“Report on the archives in Nieśwież” of November 6th, 1857, was a description of the inventory work conducted in this archive in the years 1854–1857. It was submitted by Ludwik Rodziewicz for acceptance to the Radziwiłłs’ archivist Romuald Symonowiczowi. Later this report was to be forwarded to the superiors, i.e. Wittgensteins and Radziwiłłs. In the published source the attention is drawn to the archivists’ way of thinking, adopted by them priorities and suggestions regarding the archival description details as well as planning and scope of the records registration. This was a part of the archive-creating process associated with the inventory work carried out by archivists Romuald Symonowicz and Michał Szyszko Bohusz. “Report on the archives in Nieśwież” gives detailed answers to the questions: 1) Who and why collected and stored the archival records, 2) how the process of appraisal looked like, 3) How it was cared about the archives and how the records were ordered, and 4) How the records were used in the magnate archive in Nieśwież in the late 19. c.

The 'Nieśwież Academy' International Postgraduate Summer School was founded in 1995 upon the basis of an agreement about training specialists in the protection of historical parks and gardens as well as the cultural landscape, signed by the Institute of Culture of Belarus in Minsk and the Centre for the Protection of the Historical Landscape in Warsaw. Patronage over the undertaking was entrusted to the ministers of culture of Poland and Belarus. Since 2003, when the agreement was prolonged, the partners include the State Belarusian Institute of Culture in Minsk and the National Heritage Board of Poland (formerly known as the National Centre for the Study and Documentation of Historical Monuments in Warsaw). The 'Nieśwież Academy' International Postgraduate Summer School trains graduates of schools of higher learning from Central-Eastern European countries professionally involved in the protection and conservation of historical monuments. The courses are conducted in two-year cycles, starting in the summer in Belarus and ending in the following year in Poland. So far 13 such courses have been held. The first part of the thirteenth course took place in July 2007 in Minsk (Belarus). Its main theme was 'The use of historical buildings and complexes for the purposes of tourism' and the theoretical courses were supplemented by field trips. The second part was organized in Poland in September 2007. The course included a field trip associated with the protection and shaping of the cultural landscape. The closing ceremony was held at the Myślewicki Palace in the Royal Łazienki in Warsaw, with the students of the 'Nieśwież Academy' receiving their graduation diplomas.

Pozycja Radziwiłłów ordynatów na Nieświeżu wyrażała się w koligacjach, pełnionych urzędach, posiadanym majątku i wpływach politycznych. W celu określenia ich pozycji najistotniejsze jest przedstawienie ich wpływów politycznych, które zmieniały się w ciągu całego wieku. Tu omówiono zmiany pozycji trzech kolejnych ordynatów: kanclerza Karola Stanisława, hetmana Michała Kazimierza i wojewody Karola Stanisława, który zdobył największą popularność i pozycję polityczną.
The position of the Radziwiłł ordinats (principal heirs) of Nieśwież was expressed in affinities, offices, property and political influence. To determine their position, it is important to present their political influence, which has changed over the entire century. Here, the author discusses changes of the position of three successive ordinats: Chancellor Karol Stanisław, hetman Michał Kazimierz and voivode Karol Stanisław, who won the highest popularity and political position.
