    Opis:
    The purpose of the article is to show the importance of the European Union’s common commercial policy in implementing the concept of sustainable development. The article uses the qualitative and quantitative method, analysis of Polish and foreign literature and analysis of a number of free trade agreements, signed or negotiated in the form of free trade zones and the system of customs preferences (GSP). The analysis concerns EU trade relations in the context of the implementation of sustainable development assumptions. In the new generation trade agreements, economic growth is served by the use of both the idea of free trade and sustainable development. The starting point for the analysis is the discussion of the promotion of the idea of sustainable development by the European Union based on accepted liberal solutions in the common EU trade policy, currently used in the period of weak development of international trade. The second point discusses the European Union’s strategy in the common trade policy, developed on the basis of UN resolutions on sustainable economic development. The third point examines the issue of problems in achieving the goals of sustainable economic development in the case of developing countries.

    Although the obligation to implement international agreements in the internal law (municipal law) is expressly stated in international law, the ways of realising this obligation are not specified. They are left to the discretion of sovereign states whose decisions are made in accordance with the constitutional order. Hence, individual states can adopt a variety of solutions – from those that provide full effectiveness (thus providing full implementation) of agreements on the grounds of internal law to those solutions which allow the national authorities to treat the above mentiond obligation instrumentally (or even manipulatively). The issue, rarely discussed in manuals on treaty law, is extremely important as full and actual use of norms and obligations of such agreements depends chiefly on the effectiveness of an international agreement being implemented internally. Various solutions to this issue relate to both indirect (direct or indirect reception) and direct method of introducing the internal law into national systems. The British, Scandinavian, Italian, and German models propose interesting solutions. It is noteworthy in the Italian system that customary norms of the international alw always have a constitutional dimension, and the level of international agreements depends on the level of the normative transformational act, while their effectiveness depends on ordine di esecuzione. Moreover, the distribution of treaty competences among the state and the regions gives rise to a unique situation. In all cases treaties concluded in or by the European Union have their specificity.

    Celem badań było rozpoznanie form współpracy w łańcuchach dostaw wieprzowiny w krajach o największej produkcji żywca wieprzowego w UE. Źródłem danych do analizy były studia literatury oraz dane statystyki masowej (GUS, USDA). W badaniach zastosowano analizę porównawczą oraz metodę studiów przypadków. Analizą objęto rynek wieprzowiny w: Niemczech, Hiszpanii, Francji, Danii i w Polsce. Ponadto wykorzystano wyniki badań zrealizowanych w 2014 r. w 110 gospodarstwach trzodowych w Polsce. Z analiz wynika, że w krajach UE-28 występują różne formy współpracy w łańcuchach dostaw wieprzowiny. W Polsce rynek żywca wieprzowego cechuje duże rozproszenie producentów trzody chlewnej i przedsiębiorstw mięsnych. W celu poprawy konkurencyjności wskazany jest rozwój integracji pionowej na rynku poprzez wzorowanie się na rozwiązaniach stosowanych w innych krajach.
    The aim of study was to recognize the forms of cooperation in supply chains of pork in the countries with the biggest production of live bait pork in the EU. The source of data were studies of literature and the data of mass statistics (GUS, USDA). In research a comparative analysis and a method of studies of cases were used. The analysis was applied to the pork market in: Germany, Spain, France, Denmark and Poland. In addition, the result of survey conducted in 2014 in the 110 pig farms in Poland were used. The analysis shows that in the EU-28, there are various forms of cooperation in the supply chain of pork. The market of live bait pork in Poland is characterized by the dispersion of the producers of pigs and meat enterprises. In order to improve the competitiveness, the development of vertical integration in the market is necessary through a simulation of the solutions applied in other countries.

    Liberalizacja usług przewozu lotniczego i zmiany w zewnętrznej polityce transportowej UEspowodowały, że zmienia się również ekonomiczna regulacja rynku. W konsekwencji przełamywanesą standardy obowiązujące na podstawie bilateralnych porozumień, przewidującerestryktywne podejście w zakresie dostępu do rynku usług przewozów lotniczych. Zakresregulacji objętej międzynarodowymi umowami lotniczymi poszerza się również o zagadnienia,które, jeśli już, to w bardzo ograniczonym zakresie poruszane były w tych umowach. Niniejszy artykuł dokonuje analizy tych zmian i oceny pod kątem regulowania dostępu do usług lotniczych pomiędzy różnymi gospodarkami państw.
    Liberalization of air transport services and changes in the external transportation policy ofthe EU caused that the economic regulation of the market is also changing. As a result, thestandards that are in force based on bilateral agreements and laying down restrictive attitudetowards access to the market of air transport are breached. The scope of regulations covered ininternational aviation agreements is also widened by the addition of issues that were subject tothose agreements to a limited extent if at all. The article analyses those changes and evaluatesthem from the perspective of the regulation of access to aviation services among variousstates’ economies.
