Opis:: The WO3-TiO2 novel nanomaterial was synthesized by precipitation method and sonication technique. The nanomaterial for the degradation of malachite green (MAG) dye under natural sun light irradiation. The synthesized nanomaterial is characterized by HR-SEM with EDX, PL and UV-Vis DRS analysis. The photodegradation of MAG at various parameters are reported. The mechanisms of dye degradation in natural sun light explain the higher photocatalytic activity of the catalyst. The result indicates the advantage of wastewater treatment by it. The electrochemical study from DSSC analysis showed increased current by WO3-TiO2 nanomaterial. It was proposed that the catalyst was found to be stable and reusable.

Opis:: Artykuł podejmuję próbę ustalenia znaczenia symboliki światła, która pojawia się w narracji synoptyków o przemienieniu Jezusa. W tej perykopie można wyróżnić następujące elementy związane ze światłem: promieniująca twarz Jezusa jak słońce, lśniąco biała szata oraz świetlisty obłok. Synoptycy wykorzystują metaforę światła, żeby opisać rzeczywistość transcendentną, która ukazuje się wybranym uczniom. Motyw światła w epifaniach stanowi zrozumiałą w żydowskim i hellenistycznym środowiskach oznakę przynależności do świata nadprzyrodzonego. Promieniująca światłość stanowi atrybut boskości Jezusa oraz wskazuje na wywyższenie Jego człowieczeństwa. W synoptycznej narracji o przemienieniu Jezusa można znaleźć wspólne elementy z teofanią na Synaju i promieniowaniem twarzy Mojżesza.
The article deals with the metaphor of light as used in the three synoptic passages recounting the Transfiguration of Jesus. Light was visible to the disciples, thus the Transfiguration had an external character, expressed in the dazzling white clothing of Jesus and the radiance of his face as the sun. The synoptic Gospels’ symbolism of light is based on OT traditions such as the Mosaic theophany on Sinai and the apocalyptic vision of the Son of Man in Dn 7. By the term light (and semantically related words) the Gospel writers attempt to describe the transcendent reality which is manifested to selected disciples. The shining radiance of the transfigured Jesus, as well as the dazzling white garment, both serve to reveal Him as a heavenly figure. The symbolism of light as used in this pericope projected a divine attribute, a meaning fully comprehensible within the Jewish and Greek worlds: The bright radiance of the transfigured Jesus is an unmistakable element of His glory.
