Opis:
The article presents a modified scheme of determining the accuracy parameter of SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation System) positioning with use of two supporting systems: EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) and SDCM (System of Differential Correction and Monitoring). The proposed scheme is based on the weighted mean model, which combines single solutions of EGNOS and SDCM positions in order to calculate the accuracy of positioning of the aerial vehicle. The applied algorithm has been tested in a flight experiment conducted in 2020 in north-eastern Poland. The phase of approach to landing of a Diamond DA 20-C1 aircraft at the EPOD airport (European Poland Olsztyn Dajtki) was subjected to numerical analysis. The Septentrio AsterRx2i geodesic receiver was installed on board of the aircraft to collect and record GPS (Global Positioning System) observations to calculate the navigation position of the aircraft. In addition, the EGNOS and SDCM corrections in the “*.ems” format were downloaded from the real time server data. The computations were realized in RTKPOST library of the RTKLIB v.2.4.3 software and also in SciLab application. Based on the conducted research, it was found that the accuracy of aircraft positioning from the EGNOS+SDCM solution ranged from -1.63 m to +3.35 m for the ellipsoidal coordinates BLh. Additionally, the accuracy of determination of the ellipsoidal height h was 1÷28% higher in the weighted mean model than in the arithmetic mean model. On the other hand, the accuracy of determination of the ellipsoidal height h was 1÷28% higher in the weighted mean model than for the single EGNOS solution. Additionally, the weighted mean model reduced the resultant error of the position RMS-3D by 1÷13% in comparison to the arithmetic mean model. The mathematical model used in this study proved to be effective in the analysis of the accuracy of SBAS positioning in aerial navigation.

Opis:
In this paper we applied the regression approach and Bayesian inference to obtain more accurate forecasts of the inflation rate in the case of the Romanian economy. The necessity of using the most accurate forecasts for the inflation rate is required by the realisation of economic criteria for the accession to the eurozone and by the inflation targeting strategy of the National Bank of Romania. Considering the assumption that simple econometric models provide better forecasts than complex models, in this paper we combined various forecasts from individual models using as prior information the expectations of experts. The empirical findings for Romanian inflation rate forecasts over the horizon of 2016-2018 indicated that a fixed effects model performed better than other simple models (autoregressive moving average model, dynamic model, simple and multiple linear model, VAR, Bayesian VAR, simultaneous equations model). The Bayesian combined forecasts that used experts’ predictions as priors, with a shrinkage parameter tending to infinity, improved the accuracy of all predictions using individual models, outperforming also naïve forecasts and zero and equal weights forecasts. However, predictions based on Monte Carlo simulation outperformed all the scenarios in terms of the mean error and mean absolute error.

Opis:
This article highlights the specifics of on-board recorders among the various systems found on aircraft. Attention is drawn to the legal and technical compliance requirements concerning modern on-board recorders. Reference is also made to certain aspects of recording methods and data security. Furthermore, the paper especially focuses on the process of measuring a parameter, indicating the basic criteria regarding the accuracy of the measurement. In addition, the role of two essential elements in the measuring chain is discussed: the feeder as a parameter measurer and the transformation system, i.e., AC converter.

Opis:
Największe różnice w wartościach temperatur, wynoszące ok. 9°C, stwierdzono pomiędzy wynikami uzyskanymi dla prędkości 1 i 20°C·min⁻¹ w procesie krystalizacji tłuszczu kakaowego.
Each analytical method should characterize high accuracy, understood as trueness and precision, linearity and stability, i.e. resistance to various factors. Recently DSC has been proposed as an analytical technique for the analysis of food and pharmaceuticals. In food research DSC technique is a tool used, inter alia, to study the behaviour of cocoa fat, as a component of chocolate, which is subject to a number of polymorphic transitions. Precision of DSC measurement is determined by several factors such as equipment, operator, measurement procedure, sample preparation, etc. Hence the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of such factors as the cooling/heating rate and procedure of DSC calibration on the determination of temperature, enthalpy and peak height of cocoa butter crystallization /melting. The process of melting and crystallization of cocoa fat was examined using following scanning rates: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20°C·min⁻¹. Based on the obtained results it was observed that the rate of cooling/heating has a significant influence on the temperature, enthalpy and peak height of crystallization and melting. The higher of scanning rate, the lower of crystallization/melting temperature and enthalpy of phase transition, which proves the formation of different polymorphic forms. The largest differences in temperature values, amounting to about 9°C, were found between cooling rate 1 and 20°C·min⁻¹ in the crystallization process of cocoa butter. In turn, the height of the crystallization or melting peaks increases with increasing scanning rate. By selection of the appropriate rate it is possible to increase the sensitivity of DSC measurements, which could be important for phase transitions with low enthalpy, or in the case of a very small amount of the sample, e.g. diluted sample. However, it should be taken into account that the increase of the peaks (especially the width) results in the loss of good resolution of the peaks. An important aspect is also a procedure used for calibrating the apparatus. The experiments carried out have shown that a calibration of DSC is needed at each change of scanning rate. The greatest differences in the values of temperature, using different calibration procedures, were recorded in the case of crystallization process with high cooling rate 20°C·min⁻¹ and they amounted to about 4°C.
