    Opis:
    The author of the article sheds light on the most important aspects of the approach to the study of the biblical texts based on tradition, that is the history of the influence of the text – Wirkungsgeschichte. In the first part he shows the philosophical foundations (H-G. Gadamer) and the historical-theological origin of the method that is one more response to the shortcomings of historical-critical studies. In the next point various definitions and formulations of Wirkungsgeschichte are discussed that can be encountered in academic publications, especially written by German exegetes. The article is concluded with a critical evaluation of the approach from the point of view of Catholic hermeneutics and the theological-dogmatic principles formulated in the documents of the Catholic Church (cf. Dei Verbum 12).

    While Theophylact’s Enarratio in Evangelium Marci [Explanation of the Gospel of Mark] is known as the first commentary on the whole Gospel in Greek, the question remains: how much of Mark’s Gospel is in this Explanation? The main aim of the article is to examine whether Theophylact notices the specificity of Mark’s Gospel, or whether he is harmonizing Mark with Matthew, on which he commented earlier, or other Gospels. The analysis of the Explanation of the Gospel of Mark shows that Theophylact relates to content typical of the Gospel of Mark. He distinguishes Mark’s theology from other Gospels, recognizing at the same time the theological unity of the four Gospels. His attentiveness to the details of the narrative is evidenced by the accurate presentation of divergences and, regarding some pericopes, the lack of harmonization.

    Die Leistungen der deutschen Comenius-Rezeption des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts werden im Allgemeinen unterschätzt. Aus der Tatsache, dass diese Rezeption überwiegend von Lehrern ausging, wird häufig gefolgert, dass Comenius hier nur didaktisch verkürzt und sein pansophisches Erbe – mehr oder weniger bewusst – verleugnet worden sei. Dieses Urteil lässt sich in dieser Pauschalität aber nicht aufrechterhalten. Bereits im 18. Jahrhundert wird Comenius von August Hermann Francke im Horizont seiner Weltreformpläne rezipiert, wie man denn überhaupt in Halle ein großes Interesse an seinen Schriften hatte. Im 19. Jahrhundert werden dann die Opera Didactica Omnia – und mit ihnen auch die pan-sophischen Programmschriften – wiederentdeckt. Die biographische Erforschung schreitet genauso voran wie die Beschäftigung mit theologischen und pansophischen Fragen, wobei die Interpretationen keinesfalls nur rein affirmativ ausfallen, sondern durchaus auch abwägend-kritische Urteile zu finden sind. Und so hat die Comeniusforschung bis zum Ende des ›langen‹ 19. Jahrhunderts viele Einsichten hervorgebracht, deren umfassende Würdigung noch aussteht.
