Nous pouvons distinguer dans l’Ancien Testament trois groupes principaux de textes qui préparent à 1’enseignement sur la vie posthume et qui ne seront entièrement développès que dans le Nouveau Testament. Ce sont d’abord des textes qu i parlent des retrouvailles du mourant et de ses ancêtres, ensuite des textes qui expriment la conviction que Dieu possède un pouvoir sur la vie et sur la mort et, enfin, les Psaumes 16; 49; 73. II résulte de l’analyse de ces textes que la foi en la vie posthume — qui, dans la pensée de l’Ancien Testament, n’est point liée avec l’espoir du salut ou d’une récompense — prend ses racines dans les plus anciennes assises de la pensée religieuse d’Israel.

Pre-sensitized (PS) plates are specially treated and coated aluminium sheets, widely used for offset printing. PS plates used in the Computer to Plate technology require strict quality control of the plate’s edges, disturbed during various finishing processes like cutting on guillotines or slitting. For this purpose a special tests stand had been built by the Silesian University of Technology, in cooperation with one of the largest PS plates manufacturer in the world - FUJIFILM. The paper describes the software, written for the purpose of evaluation of various defects caused during finishing processes.

The Book of Psalms describes God as righteous. The aim of this article is to answer the question whether one can speak of the injustice of God in the Psalms. First, the author tries to draw some conclusions from the statistics of words describing God’s righteousness. Then, he summarizes the studies dealing with the topic in question. Next, he analyses the four Psalms that speak more or less directly about the injustice of God (Ps 44 , 69, 88, 89). At the end, the author attempts to answer the question what the genre of the psalms has to do with talking about an unjust God. The final conclusions include the following statements: 1) generally the Psalms do not speak about unjust God; 2) the exceptions are a sign of an extremely dramatic situation of the nation; 3) injustice is seen as a temporal problem and therefore resolvable ; 4) God’s injustice may involve a curse addressed to an enemy; 5) death is the only limitation of the justice of God.

Celem artykułu jest analiza trzech dyskusyjnych aspektów świadectwa w psalmach: obecności terminu עֵדוּת ‘ēdût w tytułach psalmów (Ps 60,1; 80,1), rozumienia, kim jest świadek w Ps 89,38 oraz tłumaczenia terminu עֵדוּת  ‘ēdût w Ps 119. Najpierw autor syntetycznie prezentuje to, co Psalmy mówią na temat świadectwa (pkt 1). Następnie zajmuje się analizą terminu עֵדוּת ‘ēdût w tytułach psalmów, w której dochodzi do wniosku, iż termin ten należy interpretować jako niezależną część tytułu i tłumaczyć jako „świadectwo” (pkt 2). W kolejnej części przedstawia dotychczasowe propozycje egzegetów rozumienia, kim jest świadek w Ps 89,38 (tęcza, słońce, księżyc, tron, Bóg) oraz proponuje nową interpretację mesjańską (pkt 3). W ostatniej części, po prezentacji stanu tłumaczeń, proponuje interpretację עֵדוּת  ‘ēdût w Ps 119 jako terminu technicznego i oddawania go zawsze terminem „świadectwo”.
The aim of this article is to analyze three difficult aspects of testimony in the Book of Psalms: (1) the term עֵדוּת‘ēdût in the titles of certain Psalms (Ps 60:1; 80:1); (2) understanding who or what is referred to as a witness in Ps 89:38; and (3) the proper translation of עֵדוּת ‘ēdût, and its meaning, in its multiple uses in Ps 119.  First, as background, the author synthetically depicts what the psalms say generally regarding the notion of testimony. Proceeding to the focal issues, he first analyzes עֵדוּת ‘ēdût in the titles of the two psalms and concludes that the term should be interpreted as an independent title and translated as “testimony”. The next section presents the current understandings of who or what is a witness in Ps 89:38 (rainbow, sun, moon, throne, God), and proposes a new messianic interpretation. In the final part, after the presentation of various translations, the author suggests interpreting עֵדוּת ‘ēdût in Psalm 119 as a technical term, properly translated in Psalm 119 always as “testimony”.

The paper describes an original technique for non-contact in situ monitoring of the temperature developed for experiments in a vacuum environment at the tender X-ray beamline I23 of the Diamond Light Source. The sample temperature is established by determining the luminescence decay constant of a Bi₄Ge₃O₁₂ (BGO) scintillation sensor. BGO is ideally suited for a temperature range of 30 K to 130 K, in which its decay constant shows a strong temperature dependence. The principle of the method, system design and application examples are discussed and the performance and potential of the technique is assessed.

