Opis:: The aim of the article is to discuss the Sarmatian cultural transfer into the social space of Lor-raine as a manifestation of the Polish cultural identity of the king of Poland, duke of Lorraine and Bar, Stanislaus Leszczynski, a European and a citizen of the world. Leszczynski’s prolific contributions in his new homeland had its roots in the Sarmatian culture, one in which he grew up and which became ingrained in his consciousness. Through the Polish monarch and his Polish entourage, elements of Polish cultural identity—profoundly anchored in the Sarmatian background—began to permeate into the social space of the new homeland of Lorraine.

Opis:: Sprawa aukcji wojska w polskiej historiografii kojarzy się głównie z parlamentaryzmem polskich początków panowania Augusta III. Nie prowadzono jednakże jeszcze głębokich badań nad postawą szlachty koronnej dotyczącej tej kwestii przed rokiem 1733. Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy kwestii związanych z postawą szlachty koronnej podczas początków bezkrólewia 1733 r. wobec sytuacji zagrożenia państwa i faktu słabości militarnej Rzeczypospolitej. Na podstawie akt sejmikowych, a w tym przypadku instrukcji poselskich na sejm konwokacyjny, została podjęta próba rekonstrukcji poglądów szlachty koronnej na postulat aukcji wojska. Tekst został podzielony na dwie części. Pierwsza odnosi się do poglądów szlachty koronnej odnośnie do idei aukcji, a druga traktuje o kwestiach finansowych i projektach skarbowo-wojskowych przedstawionych w instrukcjach. Artykuł został opatrzony trzema wykresami oraz jedną tabelą, które pomogły w graficznym przedstawieniu wyników badań.
The issue of the augmentation of the Crown army is mainly associated in Polish historiography with the parliamentarism of the Polish early reign of August III. However, no in-depth research has yet been conducted into the attitude of the Crown nobility to this issue before 1733. This article deals with issues related to the attitude of the Crown nobility during the early 1733 interregnum to the situation of a threat to the state and the fact of the Republic’s military weakness. On the basis of sejmiks records and, in this case, deputies’ instructions to the Convocation Sejm, an attempt has been made to reconstruct the views of the Crown nobility on the postulate to increase the size of the army. The text has been divided into two parts. The first refers to the views of the Crown nobility on the idea of an auction and the second deals with the financial issues and treasury and military projects presented in the instructions. The article is accompanied by two graphs and one table, which help to present the results of the research graphically
Die Frage der Heeresversteigerungen wird in der polnischen Geschichtsschreibung vor allem mit dem Parlamentarismus der frühen polnischen Herrschaft Augusts III. in Verbindung gebracht. Die Haltung des Kronadels in dieser Frage vor 1733 ist jedoch noch nicht eingehend erforscht worden. Der vorliegende Beitrag befasst sich mit der Frage, wie der Kronadel zu Beginn des Interregnums von 1733 auf die Situation einer Bedrohung des Staates und die Tatsache der militärischen Schwäche der polnischen Adelsrepublik reagierte. Anhand der Sejmik-Akten und in diesem Fall der Instruktionen der Deputierten an den Konvokationssejm wurde versucht, die Haltung des Kronadels zur Forderung nach einer Heeresversteigerung zu rekonstruieren. Der Text ist in zwei Teile gegliedert. Der erste Teil bezieht sich auf die Ansichten des Kronadels über die Idee einer Versteigerung und der zweite Teil behandelt die finanziellen Fragen und die in den Instruktionen vorgestellten Finanz- und Militärprojekte. Der Aufsatz enthält zwei Schaubilder und eine Tabelle, die dazu beitragen, die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung grafisch darzustellen.
