    Opis:
    In this article, the author explores the question of the nature of the genre-poetic dialogue, in which N. Artymovich and A. Razanov take part. The author believes that Ales Razanov invents his own chronotopic picture of artistic consciousness: it seems that it is here and now the poet has a special vision of the inner subtext of Artymovich’s verses, which may be a logical response–continuation or auto-commentary to what has been read. Ales Razanov’s marginalia is an attempt to enter into N. Artymovich’s unread and misunderstood poems. The poet offers a reader a pattern, artistic paradigm of possible interpretation of his own literary texts. Such an understanding of poetic reality and an approach to the embodiment of close but strange words show the “marginal notes” of A. Razanov’s book “Дзверы”.
    W artykule autorka analizuje cechy gatunkowe i poetyckie dialogu między N. Artymowicz a A. Razanovem. Zdaniem autorki Ales Razanov opracowała swój indywidualny chronotyp świadomości artystycznej; wydaje się, że tu i teraz posiada poeta swoja wizję wewnętrznego subtekstu utworu N. Artymowicz, która może stanowić logiczna odpowiedź-kontynuację lub autokomentarz tego co zostało przeczytane. Notatki na marginesie Alesia Razanova są próbą wejścia w nieprzeczytane, nieprzyswojone i niezrozumiane wiersze N. Artymowicz. Poeta proponuje wzór, artystyczny paradygmat, możliwą interpretację swoich tekstów. Takie rozumienie rzeczywistości poetyckiej, podejścia do ucieleśnienia obcego lecz bardzo bliskiego słowa prezentują notatki na marginesie w książce „Дзверы” A. Razanova.

    Tadeusz Różewicz moved from Gliwice to Wrocław in 1968. He lived near South Park for many years and he regularly met there with the author of this article. They talked about many different things and current events, and especially about Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz, i.e. more specifically about his service in the tsarist army, the battle that took place near the Stokhid in June 1916 in which he was severely wounded as well as about the causes of his suicide in September 1939. In 2003 Różewicz moved to a house on Promień Street, which is located in a remote area of the city. When he was moving to the new place he came across Witkacy’s 1919 treatise titled Nowe formy w malarstwie i wynikające stad nieporozumienia [New Forms in Painting and the Misunderstandings Arising Therefrom], which he had bought in October 1945 at a street stall in Warsaw. After a careful reading of the treatise (as evidenced by numerous underlines in the text), he decided to enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. The quotes that are presented in the article show that Różewicz paid particular attention to Witkacy’s main philosophical concepts (“metaphysical anxiety”) and statements about the end of metaphysics in the 20th century. Many notes and annotations in the margins, some of which are cited in the present article, are evidence of Witkacy’s critical reading of Leon Chwistek’s “Wielość rzeczywistości w sztuce” i inne szkice literackie [The Multiplicity of Realities in Art and Other Literary Sketches]. In 1975 Anna Micińska published, based on a manuscript that had been discovered, the sociocultural study Niemyte dusze [Unwashed Souls] which Witkacy wrote in 1936 but which he did not manage to publish. Różewicz regarded this study as one of Witkacy’s most interesting works because it showed a whole different side of the artist – a citizen who was concerned about the condition of Polish society and the Polish state.

    The subject of the article is the phenomenon of handwritten notes on the pages of old prints. Due to their astonishing variety, these notes constitute source material with great research potential, well beyond the history of reading and the history of the book as such. Using the previous observations obtained in the autopsy research with the use of the provenance method, the author presents a study of three examples and conclusions regarding the types of writing activity of owners and users of an antique book in the context of their individual approach to the book and reading. The issues were presented based on old prints materials from the collections of the Polish Academy of Sciences of the Gdańsk Library, taking into account the methodological issues related to obtaining provenance information from the collection of old prints, which in the discussed aspect are still insufficiently developed source data resources.

    The article discusses the content of marginal notations extracted from Bulgarian manuscripts from 10th–16th century containing comments on the process of writing. The author focuses on notations that not only refer to the conditions, under which medieval codes are produced, but above all refer to the physical act of creating the text itself. The glosses discussed in the article describe specific writing materials – parchment, paper, ink and feathers. Information extracted from these marginal notations is confronted with the current knowledge on medieval writing methods.
    W artykule poddano analizie glosy i marginalia zamieszczane w średniowiecznych rękopisach bułgarskich z X–XVI wieku, zawierające informacje o procesie pisania. Autorka tekstu omawia nie tylko warunki, w których powstawały średniowieczne kodeksy, ale skupia swą uwagę również na fizycznym akcie tworzenia tekstów. W omówionych w artykule glosach występują takie materiały piśmiennicze jak: pergamin, papier, pióra, atramenty. Wyekscerpowany przez autorkę materiał został przez niego zestawiony ze współczesną wiedzą o średniowiecznych metodach pisania.

    Artykuł został poświęcony przedstawieniom scen tańca pojawiającym się na marginesach średniowiecznych manuskryptów religijnych (takich jak psałterz, godzinki, brewiarz), powstałych w kręgu łacińskiego średniowiecza między połową XIII a XV w. Tekst jest oparty na kilku wybranych przykładach iluminacji, które przeanalizowane zostały przez pryzmat różnych kontekstów znaczeniowych tańca (m.in. wg podziału wywodzącego się z tradycji biblijnej na taniec „grzeszny” i „niebiański”). Autorka skupia się na funkcji marginaliów i ich relacjach z tekstem, na marginesie którego zostały namalowane. Wskazuje, że sceny są równorzędne wobec tekstu rękopisu i stanowią ważny element narracji. Odznaczają się walorami dydaktycznymi i moralizatorskimi, oferując czytelnikowi wzór do naśladowania bądź przestrogę. Iluminacje wzbogacają konteksty znaczeniowe rękopisu i sugerują sposoby odczytania tekstu.
    This article focuses on dance scenes present in the margins of medieval religious manuscripts (such as a psalter, a book of hours and a breviary) produced in the Latin Middle Ages between the mid-13th and the 15th century. The text discusses selected examples of illuminations, which are analysed with regard to the various semantic contexts of dance (among others, the division of dance into “sinful” and “heavenly” as derived from the biblical tradition). The author focuses on the function of the marginalia and their relationship to the text. She argues that the scenes are parallel to the text and constitute a significant part of the narrative. Imbued with didactic and moralistic values, they offer the reader either an example to follow or a warning. Illuminations enrich the semantic contexts of the manuscript and suggest the ways of reading the text.

    W artykule przedstawiono różne typy marginaliów znajdujących się w Rozmyślaniach dominikańskich – średniowiecznej narracji biblijno-apokryficznej, którą w 1958 r. odnalazł Karol Górski. Zarysowano podstawowe problemy badawcze, charakterystyczne dla każdej z wydzielonych grup glos: glosy informujące o dziejach kodeksu; glosy zawierające modlitwy; glosy lokalizujące, odsyłające do Pisma Świętego; glosy komentujące. W artykule zasygnalizowano także zagadnienie wymagające odrębnej analizy – obecność różnego rodzaju dopisków na miniaturach i obok nich.
    This paper presents the various types of marginal notes found in the Rozmyślania Dominikańskie - a medieval biblical and apocryphal narrative which was discovered by Karol Górski in 1958. The fundamental research issues specific to each group of marginal notes are presented - those concerning the history of the codex; those which contain prayers; those which refer to the Bible; and those which commentate. The article also indicates an issue requiring separate analysis - different types of annotations in and around the illustrations.
