    Aim. The present study aims at foregrounding the importance of language and discourses advanced to suppress the voices of dissent and minorities. The subtle art of stimulating a psychologically suppressed identity or subjective violence is either through making or mocking historical facts, cultures, and human activities manifesting the concept of authoritarian democracy. Further, the aim of the study is to grasp the sense of constraints between universality and particularity that denounces the ‘reassertion of identity,’ among Indian Muslims. Moreover, the study judiciously examines disguised ‘mechanisms’ employed under authoritarian politics, tech-populism and journalism intending to promote businesses, dissemination of misinformation and contributes to creating an apocryphal human history, social alienation, and to discrediting an individual’s spontaneity.Concept. The innate unity in a democratic society can be actualised either by envisaging or by translating the texts, thoughts, language and actions, which are altogether conceiving distinctive meanings to morality, ethnicity and culture having its relevance in the contemporary context. The paper features multiple trends/cases of how a single-party monologue has weakened pluralism along with the domination of othering the ‘Others’ under racial, cultural, and national particularism. The paper qualitatively investigates different incidents of transcreation of discourse in establishing or reclaiming the identity contextualised in Frantz Fanon’s declaration of ‘reclaiming the past.’Results and conclusion. An ingenious discussion on dynamic languages, cultures and action enriches with time and individual incidents are discussed in the study. It re-evaluates the significance of revisiting the history to reclaim, reform, and reconstruct malleable identity and ideologies that take years to build, improvise and restore diversityabove majoritarian dogmatism in India.  Originality. An inquiry into how thoughts, languages, and human action intertwined are to build a complaisant or contemptuous human identity is the idea behind the article. Indeed, the study’s originality depends on sorting and revisiting numerous dimensions of translation and transcreation of languages, linguistic structure, ideology,and political intent in recent times, either subjugating or falsifying facts against the marginalized in India. The attempt is based on analyzing how the shift in knowledge, culture and social identity construction supersede the less powerful. It is practiced through utilizing tech support, popular mass culture and evolves a discourse to manipulate andmobilize human consciousness for commercial and political gains.

    Recent years have seen tremendous growth of interest in narrative approaches to research in both the social sciences and the humanities. Much of this research focuses on the stories of individuals and how they tell them. This article addresses the contribution of a symbolic interactionist approach to develop the “collective story” (Richardson 1990) through the use of sensitizing concepts. It focuses on research on the experience of widows, widowers, and Iranian Bahá’í refugees to Canada to demonstrate how one can use sensitizing concepts to craft a collective story of members of marginalized populations that sit at the bottom of the “hierarchy of credibility” (Becker 1967).

    The article examines the representation of a vampire figure in contemporary culture, in particular within the framework of the gothic convention. In particular, the paper focuses on stories in which the vampire — as the classic Other — appears in social relationships.     The article presented here presents the most important state measures directed at Roma and marginalized communities during the CoOVID-19 pandemic. In March 2020, a state of emergency was declared in Slovakia in connection with the spread of the pandemic, which for the residents of the Slovak Republic resulted in an immediate restriction of contacts, manifested in the closure of all types of schools, institutions and many workplaces. The mandatory mass quarantine of entire marginalized communities has raised NGO concerns about the equal treatment of people living in Roma communities in Slovakia. It is estimated that up to 70 percent of Roma children were not receiving distance education during the first wave of the pandemic, and up to 60 percent had no contact with an educator. Technical equipment, access to educational systems, but also Internet coverage in cities and municipalities became obstacles to education.
    Prezentowany artykuł przedstawia najważniejsze działania państwa skierowane wobec Romów i marginalizowanych społeczności podczas pandemii COVID-19. W marcu 2020 roku na Słowacji został ogłoszony stan wyjątkowy w związku z rozprzestrzeniającą się pandemią, która dla mieszkańców Republiki Słowackiej skutkowała natychmiastowym ograniczeniem kontaktów, przejawiającym się zamknięciem wszystkich typów szkół, placówek i wielu miejsc pracy. Obowiązkowa masowa kwarantanna całych marginalizowanych społeczności wzbudziła obawy organizacji pozarządowych co do równego traktowania osób żyjących w społecznościach romskich na Słowacji. Szacunkowo nawet 70% romskich dzieci nie było objętych edukacją na odległość podczas pierwszej fali pandemii, a do 60% nie miało kontaktu z pedagogiem. Wyposażenie techniczne, dostęp do systemów edukacyjnych, ale także zasięg Internetu w miastach i gminach stały się przeszkodami w edukacji.