The purpose of the work was to determine the infuence of the bulk density ρz of granules, processing parameters and the density of ski inserts ρw made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) on their damping properties. For this aim liners for ski helmets with 3 different bulk densities were made. Sintering time and sintering pressure were also changed. The percentage damping factor η was determined on the basis of the results obtained in the rebound resilience test. Based on the analysis of the obtained data, it was found that increasing the density of EPS pads ρw increases their damping properties and at the same time contributes to a decrease in elasticity, increase in hardness and brittleness of EPS products.

The article presents an analysis of one of the Psalms of Asaph - Ps 77. The main purpose of the study is to show the dependence between the structure of the text and its interpretation, the impact of text division on ascertaining its message. With this aim in view different propositions of exegetes are set forth, their standpoints falling into two groups. On the one hand they divide Ps 77 according to the following criteria: the ‘selah’ pause or the generic features of the text - this approach results in demonstrating the nonuniformity of Ps 77. On the other hand, some exegetes claim that the analyzed text contains features that allow us to consider it as a uniform whole. The division of Ps 77 proposed in the article is based firstly on formal criteria and secondly on content criteria. Finally, a synthesis of both types of division is achieved and serves as a basis of interpretation. In this way it becomes possible to show: the dynamism of the content of Ps 77, its major themes, its reflective character, the image of a gracious but at the same time also mighty God, and the parenthetical features of the psalm.

La rivelazione divina è il dialogo iniziato da Dio nella storia della salvezza. In questo particolare dialogo, oltre al posto riservato alla Parola di Dio, c’è anche lo spazio per la voce dell’uomo. In questo reciproco scambio di relazioni e di idee, un posto particolare occupano i Salmi che sviluppano i principali temi dell’Antico Testamento. Uno di essi è la teologia del „riposo” nel Salmo 95. Il vero riposo si realizza nel tempio, durante la celebrazione liturgica come pure nel giorno di sabato, quando ha il luogo l’incontro tra l’uomo e Dio. Il riposo cosí concepito, ci fa pregustare il cielo già qui sulla terra.

L’analisi del Sal 96, inno tripartito (vv.1-6; 7-10; 11-13) che loda Dio, si focalizza in particolare su tre inviti a proclamare la buona novella (vv.2.3.10). L’articolo evidenzia l’apertura universale della proclamazione in base all’ampiezza dei suoi locutori («tutta la terra») e destinatari («le genti», «tutti i popoli») e fa emergere il messaggio teologico incentrato sulla signoria di Yhwh. Lo studio individua inoltre le modalità dell’annuncio. L’attività degli annunciatori è costante, abbraccia il passato, il presente e il futuro; essa è qualificata con tre aggettivi: araldica, narrativa, informativa, e conferma Yhwh, re e protettore di tutti i popoli, con il canto e con la gioiosa celebrazione.

The basic system of chemiluminescence investigations of relevant biological and inorganic compounds consists of Eu(II)/Eu(III) - H$\text{}_{2}$O$\text{}_{2}$. In these studies the increase in Eu(III) ion emission intensity usually results from an effective complexation reaction. In the present study, the N$\text{}_{3}^{-}$ ions are used as a ligand. The increase in the chemiluminescence intensity of the Eu(III) ion, the pH influence (in the range of 4.5-7.5) on the chemiluminescence intensity of the Eu(III) ion, as well as the quenching of the $\text{}^{5}$D$\text{}_{0}$ excited state of the Eu(III) ion are observed due to N$\text{}_{3}^{-}$ complexation. Taking into account the well-known Fenton system [Fe(II)/Fe(III) - H$\text{}_{2}$O$\text{}_{2}$], containing additionally the N$\text{}_{3}^{-}$, Eu(III) or Sm(III) ions, we found that the Eu(III) or Sm(III) ions were excited as a result of energy transfer process. A mechanism of the studied reactions is proposed.

L'articolo prende in esame il Sal 2, evidenziando anzitutto il principio dell'autorità regale presentato dal salmista. Il commento delle singole parti del salmo (vv.1-3; 4-9; 10-12) si incentra sulle relazioni tra Dio e il re di Israele, facendo emergere il ruolo di questultimo quale plenipotenziario e vassallo di Yhwh. Infine, l'analisi si sofferma sulla recezione del Sal 2 nel NT e in quattro Padri della Chiesa (Atanasio, Agostino, Ilario, Eusebio), ponendo in rilievo la particolare attenzione che l'interpretazione neotestamentaria e patristica dà al dominio di Cristo.

