    Opis:
    The goal of this article is to provide evidence that the author of Rozmyślanie przemyskie resorted to non-Latin written sources when writing his apocrypha. The author of this article has analysed the parts of the oldest Czech version of Život Krista Pána and the analogical parts of Rozmyślanie przemyskie and has indicated the similarities and records which undoubtedly result from an erroneous interpretation or the translator’s wrong understanding of the sense of the Czech version. Therefore evidence has been provided that the Polish version of the apocrypha was based also on the Czech source. By excluding a possibility of the author resorting directly to the full version of the Czech apocrypha (rather, he included into the narration a Czech sermon or a piece of Život Krista Pána which existed as a separate text), the author of the article suggests that the Polish Biblical apocrypha be viewed with respect to the Czech texts.

    Opis:
    Celem artykułu jest pokazanie, jak w staropolskich narracjach biblijno-apokryficznych rozwijany był biblijny motyw Dobrego Łotra. Interesuje nas odpowiedź na pytanie, w jakim kontekście przywoływano ten wątek i czemu służył. Ze względu na łączenie się (para)biblijnego motywu Dobrego Łotra z ludowym motywem Madeja w centrum zainteresowania postawiliśmy zarówno wzajemne relacje między analizowanymi fragmentami apokryfów, jak i między tymi fragmentami a późniejszymi tekstami folkloru. Główny jednak nacisk położono na materiał staropolski.  
    The aim of the article is to show how the biblical motif of the Penitent Thief was developed in Old Polish biblical-apocryphal narratives. We are interested to know in what context this issue has been mentioned and what purpose it has served. Due to the merging of the (para)biblical motif of the Penitent Thief with the folk motif of Madej, we have focused on the interrelationships between the fragments of the Apocrypha analysed, as well as between these fragments and later folklore texts. However, the main focus is on the old Polish material.

    Opis:
    (Polish title: 'O lotrze przeklety, o zdrajca niewierny, o wilku chwatajacy' - zwroty do postaci W rozmyslaniu przemyskim jako inny obszar tekstu). This article treats about apostrophes in Rozmyslanie przemyskie. In the past few years in mediaeval studies began to appear the questions about what in this biggest old Polish Apocrypha is original, written by it's author, and what is taken from the Latin sources. Also began to appear the questions about the role of this text (treaty, story, mediatation) and who was it's author. It was pointed out, inter alia, that some parts of the text is finished part of the sermon. The author took a different, than previously indicated, area of the text. She selected for analyses the apostrophes. She analyzed only those apostrophes, which are addressed directly to the characters by the narrator - the independent ones, and not those, which are inserted into the mouth of the other performing character. Due to lack of Latin sources, we can assume that they were written by the Polish author. Out of the characters, to which the narrator speaks in these complex apostrophes, Judas is distinguished by the number of apostrophes and their content. Invocations to the traitor add not much to the plot, the reader of the apocrypha can learn few about the Judas from them. They rather build the reader's attitude to this villain, cause they are very emotional. In addition, they refer to these defects of Judas, which can also concern people of all ages - especially avarice and greed. Their language and content suggest that are the next - next to two sermons - ready, prepared rhetorically, passages of the text that can serve the work of preaching.

    Celem artykułu jest interpretacja realizacji biblijnego motywu grzechu pierworodnego w dwóch staropolskich apokryfach. Interesuje mnie relacja między omawianymi fragmentami utworów: sceną opisującą naturę grzechu Adama i sceną kuszenia Chrystusa na pustyni. Przeprowadzone analizy pozwalają wskazać, w jaki sposób myślano o grzechu pierworodnym, jakie są relacje treściowe i źródłowe między utworami, a także pokazują funkcję egzegetyczną tych opisów.
    The aim of the paper is to interpret the implementation of the biblical motif of original sin in two Old-Polish apocrypha. I am interested in the relation between the discussed fragments of the works: the scene describing the nature of Adamic sin and the scene of Christ’s temptation in the desert. The analyses carried out make it possible to indicate how original sin was thought about, what are the content and source relations between the works, and to show the exegetical function of these descriptions.

    Rozmyślanie przemyskie to XVI-wieczny, liczący 426 kart, całkowicie pozbawiony interpunkcji apokryf. W artykule przedstawiono analizę wybranych różnic interpunkcyjnych w dwóch wydaniach tego zabytku: Chrestomatii staropolskiej i w tzw. wydaniu fryburskim. Znaki interpunkcyjne, wstawiane przez wydawców w transkrypcjach, są ilustracją ich zrozumienia składni zabytku, a co za tym idzie mają charakter interpretacyjny. Zaproponowaną w wydaniach interpunkcję należy zatem traktować jako głos w dyskusji, a nie jako jedyne źródło rozwiązań składniowych.
    Rozmyślanie przemyskie [The Przemyśl Meditation] is a 16th-century apocrypha, comprising 426 cards, and completely devoid of punctuation. The article presents an analysis of selected punctuation differences in the two editions of this text: Chrestomatiastaropolska and the Freiburg edition. Punctuation inserted by publishers in transcriptions, illustrate their understanding of the syntax of the text. They are interpretations. Punctuation proposed in the editions under analysis should be treated as a voice in discussion, and not as the only source of syntactic solution.

    The article is a scientific review of the book entitled Rozmyślanie przemyskie (The Przemyśl Meditation) edited by Jerzy Bartmiński, Artur Timofiejew, published in Przemyśl in 2016. The text discusses the structure of work and substantive content of individual 15 articles of researchers from various scientific centers in Poland, Russian and Ukraine. It can be noticed that the book has some innovative discoveries in the study of Polish literary heritage and plays an essential role in building scientific reflections not only on the subject of old Poland, but also Slavdom.
