    Opis:
    The article is devoted to an issue of shaping and evolution of convictions in aggressive behaviors. Convictions, as quite stable cognitive structures, do not change easily under influence of experiences. However, their influence on a person’s behavior depends above all on the way of interpretation of an event and a role played in an aggressive event. In order to illustrate the described issue, we chose a narrative (case study). On the basis of autobiographical narrative interview, experiences were reconstructed, which were influencing a shaping of convictions connected with aggressive behaviors, as well as variability, depending on a role undertaken in an aggressive behavior.

    An issue of aggressive behaviors performed by the youth is current and undertaken by numerous researchers, among others in psychology, pedagogy, and law. The research conducted is not only of a cognitive character but it also is connected with attempts of creating a social policy, which will allow to restrict such behaviors. Depending on a leading research trend, reasons of aggressive behaviors of the youth are being searched for in various life domains. The article presents results of empirical studies trying to characterize the so-called risk factors of aggressive behaviors of the youth. It should be underlined, that the results presented have specific character, because they refer to chosen aggressive behaviors, which are also acts against the law. In order to obtain a broader picture of the phenomenon and for comparative reasons, apart from aggressive actions of the youth, acts against property were also analyzed. Some adolescents were also included in the study, who did not have criminal record. The experiment’s main aim was to diagnose chosen aggressive and violent behaviors among the youth aged between 15 and 19 years old. The obtained results allowed to distinguish some personality traits characterizing students who engage in aggressive behaviors.

    Artykuł omawia problematykę zachowań agresywnych dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Z uwagi na fakt, że w wieku przedszkolnym podstawową działalnością dziecka jest zabawa, badania własne przedstawione w tekście analizują związek takich zachowań agresywnych z preferowanymi przez dzieci zabawami. Wyniki badań pozwalają stwierdzić istnieje związku między zachowaniami agresywnymi w formie fizycznej dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym a preferowanymi przez nie zabawami ruchowymi.
    The article discusses the problem of aggressive behaviour of children at the age of preschooleducation. The research presented in the article analyzes the relationship between aggressive behaviors and games chosen by children whose primary activity in the kindergarden is entertainment.The results of the educational experiment allow to state that there is a connection between aggressive behaviors in the physical form and the motor activities preferred by a preschool child.

    Opis:
    The main purpose of the article is an attempt to answer the question: What are the causes and what can be the consequences of peer rejection experienced by the child in the early school period. The text presents a theoretical model of peer rejection based on four mechanisms taking place in peer groups. On the basis of empirical studies, the relationship is shown between aggressive and prosocial behaviors of the child and the experience of rejection. Aggressive behaviors may be both the cause and the consequence of the child’s rejection by his or her peers. The co-occurrence of aggression and rejection results in perpetuating negative interpersonal relationships. Prosocial behaviors are conducive to a change of the negative social status and are an important factor in social development. The final part describes the consequences of early peer rejection, showing it to be stable over time, and carry the risk of social exclusion.

    Artykuł poświęcono problematyce kształtowania się i zmienności przekonań w zachowaniach agresywnych. Przekonania jako dość trwałe struktury poznawcze nie ulegają łatwym zmianom pod wpływem doświadczeń. Jednak ich wpływ na zachowanie jednostki zależy przede wszystkim od sposobu zinterpretowania zdarzenia i odgrywanej roli w zdarzeniu agresywnym. Do zilustrowania poruszanej problematyki posłużyła wybrana narracja (case study). Na podstawie autobiograficznego wywiadu narracyjnego zrekonstruowano doświadczenia życiowe wpływające na kształtowanie się przekonań związanych z zachowaniami agresywnymi, jak również ich zmienność w zależności od podejmowanej roli w zachowaniu agresywnym.