Opis:
Oxide crystal scintillators play a considerable role in fundamental and applied researches. However, working out of new generation of high-sensitivity equipment and new methods of research puts higher requirements. The $ZnBO_{4}$ (B = W, Mo) crystals were grown from charge in platinum crucibles with high frequency heating, using the Czochralski method. The raw powder with optimum composition was prepared by solid phase high temperature synthesis using ZnO and $BO_{3}$ (B = W, Mo) with 4-5N purity. Single crystals with sizes up to ∅ 50 × 100 mm were grown and scintillation elements of various sizes and shapes (cylinders, rectangular and hexahedron prisms) were produced. High spectrometric characteristics were obtained for $ZnWO_{4}:R$ = 8-10% under excitation by $\text{}^{137}Cs (E_{γ}$=662 keV), low radiation background (less than 0.2 mBq/kg) and low afterglow (0.002%, 20 ms after excitation). The obtained results demonstrate good prospects for $ZnWO_{4}$ and ZnMoO_{4} crystal scintillators for application in low-count rate experiments, searching for double beta decay processes, interaction with dark matter particles, and also studies of rare decay processes. The material has also a good potential for application in modern tomography, scintillation bolometers and for other major researches using scintillators.

The paper presents the results of investigation of element composition of CuInSe₂ (CIS) compounds obtained by vertical Bridgman technique and on a glass substrate by the thermal deposition of Cu-In thin films with the subsequent annealing in selenium vapour. The paper presents our recent investigations of the early stage growth of titanium silicides on a modified Si(100) substrate. The substrate was modified by deposition of a minute amount of Ni atoms, and the subsequent flash annealing. This process led to the creation of parallel defect lines on the Si(100) surface. We expected TiSi_2 to form elongated structures on top and/or between the defect lines. Though this idea failed, stable nanostructures were observed and characterized using scanning probe microscopy (scanning tunneling microscopy and atomic force microscopy) methods.

PbSnS thin films were prepared by hot-wall vacuum evaporation. The Rutherford backscattering technique was employed for the investigation of $Pb_{x}Sn_{1 - x}S$ thin films composition. With a help of atomic force microscopy the main stages in the development of the thin films were characterized. Contact angle measurements of water drop on $Pb_{x}Sn_{1 - x}S$ thin films have been conducted on our original setup.

However, recent studies have emerged to provide scientifically-based guides for technology transfer in recognition of the fact that technology transfer is important for global advancement. Along with these studies, this research aims to present a systematic methodology, called the Four Rationales of Technology Transfer, for identifying the risks of technology transfer. This methodology is derived from an empirical study conducted on 50 recently-implemented technology transfer projects. With the proposal of the methodology of Four Rationales of Technology Transfer and the presentation of the results of the empirical study, it is the hope of this research that future activities of technology transfer will become more successful.

The author of this paper tries to prove that the origins of Christian drama shouldn’t be sought in Latin liturgical drama crystalized in 9th and 10th century – as it is commonly accepted – but rather much earlier: in Eastern dramatized patristic homilies of 5th, 6th and 7th century. All fully dramatized homilies of those days are arranged in three groups: The homilies about John the Baptist and the Baptism of Jesus Christ; The homilies about descending of Jesus Christ into the abyss and liberation of those who are righteous from hell; Homilies about the Annunciation of Blessed Virgin Mary – most numerous texts. In this article only homilies from group 1 and group 2 are analyzed. The eight most dramatized speeches from these two groups were chosen. From these homilies some fragments or full parts of dialogs are chosen and quoted, as examples of dramatic action, shown in the clearest way (containing the fullness of psychological expression and motion, rhetorically built dialogs of Biblical characters). These parts are explained and commented in the context of the idea of drama proposed by Origen (Commentarius in Cantica Canticorum. Prologus 1, 1-3; I 1, 1-2). From Group 1, the author of this article presents two homilies: Homilia in Sanctam Theophaniam (which authorship is mistakenly assigned to St. Gregory the Wonderworker) and Homilia de baptismo Christi [CPG 5520] of Pseudo- Eusebius of Alexandria. From Group 2 six speeches are chosen. Five of them are written by Pseudo- Eusebius of Alexandria. They make specific cycle, known as Eusebian cycle of descending Christ into the abyss. This cycle – in its contents and structure – is a rhetorical amplification of apocryphal Evangelium Nicodemi (17-27) and Quaestiones S. Bartholomaei Apostoli (I 1-9). These homilies are summarized by the author of this paper. These five Eusebian homilies are completed with well-known Homilia de divini corporis sepultura et de Christi adventu in infernum [CPG 3768] of anonymous author. This last one is quoted on the Holy Saturday in the Liturgy of the Hours (II 386-388). According to some modern authors (i.e. G. La Piana), all these six homilies seem to set up the Christian Passion Drama in three acts (A-C). The structure of this drama is as follows. At the beginning we have well documented theological introduction about descensus in inferos. Then we have three acts with following homilies (first five of them are written by Pseudo-Eusebius of Alexandria): A. Descending of John the Baptist to the abyss to prepare those who are righteous for the coming of Christ: Homilia in illud: „Tu es qui venturus es, an alium exspectamus” [CPG 5521] and Homilia de adventu Joannis in infernum et de ibi inclusis [CPG 5522]; B. The Judas’ betrayal, imprisonment of Jesus and the dread of rulers of the underworld – Satan and Hades – after they have heard about coming of Christ: De proditione Judae [CPG 5523] and Homilia in Diabolum et Hadem [CPG 5524]; C. The Passion and Death of Christ and his descending into the abyss: Homilia de Christi passione [CPG 5526] and Homilia in divini corporis sepultura et de Christi adventu in infernum [CPG 3768]. The numerous and widely presented fragments of dramatized homilies – completed with highly quoted literature of subject – seem to convince clearly, that the origins of Christian drama (reconstructed in unspecified way during the liturgy in the Church) could be reasonably sought as far as in patristic dramatized homily of 6th and 7th century.

