Rozwijające się nowe technologie, zwłaszcza media komunikacyjne, przyczyniły się do intensywności zachowań przemocowych w świecie wirtualnym. Niejednokrotnie z różnymi formami cyberprzemocy łączy się zjawisko sekstingu. Polega ono na przesyłaniu za pośrednictwem różnych mediów osobistych materiałów o charakterze erotycznym, a nawet pornograficznym. Artykuł stanowi pewną próbę zwrócenia uwagi na zjawisko sekstingu oraz skutki niewłaściwego korzystania przez dzieci i młodzież z mediów cyfrowych, szczególnie takich, jak internet czy telefonia komórkowa.
Developing new technologies, in particular communication media, has contributed to the intensity of violent behaviour in the virtual world. Very often different forms of cyberbullying are combined with the phenomenon of sexting. This involves the transmission of personal erotic, or even pornographic, material via various media. The paper is an attempt to draw attention to the phenomenon of sexting, and the consequences of the misuse of digital media by children and young people, in particular the Internet and mobile phones.

Aim. The study aims to identify and compare the sending of own and somebody else’s intimate photos and videos and to point out the importance of media education as a meaningful way of preventing sexting. Methods. The research tool was an online self-designed questionnaire. 250 respondents aged 15 to 19 participated in the research. Results. The research has shown that sending their own photos and somebody else’s photos are equally frequent. Differences are only noticeable in average values. The findings offer an overview of sending sexually explicit photos and indicate decreased shyness, and a greater desire to attract attention through their own naked photos or videos. In the case of sending somebody else’s photos, it is a matter of ridiculing the victim without his/her consent. Conclusions. Primarily, the importance of media education ought to be pointed out, as it provides information about the dangers of publishing such photos and videos, and develops critical thinking and media literacy in children, which is key for the safeguarding of online space. We see the importance and significance of the study especially in the prevention of sexting through media education, which could be the primary means of eliminating it.

W artykule ukazany został sexting jako nowe zagrożenie dla dzieci i młodzieży. Artykuł składa się z trzech części: pojęcie i typy sextingu, przyczyny i skala i specyfika zjawiska sextingu oraz konsekwencje sextingu. Opracowanie kończy się podsumowaniem i zamieszczoną bibliografią.
The paper presents sexting as a new threat amongst children and young people and consists of three parts: the concept and types of sexting, causes and scale and specifics of the phenomenon and the consequences of sexting. This dissertation is preceded by a brief introduction which has been signaled problems discussed further below. Tips and set out a bibliography are concluded at the end.

Der Artikel schildert Fragestellungen in Bezug auf Sexualverbrechen, die an oder von Minderjährigen begangen werden. Es werden das Recht und die außerrechtlichen Faktoren der Analyse unterzogen: die Zugänglichkeit und die Qualität der sexuellen Aufklärung in der Schule und in der Familie, soziale Entwicklung der Minderjährigen. Besondere Beachtung wird dem Einfluss der IT-Technologien (Internet, Mobiltelefone, Tablet-PCs) auf kriminelle Sexualverhaltensweisen der Jugendlichen (Sexting, Stalking, Cyberbullying, Pornografie) geschenkt. Eine grundsätzliche Frage ist dabei, ob es möglich ist, Sexualverhalten der Jugendlichen gesetzlich so zu regeln, damit sie zugleich vor dem Missbrauch geschützt werden. Es ist auch interessant, welche Faktoren die Schlüssigkeit des Strafrechts (und im Falle der Minderjährigen auch Gesetze über Vorgehensweisen in der Jugendkriminalität) und der Wirklichkeit beeinflussen. In diesem Zusammenhang verweise ich auf die Einflüsse der Kultur und der sozialen Werte.
The aim of this article is to present issues related to sexual offences committed by or against minors. In addition to that, non-legal factors will be analyzed, such as access to and quality of sexual education at home and at school or social development of minors. Special attention is paid to the impact of information technologies (the Internet, mobile phones, tablets) on the intensity of juvenile delinquency, e.g. pornography, sexting, stalking, cyberbullying. The main question is whether it is possible to legally regulate and codify the behaviour of teenagers in terms of their sexual activity in a way which protects them sufficiently from harm. It is also of interest what factors determine the consistency of criminal law – and, in the case of minors, the law of juvenile justice – and observable reality. The paper concludes that the joint impact of culture and social norms constitutes the crux of the matter.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zagadnień związanych z przestępstwami seksualnymi popełnianymi przez lub wobec osób małoletnich. Analizowane jest prawo, a także czynniki pozaprawne: dostępność i jakość edukacji seksualnej w szkole i w domu, rozwój społeczny osób małoletnich. Szczególną uwagę zwracam na wpływ technologii teleinformacyjnych (Internet, telefony komórkowe, (tablety) na przestępcze zachowania seksualne osób młodych (sexting, stalking, cyberbullying, pornografia). Podstawowym pytaniem jest to, czy możliwe jest prawne regulowanie zachowań seksualnych młodzieży w taki sposób, by jednocześnie chroniły ich one przed okrzywdzeniem. Interesujące jest również, jakie czynniki wpływają na spójność prawa karnego (a w przypadku osób nieletnich również ustawy o postępowaniu w sprawach nieletnich) i rzeczywistości. W tym aspekcie wskazuję na wpływy kultury i wartości społecznych.

