- Materials presented in this paper were collected from different experimental plots established in 1968, 1975, 1980 and 1986. It was stated that the admixtures of different tree and shrub species might be introduced into the poor sites in the Notecka Forest to the greater degree that it was assumed before. The successfully increase the forest productivity on such forest sites. Gray alder showed the best influence on the growth of Scots pine from many tested species of trees and shrubs. This effect was better when the admixture accounts for 20% than 10%. From the rest of the admixed species the best growth was stated for: silver birch, gray alder, black cherry, European larch and willow.
