic element of passing beam headlights is the "cut-off line". It was intended in European beam pattern as tool for correct adjustment of passing beam according good road illumination distance and oncoming drive eyes protection of excessive glare. Cut-off line was established on the one hand as a natural part separating bright and dark area in the conventional passing beam, on the other assigned its essential function of the visual aiming of headlights. It is used in laboratory practices as well as in vehicles factories and in services and technical periodical inspection. The most important is that cut-off line was defined visually and subjectively over 50 years ago. But needed aiming precision according guaranteed road visibility and glare protection is much higher than historically moulded practical cut-off performance. In paper is analysed definition of cut-off line, their performance and meaning, historical evolution and influence for technical development of headlamps design. Also, mathematical approximation and modelling of cut-off line visual perception is described. The important is analysis of practical examples of real cut-off lines, their connections with significant beam pattern characteristics and possible ambiguous aiming during type approval and during vehicle exploitation. Also, analyzed are perspectives of future cut-off line use, development or - may be replacement by other means better serving this very important task to guarantee correct adjustment beam pattern according good road illumination and protection against excessive glare.

    W artykule przedstawiono rozważania dotyczące wpływu skręcenia broni strzeleckiej podczas celowania na, celność strzelania. Z zasad balistyki zewnętrznej wprowadzono zależności pozwalające obliczyć zboczenie pocisku i obniżenie punktu trafienia oraz zaprezentowano wyniki obliczeń dla określonych nastaw celownika przy różnych położeniach celu, wykonane dla różnych kątów skręcenia broni.
    Turning the gun is the aiming error of frequent occurrence among novice shooters. This error arises when the sighting blade of the rear sight is not horizontal at the moment of a bullet exit. Turning the gun has the great influence on the point of bullet impact. The longer is a distance between the barrel axis and the top of a front sight, the bigger influence for a given gun model, the influence depends on the sight setting and on the shooting range. The Siacci method for flat-fire trajectories calculation was used in the paper. It was assumed that the line of sight. It causes diminishing the elevation angle and moving the muzzle up. The formulas are derived to obtain the bullet lowering ∆γ and the bullet deflection z as a function of the gun turning angle α. It is necessary to know the ballistic coefficient c, the distance m between the barrel axis and the top of front sight, the distance a between the top of the sight plane and the muzzle plane, the distance χtar on which the gun is zeroed, the range χ (may be shorter or longer than the distance) and the turning angle α. Practical computation example for the AKM (Kalashnikov) rifle was presented to illustrate application of the method described. The paper will be of interest for military and sporting shooters which tends to improve their skills.

Celem artykułu jest ocena wpływu czynnika ludzkiego na skuteczność bojową w łańcuchu misji bojowej z punktu widzenia podstawowej teorii. W artykule jest rozpatrzony pewien zamknięty cykl wykonania misji bojowej za pomocą broni strzeleckiej z celownikiem optycznym. Prawdopodobieństwo wykonania misji bojowej jest oceniane biorąc pod uwagę poprawność przygotowania danych strzelania, wykrywania, rozpoznawania i identyfikacji celu, poprawnego celowania i trafienia podczas strzelania.
    Authors are considering the combat task structureas a logical chain of the object models participating in its execution: shooter with small arms with optical sight in his hands, explosive items (ammunition) which are directed to target. Shooter through opticalsight and air environment is contacting visually with a target. As we can see, the key role in this chain belongs to the shooter. Paper purpose is to assess influence of human factor to combat effectiveness in the chain of combat task execution from a view point of fundamental theory. A closed cycle of combat task execution using small arms with optical sight is considered in the paper. Probability of combat task execution is assessed taking into consideration the reliability of shooting data preparation, target detection,recognition and identification, correct aiming and impact at shooting.

The concept is based on the method of determining the time concerning the operation of an aiming head in the operation system. The main target in this research was to prepare the most effi cient procedure of Polish Air Force military aircrafts maintenance.

    The Syrian civil war is one of the most important problems which the international community is currently facing, but which remains unsolved since its beginning in March 2011. The high level of complexity of the conflict, the multiplicity of participants and difficulties in recognizing their true intentions make finding possible solutions less probable as the months go by. All this chaos results in the underestimation of the Kurdish factor, which is often, especially because of the increasing role of radical Islamic groups, belittled by some commentators and analysts. Moreover, the lack of unitary organizational structures that can be recognized as a representation of the interests of the Kurdish community living in the territory of Syria, its internal divisions, and the disability in creating the commonly accepted leadership makes regarding the Kurds as a uniform and internally coherent party in the war impossible. The aim of the paper is to present the role of various Kurdish organizations participating in the conflict and analyze the connections and divisions which make the Kurds unable to create a homogenous.
    Trwająca od marca 2011 roku syryjska wojna domowa pozostaje jednym z najbardziej aktualnych problemów, przed jakimi stoi społeczność międzynarodowa, która dotychczas nie zdołała wypracować skutecznego jego rozwiązania. Wysoki stopień skomplikowania konfliktu, wielość biorących w nim udział stron i trudności w określeniu rzeczywistych intencji poszczególnych jego aktorów, powodują, że znalezienie takiego rozwiązania z każdym miesiącem staje się coraz mniej prawdopodobne. Efektem tego chaosu jest niedostrzeganie przez wielu komentatorów i analityków znaczenia czynnika kurdyjskiego, który zwłaszcza wobec wzrastającej roli radykalnych organizacji islamskich bywa niedoceniany. Jednocześnie, brak jednolitych struktur reprezentujących interesy społeczności kurdyjskiej zamieszkującej terytorium Syrii, wewnętrzne w niej podziały i nieumiejętność wyłonienia szeroko akceptowanego przywództwa powodują, że nie sposób mówić o Kurdach jako jednolitej, spójnej stronie konfliktu. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie roli, jaką poszczególne ugrupowania kurdyjskie odgrywają w syryjskiej wojnie domowej, relacji, jakie je łączą i istniejących pomiędzy nimi głębokich podziałów, powodujących, że nie są oni w stanie stworzyć jednolitego frontu, dążącego do realizacji wspólnego celu.

    The study presents the method of determining the time concerning the operation of an aiming head in the operation system. The method is based on the analysis of the values of diagnostic parameters which were registered during the operation of the aiming head. The method is of universal character. It can be used for a wide range of technical systems whose condition is described on the basis of analyzing the values of diagnostic parameters.

    The institution of attempt is used relatively frequently in the practice of justice system.Importantly, it always separates the punishable stage of attempt from punishable preparatory activities, and therefore constitutes the limit of criminalization. Despite its practical importance, using of the indicated legal structure, raises a number of doubts that are related to the proper interpretation of the normative concepts comprising it. A consequence is moving the limit of punishability of the crime by adjudicating authorities. It can raise some objections – from fundamental principle of criminal law inthe form of nullum crimen sine lege point of view. The article discusses the problems of that appear in jurisdiction in connection with the application of the attempt institution; these problems raise interest among doctrine. The author confronts irreconcilable judgments. The Author searches interpretative solutions that seem the most appropriate from theoretical and dogmatic structure of the successful attempt and inept attempt point of view.
