Opis:: Solutions of Industry 4.0 cover more and more areas of the economy. In logistics, digitization applies to each of the functional areas. Introducing IT solutions in logistics leads to an increase in the reliability of communication, faster stock rotation, and a higher level of service. It enables higher work efficiency and overall productivity. Changes in work productivity in three warehouses as a result of the implementation of a WMS class system and accompanying necessary changes in the equipment and organiza tion of warehouse space was analysed in this work. The source of data for the analysis was the measurement of labour productivity for 12 months: three months before the implementation of the WMS and nine after its implementation. Work productivity after the implementation of the WMS increased by 40% compared to the level before it. The period of introducing WMS and obtaining an increase in personnel productivity was at least six months. Labour productivity in the analysed period increased in each month of the analysis. Only one of the three warehouses showed stabilization of workforce productivity at a level 50% higher than before the implementation. The research results confirm that the presence of WMS in the warehouse makes it possible to reach a significant increase in work productivity in warehouses.

Opis:: W artykule omówiona została implementacja unikalnego oprogramowania wspomagającego zarządzanie magazynem za pomocą interaktywnego, trójwymiarowego modelu magazynu. Program łączy systemy RTLS i WMS, wykorzystując dane pochodzące z obu źródeł do reprezentacji stanu magazynu w przejrzystym i intuicyjnym interfejsie.
The task of WMS and RTLS systems integration in a modern warehouse of logistics operator was conducted on a proprietary solution, which is based on the use of a WebGL library and the tools usually used to design three-dimensional graphics in computer games. As a result, the outset requirements for system defined as good availability for end users, ease of maintenance, updates and maintenance were successfully realized. Three-dimensional visualization, available virtually through any web browser allows you to see in the real time the current situation inside warehouse, but also allows you to check the logistics information, search for any logistics unit and even perform inventory process. Application, in addition to visualization, enables the exchange of data between the WMS and RTLS, allowing for the use of information about the location of objects in WMS and providing source data to the RTLS system.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono ewolucję systemów informatycznych w logistyce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem systemów klasy WMS. W artykule wskazano kilka podstawowych trendów rozwoju systemów klasy WMS w oparciu o aktualną sytuację gospodarczą i wymagania stawiane współczesnej logistyce. Autor stawia tezy, że rozwój systemów klasy WMS bezpośrednio związany jest ze zmianą wymagań stawianych logistyce oraz że patrząc na aktualne trendy w gospodarce światowej, należy spodziewać się dalszego rozwoju systemów klasy WMS w najbliższej przyszłości.
The article presents the evolution of IT systems in logistics, with particular emphasis on WMS systems. The author's goal was to collect information about the WMS market in Poland, development of these systems on the domestic and foreign market, and indicate the basic trends in the development of such tools in the future. The basis for research became publications from domestic and foreign literature, with a subject of IT systems for warehouse management. Author has attempted to make a diagnosis about the current state of informatization of Polish enterprises in the field of WMS, as well as the potential development of such systems. The article indicates a few basic trends in the development of warehouse management systems, based on the current economic situation and the requirements set for modern logistics. The author puts forward the thesis that the development of WMS class systems is directly related to the change of requirements for logistics and that looking at current trends in the global economy; we should expect further development of WMS systems in the nearest future.

Opis:: Products should always be accurately identified, regardless of the type of warehouse and the specificity of stored products. Proper acceptance of a given product into a warehouse is the basis for the implementation of subsequent warehouse processes and affects the optimization of the entire logistics chain. Appropriate marking and marking of the location of products deposited in the warehouse is currently determined by an IT system that supports companies in organizational, technological and administrative activities. The aim of the article is to present a model of the process of identification of products accepted and placed on a warehouse using the Anteeo WMS information system.
Produkty powinny zawsze być dokładnie zidentyfikowane, niezależnie od rodzaju magazynu i specyfiki przechowywanych produktów. Właściwa akceptacja danego produktu w magazynie jest podstawą do realizacji kolejnych procesów magazynowych i wpływa na optymalizację całego łańcucha logistycznego. Odpowiednie oznakowanie i oznaczenie lokalizacji produktów zdeponowanych w magazynie jest obecnie określane przez system informatyczny, który wspiera firmy w działaniach organizacyjnych, technologicznych i administracyjnych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie modelu procesu identyfikacji produktów przyjętych i składowanych w magazynie przy użyciu systemu informatycznego Anteeo WMS.

