    El presente trabajo se propone realizar un análisis de la función atenuadora de la partícula como que generada a partir de su valor aproximador en el español hablado en la ciudad de Sevilla. Con el fin de llevar a cabo este objetivo, se han utilizado 72 entrevistas sociolingüísticas que constituyen el corpus oral PRESEEA-Sevilla, distribuidas según el sexo de los informantes (mujeres y hombres), el grupo generacional (20-34 años, 35-54 años y 55 años en adelante) y el grado de instrucción (alto, medio y bajo). Asimismo, para ver con qué tipo de función atenuadora se relaciona la partícula como que, se han considerado las tres funciones generales de este fenómeno pragmático, esto es, autoprotección, prevención y reparación de la imagen (Albelda et al. 2014). Los resultados obtenidos dan cuenta de que la locución como que se utiliza ampliamente como atenuador lingüístico en detrimento del valor aproximador en aquellos contextos interactivos donde los hablantes buscan principalmente salvaguardar y proteger la propia imagen. También se pone de manifiesto que el uso atenuador de esta partícula está condicionado por criterios extralingüísticos (edad y sexo) y estilísticos (el tenor).

    Wizerunki zakonników mercedariańskich autorstwa Francisco de Zurbarána powstały do sewilskiego klasztoru Nuestra Señora de la Merced. Artysta naszkicował postaci braci zakonnych z odległych czasów w oparciu o fizjonomię współczesnych mu modeli. Zachowane obrazy charakteryzują się prostotą kompozycji. Każde płótno wypełnia postać zakonnika odzianego w biały habit. Wszyscy ukazani przedstawiciele zakonu, za wyjątkiem świętego Serapiona, przedstawieni zostali z księgą, która podkreśla walory intelektualne wybranych zakonników. Podobizny mercedariuszy zdobiące ściany pomieszczeń klasztornych stanowiły punkt odniesienia oraz wzór życia zakonnego dla pokoleń mężczyzn wstępujących do zakonu. Francisco de Zurbarán za pomocą dwóch barw: ciemnego, niemalże czarnego tła i jaśniejącej na nim bieli zawarł duchowy wymiar wizerunków uwznioślając ideę życia zakonnego.
    The portraits of Mercedarian monks by Francisco de Zurbarán were created for the Sevillian monastery Nuestra Señora de la Merced. The artist sketched images of old-time monks based on the physiognomy of his contemporary models. The surviving paintings characterize in a simplicity of composition. Each canvas shows an image of a monk clothed in a white frock. All the presented members of the order, with the exception of Saint Serapion, are pictured with a tome, which emphasizes the intellectual skills of the selected monk. The images of the Mercedarians, which decorated the walls of monastery rooms, were the reference point, as well as a model, of the monastic life for the generations of men who were taking the veil. Francisco de Zurbarán, with the use of two colours: a dark, almost black, background and a shining white, pictured the spiritual dimension of the images, which sublimated the idea of the monastic life.

    Sewilla, stolica Andaluzji, jest czwartym pod względem liczby mieszkańców (aglomeracja 1,5 mln osób) miastem w Hiszpanii. Jest szóstym hiszpańskim miastem, jakie otrzymało sieć metra (po Madrycie, Barcelonie, Walencji, Bilbao i Palma de Mallorca). Pierwsza linia metra w Sewilli została otwarta w kwietniu 2009 r. (ukończono budowę 80% z zaplanowanej długości linii oraz 17 z 22 stacji, a pozostałe zostały otwarte miesiąc później). Linia biegnie zarówno pod powierzchnią gruntu, jak i na powierzchni, a taki przebieg wynika między innymi z górzystego terenu, na którym jest położone miasto.

    En esta investigación abordamos el estudio de los apéndices interrogativos en la ciudad de Sevilla teniendo en cuenta el contraste entre dos épocas: últimas décadas del siglo XX (materiales del grupo Sociolingüística Andaluza: Estudio Sociolingüístico del Habla de Sevilla) y primeros años del siglo XXI (corpus PRESEEA-SE recopilado por el proyecto Patrones Sociolingüísticos del Español de Sevilla). El objetivo que se persigue es conocer si el factor cronológico ha influido en el tipo y la vitalidad de los apéndices interrogativos registrados, así como en su distribución sociolingüística. Para ello se consideraron las variables nivel educativo, edad y sexo. Nuestros resultados ponen de manifiesto que hay formas que muestran un comportamiento similar en ambas etapas, aunque con algunas diferencias generacionales (¿no?, ¿eh?); y que hay otras variantes cuya distribución está condicionada por la fecha de recogida de los materiales y, especialmente, por la edad de los informantes (¿entiendes?, ¿verdad?, ¿vale?, ¿sabes?).

    The subject of the considerations in presented paper is the concept of ius gentium in two selected fragments of St. Thomas Aquinas: S.Th. I-II, q. 95, a. 4 and S.Th. II-II, q. 57, a. 3. The introduction to their detailed analysis is the discussion of three issues necessary for the correct interpretation of Aquinas’ argu-ments, i.e. the concept of ius gentium in the first book of the Justinian Digest, the definition of ius gentium in the Etymologies of St. Isidore of Seville and an explanation of the relationship between the concepts of ius and lex in the Summa Theologica. The conducted research allows to conclude that the Angelic Doctor uses the concept of ius gentium in a twofold sense. The first of them is of a juridical nature and can be equated with the understanding of this term on the basis of the sources of Roman law. Ius gentium is therefore a set of legal norms common to all peoples, which enable, first of all, mutual economic turnover, although to some extent also apply to the external activity of the state. The second meaning of the term ius gentium, although also to some extent inspired by the sources of Roman law, has a broader character and a deeper philosophical foundation. On the basis of the treaty on justice, ius gentium constitutes the social order of functioning of all people based on natural reason (naturalis ratio).