The development of an information society leads to a shift from material civilization towards an invisible civilization which should properly be called an information civilization. The information civilization creates enormous opportunities for society and economy. Internet-based functions, such as teleworking, tele-education or tele-information have their social and economic implications. Goal of the article: The goal of the study is to draw attention to the social consequences of the fast development of the information society with a presentation of selected threats to children and young people in cyberspace. Methodology: The study uses the research method based on the literature analysis of the phenomenon of threats to children and adolescents in cyberspace, results of research conducted among others by the Nobody's Children Foundation and the Central Statistical Office of Poland. Conclusions: Wide perception of the cyberbullying problem is needed as this issue concerns children and young people as well as parents and teachers.
Rozwój społeczeństwa informacyjnego prowadzi do odchodzenia od cywilizacji materialnej w kierunku cywilizacji niewidocznej, którą precyzyjnie powinno się nazywać cywilizacją informacyjną. Cywilizacja informacyjna stwarza ogromne szanse dla społeczeństwa i gospodarki. Realizacja przez Internet takich funkcji, jak: telepraca, tele-edukacja czy tele-informacja ma swoje określone skutki społeczne i gospodarcze. Cel artykułu: Celem opracowania jest zwrócenie uwagi na skutki społeczne szybkiego rozwoju społeczeństwa informacyjnego ze wskazaniem wybranych zagrożeń dla dzieci i młodzieży w cyberprzestrzeni. Metodologia: W opracowaniu wykorzystano metodę badawczą w postaci analizy literatury badanego zjawiska, wyników badań przeprowadzonych m.in. przez Fundację Dzieci Niczyje oraz danych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego. Wnioski: Na zagrożenia w cyberprzestrzeni dla młodzieży należy spojrzeć szeroko uwzględniając zarówno dzieci i młodzież, jak i rodziców oraz nauczycieli.

Artykuł analizuje prawne aspekty tworzenia i udostępniania materiałów pornograficznych przez osoby poniżej 18 r.ż., czynione wobec odbiorców z którymi pozostają w romantycznej relacji, jak i wobec osób anonimowych, za opłatą. Dodatkowo w artykule poruszono kwestię dostępu osób małoletnich do treści pornograficznych.
The development of the information technology has enabled the rapid progress of the societies but has also created some negative social phenomena, for example, the exposure of minors to the sexual activity too early, in inappropriate forms and without parental control. The article analyses the legal aspects of creating and making available pornographic materials by a person under 18 years of age, then sent to a recipient with whom he or she is involved in a romantic relationship, as well as to other people, to monetize on it. Additionally, the article analyses the issue of access to pornographic content by minors.