Dass Psalm 110 zur Gruppe der Königspsalmen gehört, ist längst anerkannte Tatsache. Auch sind sich die Exegeten weitgehend darüber einig, dass er die Situation der Thronbesteigung schildert. Die Meinungsverschiedenheiten beginnen schon, wenn es um Fragen der Datierung oder des historischen wie religionsgeschichtlichen Hintergrundes und Zusammenhanges geht. Hinsichtlich der Datierung umfassen die gegebenen Antworten bekanntlich den Zeitraum von der frühen Königzeit bis zur makkabäischen Epoche. Der Psalm könne auf die Inthronisation Davids, Salomos oder sogar Simon gewidmet worden sein, vielleicht sogar auch auf die Amtsübernahme des künftigen Messiaskönig hinweisen. Kurzum, der Psalm bittet viele Möglichkeiten von Antworten, die allerdings in keinem Falle ein einer ganz bestimmten Situation einfügbares Bild ergeben. Dass der Psalm 110 gleichzeitig dem König und dem Priester gewidmet ist, es scheint, die messianische Erklärung die wahrscheinlichste zu sein.

Was für eine Hoffnung kann ein sündiger Mensch haben? Diese Frage orientiert unsere Lektüre vom Psalm 130. Die Analyse der Struktur sucht nach der Dynamik der Hoffnung. Sie entsteht in der dialogischen Beziehung des menschlichen Sündenbewußtseins mit dem barmherzigen Gott. Der Psalmist entdeckt als Fundament seiner Hoffnung Gottes Vergebung, Gnade und Erlösung. Deshalb erlebt er noch inmitten des Erwartens auf Gottes Wort der Vergebung seine Sicherheit bezüglich Gottes heilenden Eingreifens.

W pracy analizowano moýliwoúci powtórnego wykorzystania wyrobów z polipropylenu i polistyrenu po zakończonym okresie ich uýytkowania. Przedstawione zostaůy wyniki pomiarów DSC oraz TG niemieszajŕcych sić kompozycji PP/PS o róýnych stosunkach wagowych. Omówiono wpůyw wielokrotnego przetwórstwa w linii wytůaczarskiej oraz zawartoúci polipropylenu na zmianć temperatury zeszklenia polistyrenu oraz jego stabilnoúci termicznej w przetwarzanej wielokrotnie mieszaninie.
In this paper ability of repeated utilization of polypropylene and polystyrene products after end-of-use period is analyzed. The results of DSC and TG investigations dealing with PP/PS immiscible blends of different components' weight ratio are presented. An influence of reprocessing in extruder line, polypropylene content in the composition on changes of glass transition temperatures and mixture thermal stability is discussed.

In Psalm 103, God is portrayed as full of mercy, slow to anger. The author asks himself: how can one conciliate the picture of God who in His mercy heals the sinner with the image of God who is angry. The author analyzes several ways in which God's mercy is revealed in relation to the sinner and various forms of sin. Mercy means God's way of leading man away from evil, from the sin of pride, and particularly idolatry. Sins, which destroy man and tear him away from God arouse anger in God. The autbor proves that God, in showing mercy to man who realizes the effects of his sins and calls to Him, removes in this way the cause o f His anger. There are two images of God in Psalm 103 and in other Old Testament texts which are not in contradiction: a God of mercy and a God of anger. However, they should be seen dynamically: anger invokes mercy, which is always possible then, when man turns to God, who is God of the Covenant.

Der Autor liefert eine eigene Rekonstruktion und Übertragung des in Ps 18 einkomponierten archaischen Theophaniefragments. Er bespricht zuerst dessen Platz in der Struktur des ganzen Psalms und liefert dann einen umfangreichen philologisch-exegetischen Kommentar. Besonders ausführlich berücksichtigt er die Wort- und Begrifsparalellen zu den mythologischen Texten von Ras Shamra. Auf dieser Grundlage kommt er zu der Schlussfolgerung, dass das Werk in der Frühzeit der Monarchie in Israel komponiert wurde (10. - 9. Jahrhundert v. Chr.). während das Theophaniefragment aus der Zeit der Unterwerfung Kanaans stammen kann.
