Opis:: We extend results of Campbell of the linear systems of differential equations A x ̇+ Bx=f when A and B are rectangular, and results of Kanan of solution of a class of singular linear systems of difference equations A x_(n+1)+ Bx_n=f_n when A and B are square, to such systems of difference equations when A and B are rectangular. Explicit solutions of the last one are derived for several cases. One such is, when the matrix (λA+B) is one-to-one, another case is when such matrix is onto, for a scalar λ∈C. Also, explicit solutions are derived for the case that A is onto, and for the case that B is onto.

Rectangular Matrix
The Moore-Penrose Generalized Inverse
Opis:: In this work, we introduce a new method in cryptography. It is using the Moore-Penrose generalized inverse of a rectangular matrix to the cryptographic system. We use a rectangular matrix which has the Moore-Penrose generalized inverse as a key. We mean, the rectangular matrix which has full row rank, or the rectangular matrix which has full column rank, or the rectangular matrix which has full factorization.

Opis:: The usual vector cross product of the three-dimensional Euclidian space is considered from an algebraic point of view. It is shown that many proofs, known from analytical geometry, can be distinctly simplified by using the matrix oriented approach. Moreover, by using the concept of generalized matrix inverse, we are able to facilitate the analysis of equations involving vector cross products.