    W literaturze przedmiotu wskazuje się̨, że najskuteczniejszą formą pomocy osobom marginalizowanym społecznie jest podejście aktywizujące z indywidualizacją świadczenia usług. Dlatego też zasadniczym celem asysty rodzinnej jest m.in. udzielanie pomocy w uruchamianiu odpowiednich sił i umiejętności w darzeniu do zmiany funkcjonowania rodziców, a tym samym do poprawy jakości ich rodzicielstwa i (re)integracji społecznej wszystkich członków rodziny. Przywracanie zdolności jednostek i grup społecznych do pełnego uczestnictwa w życiu społecznym jest zgodnie z ideą empowerment - kluczowego warunku efektywności pracy z rodziną. W artykule zaprezentowano standard pracy asystenta rodziny (przykład „dobrych praktyk”) oraz najważniejsze wnioski i rekomendacje wynikające z ewaluacji systemu pracy z rodziną z wieloma problemami w ramach asysty rodzinnej.
    The relevant source literature shows that the activating approach combined with customized provision of services ensures the most effective form of assistance for socially marginalized persons. Therefore, one of the primary aims of family assistance is to provide help in activating appropriate resources and skills while striving to change the functioning of parents with a view of improving the quality of their parenthood and fostering social (re)integration of all family members. Restoring the ability of individuals and social groups to participate fully in social life is consistent with the idea of empowerment - the key requirement for an effective work with families. This article presents the working standards of the family assistant (an example of “good practices”) as well as key conclusions and recommendations from the evaluation of the system of working with multi-problem families under the family assistance scheme.

    Analysis of the opportunities, constraints and prospects of pre-primary education of children from marginalized Roma communities was, is and will be the subject of many studies and constructive solutions at different levels of responsibility entities. All positive solutions and results in this area are a step closer to the inclusive education in kindergarten. Theoretical considerations, research findings and practical experiences of teachers are used to formulate key actions for successful pre-primary education for children from marginalized Roma communities in the process of inclusive education. Musing on inclusive education of the study was replaced by pragmatic solutions in the form of concrete measures for the reality and for the vision of an inclusive education of children from marginalized Roma communities in kindergartens.

    W artykule zaprezentowano analizy uzyskanych wyników badań przeprowadzonych wśród marginalizowanych Romów słowackich przy użyciu systemu wartości ludzkich Shaloma H. Schwartza (1992). Rezultaty tych badań mogą być przydatne w wielu aspektach życia publicznego, w formułowaniu metodologii systemu szkolnego i w formułowaniu wytycznych dotyczących Romów, w opiece zdrowotnej i usługach medycznych, we wzmacnianiu prewencji problemów dla szczególnych terenów segregowanych. Rozpatrując różne typy społeczności romskich, wyniki badań w obrębie systemu wartości Romów i jego potencjalne zróżnicowanie mogą stanowić empirycznie weryfikowalne kryterium homogeniczności etnicznej i kulturowej badanej etniczności na Słowacji. Mogą one także przyczynić się do rozwiania stereotypów i uprzedzeń większości wobec ludności romskiej.
    The paper presents a study among marginalized Slovak Roma, carried out using the universal human value system of Schwartz (1992). The study and its results may be applied in many aspects of public life, in the formation of methodology in the school system and also in the formation of the education directives concerning Roma people, in healthcare and health service, and for the enhancement of the prevention of diseases typical for a specific segregated area. The research results within the value system of Roma people and its potential differences, with account for various Roma communities, may constitute the empirically verifiable criterion of ethnic and cultural homogeneity of the mentioned ethnicity in Slovakia. They may contribute to dispelling stereotypes and prejudices of the majority towards the Roma people.

    The author reflects on the social divisions that — as sociologists have long predicted — can presently be observed in Poland. The author sees the source of the phenomenon in the mechanism of relative deprivation, which leads to disappointed expectations, or to people’s assessment of their own social or material situation as being worse in comparison to a reference group such as their contemporaries, neighbors, an elite, or a ruling class. Such a situation creates anger — here the author reaches for Sloterdijk’s concept — which is accumulated in “anger banks,” that is, in organizations or milieus that thrive on that anger. In the author’s opinion, this is the nature of the current Polish political scene. What is involved is the collective defense of individual and group dignity. The broad support accorded PiS (the Law and Justice party) in the 2015 elections should be analyzed in terms of the reacquisition of dignity by those who have been overlooked. However, the operating mode of the anger banks means that what previously occurred by omission and deafness is presently taking on the dangerous form of insulting and stigmatizing those who think differently. The author concludes that what is needed today, by all sides of the conflict, is a lesson in self-respect and respect for one’s opponents, the reconstruction of social relations within the community, and learning how to listen to and respect the opinion of adversaries.
