    Opis:
    Artykuł koncentruje się wokół problematyki tekstów paralelnych na przykładzie afisza teatralnego. Celem badań było sprawdzenie, jakie środki mogą być pomocne w tłumaczeniu afiszy teatralnych. Omówiono cechy charakterystyczne warstwy tekstowej afisza, wskazano na podobieństwa i różnice w formułowaniu tego rodzaju ogłoszeń w polskiej i rosyjskiej przestrzeni kulturowej oraz zwrócono uwagę na typy ekwiwalencji na podstawie klasyfikacji E. Nidy i W. Kollera. Zaprezentowano także problemy tłumaczenia afiszy z języka polskiego na język rosyjski. Dowiedziono, że teksty paralelne stanowią cenne źródło wiedzy oraz mogą być pomocne w tłumaczeniu afiszy teatralnych.
    The article focuses on parallel text issues based on the example of a specific text type – theatrical posters. The author discusses the characteristic features of the poster’s text and indicates similarities and differences in creating such announcements in Polish and Russian cultural spaces. These have become the basis for presenting the problem of translating the posters from Polish into Russian and the advantages of using parallel texts in translation, which are also discussed. The work also underlines types of equivalence based on E. Nida and W. Koller’s classification. These classifications helped to establish criteria to take into account when translating certain types of texts.

    W zbiorach Dokumentacji Teatru Instytutu Sztuki Polskiej Akademii Nauk znajduje się pokaźna (ponad 20 000 pozycji) kolekcja dawnych afiszy teatralnych z XVIII, XIX i XX wieku. W jej skład wchodzi niewielka, a przez to tym cenniejsza, liczba plakatów teatralnych z Kresów Wschodnich zachowanych i przekazanych przez prywatnych kolekcjonerów. Na potrzeby niniejszej publikacji wybrano zbiór afiszy z XIX i pierwszej połowy XX wieku z Grodna, Kamieńca Podolskiego, Kowna, Lwowa, Mińska, Wilna i Żytomierza. Pochodzą one z porozbiorowych ziem polskich rządzonych zarówno przez Rosję, jak i Austro-Węgry, a w przypadku Lwowa - z terytorium niepodległej Polski.
    The repository of Theater Documentation of the Institute of Art, Polish Academy of Sciences, holds a substantial (more than 20,000 items) collection of old theatrical posters dating from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It also contains a small, and for that reason all the more precious, number of theater posters from the Eastern Borderland of Poland, preserved and donated by private collectors. For the purposes of this publication, a set of posters dating from the 19th and the first half of the 20th centuries that come from Grodno, Kamieniec Podolski, Kaunas, Lvov, Minsk, Vilnius, and Żytomierz has been chosen. They come from the post-partition Polish territories ruled by Russia as well as by the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and in the case of Lvov, from the territory of independent Poland.

    Artykuł zawiera odpisy afiszów teatralnych z 1762 roku, które autor sporządził przed II wojną światową na podstawie oryginałów pochodzących ze zniszczonych w czasie wojny zbiorów Załuskich z Biblioteki Narodowej. Są to afisze francuskiej trupy aktorskiej Albaniego, która występowała w Warszawie w latach 1762 i 1763. We wprowadzeniu autor określa charakter i badawczy potencjał tych dokumentów. Afisze pełniące zarazem rolę programów i ulotek reklamowych drukowane były w językach francuskim i polskim, zawierały informacje na temat tytułu i autora wystawianej sztuki, cen biletów, terminów przedstawień, nie podawano w nich natomiast nazwisk aktorów. Zdaniem autora zestawienie tych informacji z innymi materiałami z epoki pozwala na odtworzenie repertuaru, sposobu organizacji występów oraz warunków, w jakich funkcjonował teatr. Treść afiszów skłania także do rewizji poglądów na temat życia teatralnego w czasach saskich. Wynika z nich, że występy teatru francuskiego miały regularny charakter, a Albani wystawiał w Warszawie ambitny repertuar: Molière'a, Marivaux, Regnarda, Destouchesa, Dancourta, Brueysa, La Fontaine’a, a także – po raz pierwszy w Polsce – Le Père de Famille Diderota.
    This article contains reconstruction of theater playbills from 1762, copied by the author from the originals held at the Załuski Collection (Polish National Library) before it was destroyed in the World War II. The playbills advertise performances by Albani’s French acting troupe, which visited Warsaw in 1762 and 1763. In the introduction, the author describes the nature and research potential of these documents. Having served as both programs and advertising pamphlets, they were printed in French and Polish, and listed the title and author of the play, ticket prices and performance dates, but not the cast. The author argues that by juxtaposing this information with other historical sources, it is possible to reconstruct the repertoire, the way performances were organized, and the conditions in which theater functioned in Poland in that period. The playbills also shed new light on the theater life in Saxon Poland (1697–1763; reign of the Wettin dynasty). Contrary to common belief, they show that performances of French theatre were organized regularly, and that Albani brought to Warsaw an ambitious repertoire: Molière, Marivaux, Regnard, Destouches, Dancourt, Brueys, La Fontaine, and – for the first time in Poland – Diderot’s Le Père de famille.
