The problem of the influence of social identity on the individual's behavior today is extremely urgent. One of the most important aspects of human existence is a question of self-determination, self-identification that is the basis of social interaction. This article is devoted to analyze of the influence of feat of martyrs and confessors on the forming of personal social identity of young people in the modern informational society. It also describes the development of concepts such as identity and social identity.

Opis:
Shareholders of a company must increasingly share power with other social actors that control access to critical resources. These social actors are stakeholders because they have stakes in firms’ operations, either through being affected by them or through being able to affect them. Stakeholders are embedded in networks of relationships in which resources are shared, combined, exploited or restricted, and informal governance modes emerge. Strategic maneuvering in stakeholder networks is critical for assuring a firm’s access to valuable resources and resulting performance. Managers deciding on the strategic course of a firm embedded in a stakeholder network face multi-dimensional problems with multiple causes. It is argued that a three-way integration of the resource dependence theory, social network analysis, and stakeholder theory yields important insights for managers on options of strategic maneuvering in stakeholder networks. We highlight previous attempts to integrate pairs of these theories. Building on Boutilier’s typology of stakeholder network structures, we describe emerging governance patterns, and propose a set of possible moves aiming to address strategic challenges in gaining access to resources controlled by stakeholders.
Akcjonariusze firm w coraz większym stopniu muszą dzielić się władzą z innymi aktorami społecznymi, którzy kontrolują dostęp do cennych zasobów. Ci aktorzy społeczni określani są jako interesariusze, ponieważ działania firm są powiązane z ich interesami dwojakiego rodzaju relacjami: interesariusze wpływają na działania firm i/lub działania firm wpływają na sytuację interesariuszy. Interesariusze są osadzeni w sieciach relacji, w których występują procesy dzielenia się, kombinacji, eksploatacji i ograniczania dostępu do zasobów w oparciu o nieformalny, wyłaniający się ład. Strategiczne manewry w sieciach interesariuszy mają krytyczne znaczenie dla zapewnienia dostępu do wartościowych zasobów i w efekcie do wyników osiąganych przez uczestników sieci. Menedżerowie podejmujący decyzje o kierunkach strategii działania firmy osadzonej w sieci interesariuszy mają do czynienia z wielowymiarowym problemem decyzyjnym. W artykule autorzy przedstawiają propozycję integracji trzech nurtów teoretycznych: teorii zależności zasobowej, analizy sieci społecznych i teorii interesariuszy, dzięki czemu możliwe wydaje się wsparcie procesu decyzyjnego, który pozwala skutecznie manewrować w sieciach interesariuszy. Podkreślają wcześniejsze próby integracji par omawianych teorii i nieliczne prace, w których podjęto integrację trzech strumieni literatury. Na podstawie typologii struktur sieciowych Boutiliera przedstawiają wyłanianie się ładu i wzorców działania w strukturze sieci, dzięki którym możliwe jest sprostanie strategicznym wyzwaniom uzyskania dostępu do zasobów w sieci.

An in-depth analysis presented in this article concludes that the views and socio-political activities of Wacław Komarnicki were aimed at reasserting the Polish national interest and realizing the idea of the state of law associated with the rule of law. The analysis is based on archival and printed sources and selected literature on the subject. It required the use of appropriate research methods. The biographical method, in conjunction with the content analysis method, proved to be most helpful. Among the research techniques, the analysis of testimonies of political thought proved to be particularly useful.

Since the turn of the years 2016 and 2017, many positive signals have come from the economy: the market data clearly show that the process for economic situation reconstruction has been generally successful. Export has been increasing, inflation seems to be under control, the rate of the Polish zloty remains stable, and the economic and financial situation of companies has been improving gradually. This does not mean, however, that in the coming years Poland will be able to develop fast. Besides, the majority of forecasts assume that in 2018 the rate of the gross domestic product may decrease in comparison with 2017, and it is still unknown how the increase curve will develop in the following years. The article attempts to assess the macroeconomic situation of Poland as forecast for 2017 and as foreseen for the years 2018–2019, as well as to analyse the key factors that will influence the prospects of our economy development. In this context, attention has been focused on five issues: investment trends, the role of knowledge and innovation in stimulating economic growth, the structural conditions of the national labour market, the stability of public finance in the perspective of the coming years, and the conditions for business activity in Poland.

