- This article shows the results assessment of the impact of various reclamation methods with the use of mineral wool and municipal sewage sludge on chemical and biological indicators, which have an impact on the improvement of the quality of soil degraded by sulfur well mining. The results of the research showed that the type of waste together with it application method, had a beneficial effect on the shaping of the chemical and biological properties of soil. The most favorable effect was noted in the conditions of combining mineral wool with sewage sludge. At this work we used the PHYTOTOXIKIT biological test, as an indicator of the ecotoxicological effect of selected waste added, for the efficiency of the soil remediation process.
