To wiąże się ze znacznym zainteresowaniem wyżej wymienioną kwestią, potrzebą wyznaczenia jej istoty, znalezieniem skutecznych form i metod edukacji osobowości tolerancyjnej.
The article deals with the description of the problem of tolerance and hostility that takes place during the period of a radical social change, the intensiﬁcation of the inter-ethnic and interreligious conﬂicts, the establishment of the humane relations between people and states, all of which are characteristic features of modernity, which entails a considerable interest in deﬁning the essence of these concepts, the development of the effective forms and methods of education, a tolerant personality.

Opis:: Let G = (V, E) be a graph of order n and let 1 ≤ k < n be an integer. The k-token graph of G is the graph whose vertices are all the k-subsets of V, two of which are adjacent whenever their symmetric difference is a pair of adjacent vertices in G. In this paper we characterize precisely, for each value of k, which graphs have a regular k-token graph and which connected graphs have a planar k-token graph.

Opis:: Na przestrzeni wieków w Uniejowie nigdy nie działała żadna mennica, nie doszło także do produkcji miejscowego pieniądza zastępczego. Dopiero w XXI w. pojawiły się w Uniejowie pamiątkowe żetony. Pierwsze uniejowskie numizmaty zostały wybite w 2006 r., a ostatnie pochodzą z 2019 r. W ciągu tych 13 lat mieszkańcy Uniejowa, turyści oraz kolekcjonerzy mogli zgromadzić aż 10 uniejowskich numizmatów.
Over the long history of Uniejów, no mint had functioned in the city nor any local token money was produced there. Only in the 21st century special souvenir coins from Uniejów appeared. The first of these tokens were minted in 2006, the last ones in 2019. Within these 13 years the inhabitants of Uniejów, tourists and also collectors could collect as many as 10 souvenir tokens from Uniejów.

Opis:: Blockchain has been one of the leading technology breakthroughs in recent years. It has enabled the creation of multiple cryptocurrencies and tokens which, amongst others, financed the activities of various startup projects. The last few years have seen the emergence of another blockchain-enabled product – Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) which are a digital certificate of ownership. Both NFTs and tokens are wider part of the creation of a metaverse – a new digital, online environment. This article analyses theoretical aspects of cryptocurrencies, tokens, NFTs and metaverse. The fundraising and token issuance aspects are analysed here based on examples of startups Metahero, Ultiarena and Bloktopia.
Blockchain to jeden z wiodących przełomów technologicznych ostatnich lat. Umożliwił on stworzenie wielu kryptowalut i tokenów, które m.in. pozwoliły sfinansować działalność różnych projektów startupowych. Ostatnie lata zaowocowały pojawieniem się kolejnego produktu bazującego na blockchain – Non Fungible Tokens (NFT), które są cyfrowym certyfikatem własności. Zarówno NFT, jak i tokeny są szerszą częścią tworzenia metaverse – nowego cyfrowego świata. Artykuł analizuje teoretyczne aspekty kryptowalut, tokenów, NFT i metaverse. Aspekty fundraisingu i emisji tokenów zostały opracowane na przykładach startupów Metahero, Ultiarena i Bloktopia.

Opis:: Celem niniejszego artykułu jest prześledzenie znaczenia pojęcia „żeton” na gruncie języka polskiego i zasygnalizowanie zbyt szerokiego zakresu stosowania tego terminu w numizmatyce polskiej. W europejskiej terminologii numizmatycznej „jeton/jetton” oznacza najczęściej to samo co w języku polskim „liczman/ podskarbiówka”. Natomiast polscy badacze nazywają współcześnie „żetonami” m.in. wykonane w XIV-XVIII w. ołowiane zabytki sygnowane różnorodnymi znakami, które najczęściej były wykorzystywane do rozliczania pracy, powinności, uprawnień bądź określonych dóbr materialnych. Jest to bardziej wynikiem stosowanej w środowisku badaczy po II wojnie światowej konwencji, niż wyrazem historycznego rozwoju pojęcia. Ponadto, w czasach coraz bardziej wdzierającego się do naszej rzeczywistości języka angielskiego fakt, iż „jeton” „żetonem” wcale nie jest – może prowadzić do szeregu nieporozumień w opisie dawnych artefaktów.
The article discusses the usage of the word “żeton” in Polish numismatic terminology. Over the last two decades archaeological excavations in Gdańsk have uncovered a very large number of small pieces of sheet lead stamped with the coat of arms of the city of Gdańsk, personal marks, or various emblems. Some of the municipal tokens dating to the 16th and 17th centuries found in Gdańsk are inscribed with the German word “Zeichen” or “Teken”. Both terms can be translated as “token”, but in contemporary Polish numismatic terminology they are termed “żetony”. The author examines the very meaning of the latter term in Polish, pointing out that originally during the Middle Ages there was a significant difference between “żetony” and “Zeichen” or “Teken” (tokens). It was not until the end of World War II that the Polish research community adopted the practice of mixing both terms in a way that actually compromised their historical meaning. Thus the author suggests that it is highly desirable to reconsider the usage of both terms in order to develop a more precise definition of the artifacts in question and to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding.

The aim of this article is to show that these tokens in fact were used in Reden (now a district of Dąbrowa Górnicza). Opis:: The financial crisis of 2007/08 had shattered the global financial system and led – besides a flood of regulations – to a wide range of new concepts and business models. One of these new concepts was “Bitcoin”, a private digital monetary system, which is characterized by decentralization, transparency and immutability. To date the underlying Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) has evolved and offers an extensive range of possibilities, particularly in the financial industry. So far, an EU-wide legal basis for Blockchain or DLT applications and services is missing. France and the Principality of Liechtenstein took a step forward and adopted national laws trying to offer legal certainty in this field. This article aims to provide a comparison of the two acts and underline the similarities and differences.

Opis:: In the automation systems of sorting process the use of computer networks of Ethernet technology is possible. But its traditional drawback is a probabilistic nature of the network access, which does not guarantee the information transmission in specified time intervals. However, there are other technologies that are free from this defect, for example, the Token Ring technology. A methodology, for determination of the network parameters in the automation system on marshalling yard at the restriction of the average time for application waiting in the queue at the station network has worked out. Using the token method of access to the ring, the state diagram of network stations was compiled. This is the basis for simulation model of the Token Ring network, which was developed in the GPSS environment. As a result of simulation the dependencies of the maximum queue length at the network station on the frame length, intensity, and distribution of time for application receipt from the station were obtained.

Opis:: The paper provides an analysis of the impact of negative emotions on decision-making processes. It questions the common-sense view that negative emotions diminish rationality of decisions, i.e., increase the probability of making suboptimal choices. It is argued in the paper that this view is untenable on the grounds of neuroscience, cognitive science and evolutionary theory: the results provided by these sciences support the view that negative emotions in most instances of their occurrence, i.e. types of negative emotions, not only fail to undermine rationality of decision-making but substantially contribute to it. This does mean saying that token-negative emotions never undermine rationality of decision-making. But, as is argued in the paper, the fact that token-negative emotions may have sometimes this kind of negative effect is fully consistent with the claim that, as a rule, the effect is positive, so that one can speak about the causal connection between types of negative emotion and rational decision-making.