Aim. Research on older adults (≥ 60) repeatedly confirms that the use of social networks has a rather positive effect on these users. The indicated trend leads us to the research of older adults with a focus on their motivations and challenges when using social networking sites. Methods. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with twenty-four older adults in Slovakia. The aim was to uncover the deeper processes and details that the members of the selected sample experience when using social networks. Results. The thematic analysis revealed a disproportion between low knowledge of social networks and willingness to use them in theresearch sample (Q1). While older adults rated their knowledge of social networks with a school grade of 4, they do not see this as an obstacle to their increasingly frequent use of social networks. Within the second research area (Q2), a set of seven motivations derived from the use of social networks among respondents were identified. Finally, four main challenges (Q3) were identified in the research. Conclusion. Research findings confirms not only older adults’ growing interest in using social networks, but also the need for adequate media education with a focus on ‘digital citizenship’, which emphasises both, skills and also knowledge. Cognitive value. When using social networks among older adults, their family members are the driving force behind respondents’ understanding (knowledge) and technological progress (practical skills). There is the necessity of advancement of digital competencies of older adults.

Podstawowymi obszarami funkcjonowania człowieka dorosłego jest praca zawodowa i rodzina, w której pełni on role małżeńskie i rodzicielskie. Rodzicielstwo stanowi nie tylko etap rozwojowy czy płaszczyznę samorealizacji, ale również jest dla człowieka źródłem poczucia sensu życia, zadowolenia i radości. Przejawia się ono w pełnieniu roli matki i ojca, zaś najwłaściwszym środowiskiem do tego pozostaje rodzina oparta na wzajemnej miłości, szacunku, odpowiedzialności i dialogu. W dobie współczesnych przemian społeczno-kulturowych zmianie ulegają modele życia rodzinnego i sposoby realizacji rodzicielstwa, co powoduje, że przygotowanie do odpowiedzialnego rodzicielstwa stanowi dziś ważny kierunek w edukacji młodego pokolenia.
The fundamental qualities of a fully functioning adult are a professional job and a family where they are able to fulfil their marital and parental roles. Parenthood is not only a developmental stage - an area of self-fulfilment - but it is also a wellspring for finding purpose in life, satisfaction and joy. It is manifested in the fulfilment of the role of ‘mother’ and ‘father’. A family based on mutual love, respect, responsibility and communication remains the most suitable environment for fulfilling these roles. In modern times socio-cultural pressures have changed the paradigm of family life and give rise to new challenges in for parents, which places preparation for responsible parenthood as an essential component in the education of a young generation. This issue will be elaborated upon in the presented article.

If we talk about dilemmas and the ethical challenges of the present time, then we suggest simultaneously that these problems differ in some way from universal ethical questions, important to man in every epoch and in every circumstances, and from these issues which were important in the past or will turn out important in the future, however, at present the general agreement concerning definite decisions prevails. Then it is necessary to identify those special problems of the present time and point out the features due to which they acquire special significance to us. However, presenting the matter in such a way does not seem fully justified, because the times in which we live differ in many regards from all mankind has ever experienced. The development of science and technology and increasing possibility of activities resulting from them, and also a level of complexity of relations linking the acting subject with other different subjects and the external world, caused that also ethical problems have taken on a whole new dimension. The issues which in the beginning of the XXth century were considered as minor or banal (e.g. the problem of man’s influence on the environment) became the key ethical questions in the course of several decades stirring up deep divisions not only among ethicists, but also in the whole society. In majority, they are however practical problems connected with certain general philosophical theories, such as abortion, euthanasia or medical experiments. In the last years they grew almost into symbols, and the way of their deciding shows a general ideological attitude, and even allows to define political views.

School social work in our conditions is a little-explored sphere of social work both in theory and in research. on the other hand, the current problems in the school environment represent the reasons for designing effective solutions by social workers, what is possible only in cooperation with other professionals and in the environment where they take place, where they arise. Due to the fact that school social work intervenes at the intersection of the school system and the family system, it is necessary to know the current challenges of these interrelated spheres, which could then help to clarify visions about the specifics of school social work. The paper therefore seeks answers to the question of what are the current challenges and trends arising from the requirement for a new quality of interaction between school and family to which it would be desirable to respond through school social work.