    Problematyka zachowań agresywnych młodzieży jest tematem ciągle aktualnym i podejmowanym przez wielu badaczy, m.in. na gruncie psychologii, pedagogiki jaki i prawa. Prowadzone badania mają charakter nie tylko czysto poznawczy ale związane są z próbami wypracowania polityki społecznej, która pozwoli na skuteczne ograniczenie takich zachowań. W zależności od wiodącego nurtu badawczego przyczyn zachowań agresywnych młodzieży poszukuje się na różnych płaszczyznach życia. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań empirycznych stanowiące próbę scharakteryzowania uwarunkowań tzw. czynników ryzyka w odniesieniu do zachowań agresywnych młodzieży. Podkreślić należy, że zaprezentowane wyniki mają charakter specyficzny, gdyż odnoszą się do wybranych zachowań agresywnych, będących jednocześnie czynami niezgodnymi z prawem. Aby uzyskać szerszy obraz zjawiska, dla celów porównawczych oprócz czynów agresywnych młodzieży analizowano również czyny skierowane przeciwko mieniu oraz włączono do badań młodzież, która nie miała doświadczeń z czynami niezgodnymi z prawem. Głównym celem badań była diagnoza wybranych zachowań agresywnych i przemocowych wśród młodzieży w wieku 15–19 lat. Uzyskane wyniki badań pozwoliły na przedstawienie pewnych własności osobowościowych cechujących uczniów podejmujących zachowania agresywne.

    Every social environment negatively interprets and judges self-aggressive behavior. Among people serving prison sentences, there is an increased risk of self-injury, which to some extent results from growing up in dysfunctional families. The article presents the problem of the function of self-injury of female prisoners and significant predictors of some functions. The main functions in the studied population of prisoners turned out to be regulation of affect, self-care and stressing of suffering.
    W każdym środowisku społecznym zachowania autoagresywne pozostają negatywnie interpretowane i oceniane. Wśród osób odbywających karę pozbawienia wolności występuje podwyższony poziom ryzyka podejmowania samouszkodzeń, co poniekąd wynika z dorastania w rodzinach dysfunkcjonalnych. W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienie funkcji samouszkodzeń osadzonych kobiet oraz istotne predyktory niektórych funkcji. Głównymi funkcjami w badanej populacji skazanych okazały się regulacja afektu, samoopieka oraz podkreślenie cierpienia.

    Temat zachowań agresywnych dzieci i młodzieży szkolnej w związku z grami komputerowymi jest dość popularny. Istnieje spora liczba opracowań, które wskazują na wyraźną zależność między częstotliwością grania w gry komputerowe i preferencją gier zawierających przemoc a różnymi zachowaniami agresywnymi. Nieco mniej miejsca poświęca się pozytywnemu efektowi gier, jego wychowawczo - profilaktycznym potencjalne, a szczególnie zaś wykorzystaniu gier komputerowych w profilaktyce przemocy. Tymczasem już od jakiegoś czasu nowe technologie, a w szczególności poważne gry komputerowe (serious games), zaczęto włączać do programów profilaktycznych. Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na możliwe wykorzystanie poważnych gier cyfrowych w profilaktyce przemocy rówieśniczej. Przedmiotem będzie analiza tkwiącego w nich potencjału ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rozwiązań, które można wykorzystać w profilaktyce przemocy rówieśniczej, zarówno tej „tradycyjnej”, jak i elektronicznej oraz efektów, które dzięki takim grom mogą zostać osiągnięte. Poważne gry mogą być bowiem wykorzystywane do podnoszenia świadomości, wzbudzania empatii i nauczania strategii radzenia sobie z doświadczeniem wiktymizacji, jak i bycia świadkiem przemocy. Problematyka ta nabiera szczególnego znaczenia z punktu widzenia współczesnego wychowania dzieci i młodzieży.
    The topic of aggressive behavior of school children and teenagers in relation to computer games is quite popular. There is a large number of studies which show a clear relationship between the frequency of playing computer games and the preference for violent games and various aggressive behaviors. Slightly less space is devoted to the positive effect of games, its educational and preventive potential, and especially to the use of computer games in the prevention of violence. Meanwhile, for some time now, new technologies, in particular serious games, have started to be included in preventive programs. The aim of the article is to draw attention to the possible use of serious digital games in the prevention of peer violence. The subject will be the analysis of their potential, with emphasis on solutions that can be used in the prevention of peer violence, both “traditional” and electronic, and the effects that can be achieved thanks to such games. Serious games can be used to raise awareness, induce empathy, and teach strategies for coping with the experience of victimization as well as witnessing violence. This issue is of particular importance from the point of view of the contemporary education of children and youth.

    In this article two important aspects, both from the theoretical and empirical research perspectives regarding school, i.e. school culture and school climate are presented. Importance of these two aspects is emphasized in the context of problems in school, especially aggressive and violent behaviors of students, including cyber violence and other behaviors which are psycho-emotional threats to the sense of safety of students. School culture and climate are significant for upbringing, socialization, education, and the all processes occurring at school.