The Internet offers a wide range of varied contents to its users. There are different kinds of activities in which people from all over the world can participate, as no geographical impediments are present. Children and young people use the Internet enthusiastically to take part in social life which nowadays is held mostly in cyberspace. They all dream about being popular and wellknown users. Therefore, they support their friends’ unusual behaviors. Young people create their own trends which, if they stick to them, guarantees that they are accepted community members. These behaviors are not always moral. Cyberspace is a place where parental control disappears. Social media become young people’s private space. Moreover, they take part in a new and dangerous phenomenon, called sexting. This extremely risky misbehavior may have an influence on their lives. Furthermore, sexting can increase the rate of paedophilic activities on the Internet. The main aim of the article is to describe sexting and its influence on children and young people.

Seksting to zjawisko polegające na przesyłaniu za pośrednictwem sieci lub publikowaniu online osobistych materiałów o charakterze erotycznym lub pornograficznym. W zależności od przyjętej definicji i metodologii badań problem ten dotyczy od kilku do nawet ponad 40% dzieci i nastolatków. Zjawisko postrzegane przez większość młodych ludzi jako niezagrażające, potrafi być niezwykle dotkliwe, szczególnie w sytuacji upublicznienia prywatnych materiałów erotycznych w sieci. Ponadto często towarzyszą mu zachowania rówieśników o charakterze cyberprzemocowym. Media donoszą o przypadkach samobójstw ofiar sekstingu. Problem związany jest z szerszym zjawiskiem seksualizacji w sieci i mediach. Do sekstingu dochodzi zazwyczaj między młodymi osobami planującymi związek lub w nim będącymi, często w „dowód miłości”. Okazuje się, że najbardziej dotknięte sekstingiem są dziewczyny nakłaniane do niego przez chłopców. Ważny jest wymiar prawny problemu – część zachowań sekstingowych może być regulowana przepisami dotyczącymi pornografii dziecięcej. Zjawisko wymaga dokładniejszego opracowania teoretycznego, pogłębionych badań jakościowych oraz działań profilaktycznych adresowanych do młodych ludzi angażujących rodziców, profesjonalistów pracujących z dziećmi, szkoły oraz dostawców usług internetowych.
Sexting is an act of sending sexual or pornographic materials via the internet or mobile phones or publishing them online. Depending on the definition and research methods, the problem involves from a few percent up to 40 percent of children and young people. Although the majority of young people do not see it as threatening, sexting can be extremely hurtful, especially when private sexual materials are published online. Sexting is often accompanied by cyberbullying. The media have informed about suicides committed by victims of sexting. The problem is related to a broader phenomenon of sexualisation on the internet and in the media. Sexting usually occurs between young people who plan to form a relationship or already have a relationship; it is often seen as a “proof of love”. The group most affected by sexting is girls who are urged to engage in sexting activity by boys. The problem has an important legal aspect: some sexting behaviours may be regulated by the laws concerning child pornography. This phenomenon requires theoretical clarification, in-depth qualitative studies, and preventive efforts targeted at young people with the involvement of parents, professionals working with children, schools, and internet providers.

The study deals with sexting as a risk behaviour of pupils in elementary and secondary schools. Artykuł porusza problem seksualności, do której podejście, zwłaszcza młodych ludzi, zmieniło się w dużej mierze dzięki rozwojowi nowoczesnych technologii. Upowszechnienie Internetu i telefonii komórkowej przyczyniło się do coraz swobodniejszego udostępniania prywatnych, a nawet intymnych, zdjęć czy filmów nieograniczonej liczbie odbiorców. W artykule przybliżono analizę wyników badań własnych, mających na celu zbadanie opinii młodych kobiet i mężczyzn dotyczących seksualności, a przede wszystkim sekstingu. Przedstawiono również najważniejsze wnioski.
The article discusses the issue of sexuality, which has changed to a large extent through the development of modern technologies, especially as far as young people are concerned. The popularisation of the Internet and mobile telephony has encouraged more people to share private and even intimate photos or videos with an unlimited number of recipients. The author introduces a report from an empirical survey, aimed at examining the opinions of young women and men concerning sexuality and sexting.

Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie charakterystyki edukacji seksualnej w wybranych krajach europejskich. Szczególną uwagę należy zwrócić na potrzebę obowiązkowej i rzetelnie prowadzonej edukacji seksualnej młodzieży jako środka profilaktycznego oraz czynnika dostarczającego obiektywnej prawdy naukowej. Systemy normatywne i zespół przekonań często kreują społeczne tabu dotyczące seksualności. Na podstawie źródeł naukowych opublikowanych w języku polskim, francuskim i angielskim, niniejszy artykuł ukazuje także istotę edukacji seksualnej w szkołach, jako drogę do podejmowania przez młodzież właściwych wyborów, zmniejszenia występowania zachowań ryzykownych oraz ochronę i profilaktykę przed chorobami przenoszonymi drogą płciową, nieplanowaną ciążą oraz przemocą seksualną. Zdobywanie prawdziwych i zgodnych z aktualnym stanem wiedzy informacji dotyczących sfery seksualnej człowieka powinno odbywać się przez całe życie. Prowadzenie profesjonalnych zajęć z edukacji seksualnej w szkole byłoby szansą na równy dostęp do informacji na ten temat dla wszystkich uczniów. Zarówno tych, którzy rozmawiają z swoimi rodzicami, jak i tych, dla których jest to temat tabu. Zaprezentowane skutki braku edukacji seksualnej w szkołach ukazują, iż jej rzetelna i profesjonalna realizacja jest środkiem do zapewnienia pomocy młodzieży oraz ich rodzinom. Jednakże by zmienić podejście rodziców i uczniów w kwestii uczęszczania na zajęcia z tego przedmiotu, niezbędna jest poprawa jakości nauczania tego przedmiotu oraz pewne modyfikacje programowe.
This article aims to present the characteristics of sex education in selected European countries. Particular attention should be paid to the need for compulsory and diligently conducted sexual education of young people as a preventive measure and a factor providing objective scientific truth. Normative systems and set of beliefs often create social taboos about sexuality. Based on the analysis of scientific sources published in Polish, French and English, this article also shows the essence of sex education in schools, as a way for young people to make the right choices, reduce the occurrence of risky behaviors and protect against and prevent sexually transmitted diseases, unplanned pregnancy and sexual violence. Acquiring true and consistent with the current state of knowledge information on the human sexual sphere should be carried out throughout life. Conducting professional sex education classes at school would be an opportunity for all students to have equal access to information on this subject. Both for those who talk to their parents and those for whom it is a taboo. The presented effects of the lack of sexual education in schools show that its reliable and professional implementation is a means of providing help to young people and their families. However, in order to change the approach of parents and students to attending classes in this subject, it is necessary to improve the quality of teaching in this subject and to make some changes to the curriculum.

Opis:
Artykuł stanowi pogłębioną analizę ryzykownych zachowań dzieci i młodzieży, posługujących się technikami cyfrowymi. Autor porusza problematykę seksualności dzieci i młodzież oraz młodych dorosłych w kontekście korzystania z takich środków przekazu jak Internet czy telefon komórkowy. Artykuł zawiera teoretyczne wprowadzenie dotyczące korzystania z cyfrowych mediów i prezentuje badania na ten temat. Pokazuje funkcjonowanie młodych ludzi w cyberświecie oraz ich sposoby komunikowania za pomocą tzw. komunikacji zapośredniczonej. Autor nie tylko wskazuje skalę zjawiska, ale także jego uwarunkowania, konsekwencje oraz sposoby radzenia sobie z nim. W kręgu zainteresowań Autora, znajduje się m.in. rozwój psychoseksualny dzieci i młodzieży – wieloletnie doświadczenie w zakresie edukacji seksualnej. W artykule poruszona została problematyka seksualizacji przemocy elektronicznej, sextingu, grommingu wraz z charakterystyką roli sprawców i ofiar, typologii tych zjawisk i ich współwystępowania. Tematyka artykułu została osadzona w obowiązujących ramach prawnych. Końcowe wnioski artykułu dotyczą edukowania młodych Polaków w świecie cyfrowych mediów, w szczególności w obszarze profilaktyki ryzykownych zachowań w cyberprzestrzeni.
The paper is an in-depth analysis of risk behaviours of children and adolescents who use digital technologies. The author discusses the issue of child, adolescent and young adult sexuality in the context of using such media as the Internet or a mobile phone. The article includes a theoretical introduction concerning the use of digital media and presents the research on the subject. It shows the way young people function in a cyber world and their ways of communicating with the help of so called mediated communication. Not only does the author indicate the scale of the phenomenon but also its determinants, consequences and various ways of dealing with it. The author deals, among other things, with psychosexual development of children and adolescent - he has a long experience in the field of sex education. The article discusses the issues of sexualisation of electronic violence, sexting and grooming together with the characteristics of the role of perpetrators and victims, typology of these phenomena and their co-occurrence. The subject of the paper was embedded in the existing legal framework. The final conclusions concern the education of young Poles in the area of digital media, in particular the prevention of risky behaviour in the cyberspace.

