Opis:: The present study is an attempt to apply statistical methods in investigating the vocabulary of Old Bulgarian on the basis of lexical material from the Historical Palaea. Tables and charts are used to present a glotometric characterization of the lexical material under study. A comparison is made with data from other Old Bulgarian written monuments that have already been the object of similar studies.

Opis:: This paper presents the results of translatological research into Teresa Dąbek-Wirgowa and Agata Kawecka’s translations of the Old Church Slavonic apocrypha “The Life of Adam and Eve” into modern Polish. The two texts were examined independently of each other, since they do not form a translation series. The translations were compared with the Bulgarian and Old Church Slavonic sources, which made it possible to follow closely how the translators applied the fundamental techniques of translation. Using selected examples, the article discusses the types of translation transformations used, and characterises the dominant elements presented in the translations. Some errors are also pointed out, especially those that change the meaning of the translated text. The final part of the paper contains general conclusions about the translators’ work and indicates possible directions of future research, including further research into anthologies of ancient literature as translations and into the skills exhibited by translators of such literature.
Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań translatologicznych nad przekładami staro-cerkiewno-słowiańskiego apokryfu Słowo o Adamie i Ewie na współczesny język polski, których autorkami są Teresa Dąbek-Wirgowa i Agata Kawecka. Oba teksty zostały zbadane niezależnie od siebie, ponieważ nie tworzą serii przekładowej. Przekłady zestawiono ze źródłami (bułgarskim oraz staro-cerkiewno-słowiańskim), co umożliwiło dokładne prześledzenie sposobu pracy tłumaczek z podstawami tłumaczenia. W artykule na wybranych przykładach zostały omówione typy transformacji przekładowych wykorzystane przez tłumaczki, a ponadto przedstawiono charakterystykę dominant obecnych w przekładach. Wskazano także nieliczne błędy, w tym przede wszystkim te, które zmieniają sens tłumaczonego tekstu. W podsumowaniu przedstawiono ogólne wnioski dotyczące pracy tłumaczek oraz perspektywy badawcze obejmujące dalsze badania nad antologiami literatury dawnej jako przekładami oraz nad warsztatem tłumaczy tej literatury.

Opis:: The paper presents an analysis and survey of the content of digitized copies of three school mathematics books published in the Bulgarian language during the first half of the 19th century. The study offers the first overview and outline of the pedagogical approaches used to teach mathematics through mathematical term formation in that period based on the text of school mathematics books. The analysis includes a comparative description of the approach and study content as well as related topics and exercises connected to them. Finally, a conclusion regarding the structure and origin of the terms used to teach mathematical concepts in the Bulgarian language at the time is outlined.
W artykule przedstawiono analizę treści zdigitalizowanych kopii trzech podręczników z matematyki, opublikowanych w języku bułgarskim w pierwszej połowie XIX wieku. Badanie stanowi pierwszy w swoim rodzaju przegląd podejść pedagogicznych stosowanych w nauczaniu matematyki z punktu widzenia tworzenia terminów matematycznych. Analiza zawiera porównawczy opis podręczników pod względem podejścia i treści, jak również związanych z nimi tematów i ćwiczeń. Na koniec przedstawiono wniosek dotyczący struktury i pochodzenia terminów używanych do nauczania pojęć matematycznych w języku bułgarskim w badanym okresie.