Цель исследования – проанализировать социализацию экономики как фактор решения глобальных проблем в современных условиях. Дизайн/Подход/Метод исследования. Применены общенаучные методы: систематизации, сравнения, обобщения, анализа и синтеза. Результаты исследования. Проанализированы современные глобальные проблемы и вызовы развития. Разъяснена связь между глобальными проблемами и вызовами и типами стран мира. Определены основные глобальные проблемы для развивающихся стран. Предложено решение глобальных проблем посредством управления потенциалом социализации экономики. Теоретическое значение исследования – развито мнение относительно потенциала социализации в решении глобальных проблем и вызовов. Практическое значение исследования заключается в возможности применения его результатов глобальными субъектами (организациями, корпорациями и отдельными государствами) в управлении и решении глобальных проблем. Оригинальность/Ценность/Научная новизна исследования – распределены глобальные проблемы по типам стран мира. Определены направления применения потенциала социализации экономики в решении глобальных проблем. Перспективы дальнейших исследований – изучать финансовые возможности социализации в решении глобальных проблем и вызовов современного развития стран мира. Тип статьи – теоретическая.
Purpose. Research objective is to analyze the socialization of economy as a factor in solving global problems under modern conditions. Design/Method/Approach. General scientific methods are applied: systematization, comparison, generalization, analysis, and synthesis. Findings. Research results – modern global problems and challenges related to development were analyzed. A relationship between global problems and challenges and the types of countries of the world is elucidated. Key global problems for developing countries are identified. It is proposed to solve global problems by managing the potential of economy socialization. Theoretical implications. Theoretical significance of research is in the development of knowledge on the potential of socialization when solving global problems and challenges. Practical implications. Practical significance of research implies the possibility of application its results by global actors (international organizations, corporations, and individual states) in managing and resolving global problems. Originality/Value. Scientific novelty of research is in dividing the global problems by the types of countries in the world. A direction for the application of the economy socialization potential for solving global problems is defined. Further research. Prospects for further research include studying financial capabilities of socialization in solving global problems and challenges related to the modern development of countries in the world. Paper type –сonceptual.
Мета дослідження – проаналізувати соціалізацію економіки як фактор вирішення глобальних проблем у сучасних умовах. Дизайн/Підхід/Метод дослідження. Застосовано загальнонаукові методи: систематизації, порівняння, узагальнення, аналізу та синтезу. Результати дослідження. Проаналізовано сучасні глобальні проблеми та виклики розвитку. Роз’яснено зв'язок між глобальними проблемами й викликами та типами країн світу. Визначено основні глобальні проблеми для країн, що розвиваються. Запропоновано вирішення глобальних проблем за допомогою управління потенціалом соціалізації економіки.  Теоретичне значення дослідження – розвинуто думку щодо потенціалу соціалізації у вирішенні глобальних проблем та викликів. Практичне значення дослідження полягає у можливості застосування його результатів глобальними суб’єктами (міжнародними організаціями, корпораціями та окремими державами) в управлінні та вирішенні глобальних проблем. Оригінальність/Цінність/Наукова новизна дослідження – розподілено глобальні проблеми за типами країн світу. Визначено напрямки застосування потенціалу соціалізації економіки у вирішенні глобальних проблем. Перспективи подальших досліджень – вивчати фінансові спроможності соціалізації у вирішенні глобальних проблем та викликів сучасного розвитку країн світу. Тип статті – теоретична.

Since 2015, the migration crisis continues with varying intensity, and international security crisis as well as debt, institutional, and personnel crises are worsening, not only in the Eurozone. Probably war, economic and climate immigrants will continue to move into the Schengen area, showing how helpless the European Union is. Angela Merkel said there was no upper limit for the number of people admitted to escape political persecution. Germany leaves the Dublin system inconsistently, runs counter to European cohesion and stops differentiating between immigrants and refugees. Migration is shared by the EU Member States. Between “old” and “new” EU countries, scissors are opened. Moreover, in some European regions (France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Spain, Greece) there are closed communities where majority law is not valid. Our current socio-political and economic existence is based on a traditional understanding of security. However, in the third decade of the 21st century the image of prosperity and security is to be seen from a different perspective than in previous years. Dramatic development has led to the mass migration of African and Asian people and to the division of the European Union, especially regarding the mechanism of redistribution of asylum seekers.

Opis:
Social work deals with problems of individuals, families, organizations and communities. However, an evolving set of challenges continues to shape the future of social work theory, research and interventions. Social work is a profession with its own code and follows a set of standards and ethics rules at the federal level, but the licensing processes are controlled at the state level and the professional policies are set at the national and local level. Social workers, therefore, are trained to think in a systemic way and to work with a person-in-environment perspective at the individual and the community level. This text shows how the challenges of the twenty-first century impact the education of social workers as well as social work practice. The economy and globalization present a number of challenges – all of which contribute to creation of new social problems and need for social innovation. New technologies have opened the door for educational and clinical opportunities to connect and engage people in need, however, the digitalization excluded a group of people with a low income. Social work education must keep up with the pressures of the economic aspects influencing the education market and the growing evidence base to support trauma-informed care, the use of psychiatric rehabilitation, prevent bullying at schools and cyberspace, care for elderly and the constant changes ushered in by modernization and globalization. The implications of these challenges are reviewed and provide guidance for social work educators, social work students and social work practitioners.