Opis:
Purpose of research. The aim of the article is to characterize new risk behaviors and to identify trends in their development. The method of research. The characteristics of risky behavior were made using the method of review of subjects and media reports. Results. Awarded three new risky behaviors: sexting, project-x and the use of restrictive diets Conclusions. It was agreed that the new risk behavior exhibited by young people are brutalization and dissemination.
Cel badań. Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka nowych zachowań ryzykownych oraz określenie tendencji ich rozwoju. Metoda badań. Charakterystykę zachowań ryzykownych dokonano wykorzystując metodę przeglądu odwołując się do publikacji naukowych oraz doniesień medialnych. Wyniki. Wyróżniono trzy nowe zachowania ryzykowne: seksting, projekt-x oraz stosowanie restrykcyjnych diet. Wnioski. Ustalono, że nowe zachowani ryzykowne przejawiane przez młodzież, związane są z rozwojem technologii cyfrowych i ulegają brutalizacja oraz rozpowszechnieniu .

Sfera seksualna jest ważną sferą życia, a czas młodości to czas odkrywania jej tajników, uczenia się jej, integrowania w kontekście całej osobowości. Seksualność człowieka, jako dar wpisany w naturę stworzenia, jest czymś dobrym i chcianym przez Stwórcę. Zadaniem Kościoła jest ukazywać piękno tego daru i przedstawiać światu chrześcijańską wizję seksualności, która człowieka nie ogranicza i nie zubaża, ale wydobywa z niego to, co najwartościowsze. Artykuł jest próbą podjęcia istotnego pytania o kontekst kulturowy, społeczny, cywilizacyjny, w którym odbywa się nauczanie Kościoła. Na podstawie najnowszych badań socjologicznych ukazano obraz współczesnego pokolenia polskiej młodzieży oraz jej świat wartości. Przedstawiono wybrane zjawiska we współczesnej kulturze, w których widoczne jest uprzedmiotowienie ludzkiej seksualności. Naszkicowano wyzwania, przed jakimi stoi Kościół, chcący wejść w świat młodych, wskazując, na co powinien zwrócić uwagę w swojej praktyce duszpastersko-moralnej.
Sexuality is an important sphere of life that is particularly explored, learned and integrated in the context of one’s personality at the time of youth. Human sexuality, as the gift incorporated into the nature of creation, is good in itself and welcomed by the Maker. It is the task of the Church to present the beauty of this gift and demonstrate to the world the Christian vision of sexuality that does not limit or deprive a man of anything but brings out the best in himself, the most beautiful and valuable aspects. The article aims at asking the crucial questions about cultural, social and civilization-related context that gives the framework for the teaching of the Church. The image of contemporary generation of the Polish youth and their values was presented based on most recent sociological research. A selection of contemporary culture phenomena portraying objectified human sexuality was presented. The author outlined challenges that the Church is facing when it tries to enter the world of the youth, pointing out the things to be remembered in the moral and pastoral work.
