    W pracy zostały określone kompetencje menedżera przyszłości. Przedstawione zostały cechy i umiejętności menedżera jako kluczowe czynniki sprawnego i skutecznego zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Zaprezentowano kompetencje menedżerskie jako zdolności do wykorzystania wiedzy i umiejętności służące do osiągania najwyższej efektywności w procesie zarządzania. Pracę kończy podsumowanie. Wyniki przedstawiono w formie opisowej i graficznej.
    The paper sets out the competences of the future manager. It presents characteristics and skills of the manager as key factors for efficient and effective business management. Further, it presents managerial competences as an ability to use knowledge and skills in order to achieve maximum efficiency in the management process. The study is finished with a summary. The results are presented in a graphical and descriptive form.

    The development of fine motor skills in preschool and early school age children is a difficult and long process, and its disturbance may not only lead to serious problems with the process of drawing or writing, but also disrupt the purely academical learning. That is why it is so important to take into account the overall effects of improving manual skills, the specificity of the child’s perceptual and motor functioning at a given stage of development and to respect the key elements of the diagnostic and improvement strategy.

    The falling level of manual skills of the young generation is one of issues in the 21st century. The existing society asks for creative individuals who can work independently. On the other hand, the manually skilled ones are needed too. The core question of our research was to find out whether the individuals who score high on the test of creativity are at the same time manually skilled. In our opinion, it is important to be creative and manually skilful at once to become successful in these days. To ascertain the relationship between creativity and the level of manual skills, a ran-dom sample was selected from children from a secondary school and students of pedagogy. The presented research deals with research regarding levels of creativity and manual skills at secondary schools, that means in the Czech Republic kids from 10 to 14 years old, and at the faculty of education of teachers-to-be. Readers are acquainted with results of evaluating the students of teaching and the pupils/learners at secondary schools from the point of creative abilities in relation with the level of their manual skills. There was used the Urban´s test of creative thinking to test creativity, the level of psychomotor skills was tested using Testing batteries for psychomotor skills, which was made for the research purpose by as. Prof. Honzíková. Those research results as well as the unique testing battery for psychomotor skills are introduced.

    Opis:
    Learning foreign languages is one of the most important skills intended for all adult learners and lasting all their lives. Because of processes of globalization in the world, knowing foreign languages is perceived as being very valuable. Motivation can be described as an entity of external and internal factors which encourage a person to achieve certain goals. External motivation is influenced by a variety of external factors, i.e. a wish to get a better paid job, a possibility to travel abroad or success at an exam. Internal motivation is largely dependent on a person him/herself. It can be emotions caused by the process of learning or a desire to feel comfortable in multicultural surroundings. There are various factors that emerge when adults learn foreign languges: career, change of job or living place, family reasons, free-time and etc. In addition, every person should be encouraged to learn foreign languages and conditions must be met to achieve that. This paper presents a research carried out in 2012 by Vytautas Magnus University lecturers. Its aim was to determine the factors that motivate adult learners to study foreign languages in the extra-mural studies at Vytautas Magnus University as well as in English and Russian language courses for the general public at the university. For the research, 130 questionnaires were distributed among adult learners. In the questionnaires the respondents were asked to indicate the motivating factors that make them learn foreign languages, their learning experiences and difficulties. Afterwards, the respondents were asked to indicate what skills and competences they expect to acquire and if their expectations and needs for studying were met.

    Opis:
    This article discusses the practical approaches to organising and implementing activities aimed at supporting musical abilities in the pre-school educational process. It presents the issues of the relevance and necessity of selecting educational tasks which take into account the interests, musical talents and individuality identified for a particular child. The progress of an individual in terms of musical skills, constituting a specific value of the musical abilities of a child, results from implementing the described organisational and methodological improvements, which create opportunities to experience a variety of forms of musical activity. An analysis of the author’s own research, demonstrating children’s musical achievements and skills, is used in the article to point out the value of pre-school education in this process.
    W artykule zaprezentowano praktyczne sposoby organizowania i realizowania działań wspierających rozwój kompetencji muzycznych w procesie edukacji przedszkolnej. Ukazano kwestie zasadności i konieczności doboru zadań edukacyjnych, uwzględniających diagnozę zainteresowań, uzdolnień muzycznych i indywidualność każdego dziecka. Efektem realizacji opisanych innowacji organizacyjno-metodycznych, stwarzających możliwość doświadczania w różnorodnych formach aktywności muzycznej, jest indywidualny progres w zakresie umiejętności muzycznych, stanowiących indywidualną wartość kompetencji muzycznych dziecka. W artykule wykorzystano analizę wyników badań własnych, ukazujących osiągnięcia i umiejętności muzyczne, oraz wskazano wartość edukacji przedszkolnej w tym procesie.