Opis:: The article presents some aspects concerning the application of Information and Computer Technologies in logistics processes. In order to improve management processes the integrated informatics and communication systems, dedicated applications and hardware solutions are used increasingly. The market offers a variety of solutions developed strictly for Transport and Logistics consisting of a multitude modules and applications meeting standard and non-standard requirements of supply chains. Specified solutions are used in warehouses and other types of logistics facilities realizing internal transport. A useful tool for supporting management of warehousing processes in logistics facilities is Warehouse Management System with RFiD technology for information collection and advanced planning. The RFiD is identification technology using radio waves for reading and recording information about products, logistics units or equipment on electronic chip. Construction of RFID systems largely depends on the destination of the system. The special attention is paid to the use of RFID technology to manage transportation system in warehousing facilities. The main features of RFiD technology are discussed.

Opis:: This paper presents possibilities for the utilization of spatial information derived from various sources (GPS field measurements, map scanning, data resources in centres for land survey and cartography documentation, orthophotomaps, WMS and WFS data, map Websites). It also draws attention to potential problems encountered in the process of data integration with the use of state-of-the-art processing technologies and making available geographical information. W artykule przedstawiono możliwośd wykorzystania informacji przestrzennych pochodzących z różnych źródeł (pomiary terenowe GPS, skany map, zasoby danych w ośrodkach dokumentacji geodezyjnej i kartograficznej, ortofotomapy, dane WMS i WFS, serwisy mapowe). Opisano także potencjalne utrudnienia napotykane w procesie integracji danych z zastosowaniem najnowszych technologii przetwarzania i udostępniania informacji geograficznej. Autorzy poruszają także temat jakości przetworzonych danych w aspekcie ich dokładności i wiarygodności oraz możliwości włączenia do zasobów infrastruktury informacji przestrzennej (IIP).

Opis:: Powiatowe Ośrodki Dokumentacji Geodezyjnej i Kartograficznej są w Polsce podstawą funkcjonowania Krajowego Systemu Informacji o Terenie. Zgromadzone w nich dane są ciągle aktualizowane w wyniku realizacji prac geodezyjnych. W przyszłości dane te zapewne będą stanowiły podstawą Krajowej Infrastruktury Danych Przestrzennych. Aby tak się stało muszą zostać jednak przetworzone do postaci numerycznej. W wielu powiatach wymaga to jeszcze dużego nakładu pracy, ale są również takie, w których dane osiągnęły już pełną postać numeryczną. W referacie autor zwraca uwagę na wykorzystanie dostępnych technologii geoinformacyjnych nie tylko do prezentacji danych w Internecie, ale również na usprawnienie procesu zasilania zasobu. W szczególności dotyczy to zautomatyzowania procesu wydawania materiałów, dostępu do specjalistycznych informacji i funkcjonalności oraz zautomatyzowanego przyjmowania zaktualizowanych danych do zasobu.
District Land Survey and Cartographic Information Centres form the basis for the operation of the National Land Information System. Pooled data from these centres is continuously updated as a result of land surveying and in future, this data will probably constitute the basis for the National Infrastructure of Spatial Information. However, in order for this to take place, it must be converted into digital format. In many districts, it still requires a substantial amount of work, but there are also those in which the data has already been converted to full digital character. In the paper the author draws attention to the use of the geoinformation technologies available not only for the presentation of data on the Internet, but also to improve the process of expanding the resource. In particular this applies to automating the process of issuing materials, access to specialist information and functionality and automated integration of updated data into the resource.
