The work contains the proposal to solution of one aspect of the marine power plant management problem with o, which is the allotment of operating tashs to operators in engine room. Frequent causes of ship detentions by port authorities are abnormalities of marine power plant functioning. Each extended ship lay time inport results in a was te of ship operating time thus costs rise to ship owners. This is connected with improper marine power plant management. In order to avoid this, a ship engineer should have at his disposal a computer aided system supporting him in managing the marine power plant. Such a system can be worked out on the condition that a mathematical model, which represents the decision - making proces s ofan engineer has been built. This workpresents approach to the problem ofone aspect in engine room managing what is operating task scheduling for the staff. The chief engineer is responsible for all engine room operating processes. He must make the plan for all activities to secure his correct operation. The use separately of several mathematical methods is not so effective, as then, when they are the put-upon in frames in coherent system and conduct as a consistent procedure. The main problem In this paper was create the mathematical model of system to assigning operational tasks in engine room, which would permitted to choice the optimum variant of tasks schedule.

Building of new hard coal mining always is a huge project, where we use lot of other companies, institutions, organizations, where cost is millions of zł and realizations is in very unfavorable environment for human. For realization that project we need a help in coordination of technology, bussines-finance environment or administration. That we create a system of managing project consisting of procedures, roles, procedures. A paper present example of that system, with was created for managing of project of building of new hard coal mining by one of the polish companies.
Budowa nowej kopalni zawsze jest dużym przedsięwzięciem angażującym wiele innych firm, organizacji oraz urzędów, kosztująca setki milionów złotych i realizowana w niesprzyjającym człowiekowi środowisku. Realizując takie przedsięwzięcie niezbędne jest koordynowanie działań obejmujących czynniki środowiskowe, technologię, otoczenie businessowo-finansowe czy administrację. W artykule zaprezentowane zostały zasady, jakie zostały przyjęte dla zarzadzania projektem budowy nowej kopalni, realizowanym przez jedną z krajowych firm.

Research background: Today's world is torn between extreme conservatism and duality, in opposition, trying to break the classical framework of freedom in the movement of people. In the context of complex global relations, this impulse, especially related to the travels for tourism purposes, raises new issues concerning the safety and security. The tourism industry has a priority for the economic development of many countries in the world and is a large source of export earnings and, at the same time, an important factor in the balance of payments of a significant part of the national economies in the world. The growing importance of the tourism industry, however, puts tourist destinations worldwide at the forefront of new challenges, one of which is terrorism. In this environment, new relationships are emerging and this reflects on the development strategies, as well as on the financial outcomes of tourism industry which are also largely affected. Purpose of the article: Respecting the new realities, the study explores the link between the risk of terrorism and the revenues from international tourism. Its main purpose is to investigate the impact of terrorism on the financial revenues from tourism in the European countries and the United States. The research is deter-mined by the perception that the financial flows from the international tourism are the quantitative manifestation of the hidden effects of the terrorism. Methods: The research method includes a regression cross-section analysis and Granger Causality test. The survey is panel and includes 37 countries from Europe tourism region and the United States from Americas' tourism region (according UNWTO) for the period 2012?2017. Findings & Value added: In conclusion, the effects of terrorism on the studied regions have been summarized, establishing dependence between terrorism and tourism, which illustrates a specific creative-destructive reflections of terrorism on tourism with regions particularities.

Managing customer relationship is a great challenge in the present era of service revolution. As large numbers of players are now entering into this industry, the intensity of competition is growing among them in very passing day. In the current cut throat competition, customers are becoming very particular to use or not to use services of any organization. Therefore, managing customer relationship is playing dominant role for in almost every service providing organizations, so banks are not an exception. There is a popular belief that higher the emotional intelligence of service provider better will be their ability to manage customer relationship. So the present study is the part of a large study conducted on 300 bank employees working in 5 different banks (both in public and private sector) in the state of Chhattisgarh to assess whether their demographic variables, emotional intelligence and ability to manage customer relationship are related with each other. Data were collected with the help of a schedule to measure emotional intelligence and ability to manage customer relationship and are analyzed with help of ANOVA and Correlations by using SPSS. The study reveals that there exist significant and strong relationship between emotional intelligence, demographic variables and ability to manage customer relationship. Thus, it is concluded that service providers in banks with their high level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage customer relationship can contribute significantly to attract and retain customers and build long term relationship with them.

W artykule zasugerowano metodę kompleksowego wprowadzania rozwiązań technicznych zmierzających do pełnego wykorzystania wody opadowej na terenie miasta.
The subject of the article is the problem of the managing of the rainwater in the city. There is the need of changing contemporary practice of treating the rainwater in the city. The city should manage of the rainwater consciously. It will bring not only the positive change of the water underground conditions but also can give the economical savings. In article was proposed the suggestion of the introducing technical solutions which the aim is complex using the rainwater in the city.

Construction objects arise during the implementation of construction projects. Participants in these projects are interested in taking systematic actions to improve the state of occupational safety and health protection. The effectiveness of these activities requires that they be carried out as part of a comprehensive system of managing the construction project implementation process. The safety management and health protection system is part of the overall project management system, which includes: organizational structure, planning, responsibility, rules of conduct, procedures, processes and resources and requires analysis of safety and health protection issues in its individual areas, phases and stages. This is primarily due to the fact that proper management is the most effective way to ensure an adequate level of safety and health protection (S&HP), desirable both due to the need to comply with legal provisions in force in construction, social expectations, and the possibility of obtaining positive economic effects by individual process participants in the scale of the entire construction project. The article proposes a theoretical model of the built undertaking that can be used to recognize the state of bioses. The model distinguishes parts, activities and areas in accordance with the logical course of the process, which was assigned to individual stages of the project. A research tool - RADAR S&HP - was developed to identify the factors affecting S&HP. To assess the condition of bioses, an analytical and mathematical model of the examined undertaking was formulated to ultimately determine the directions of preventive actions in the field of safety and health protection at individual stages, phases and areas of the construction project implementation process.

Zagospodarowanie złoża ropy i gazu B8, położonego w północno-wschodniej części Polskiej Strefy Ekonomicznej wymaga zastosowania kompleksowych badań morskich. Perspektywiczny obszar scharakteryzowano pod względem płytkiej budowy geologicznej, warunków hydrometeorologicznych oraz współczesnych czynników antropogenicznych. Wykonano badania i ekspertyzy dla: posadowienia platformy wiertniczej Petrobaltic, ułożenia podmorskiego ropociągu, łączącego platformę z boją przelewową, oraz dla zakotwiczenia samej boi przelewowo-cumowniczej typu CALM. Przedstawione zostały poszczególne metody badań polowych i ich wyniki. Badania obejmowały: wykonanie echosondażu batymetrycznego, stwierdzenie czystości dna na podstawie zdjęć sonarowych,profilowanie sejsmoakustyczne dwoma różnymi urządzeniami, wiercenie otworu geologiczno-inżynierskiego, pobieranie rdzeni wibrosondą VKG-6, określenie tła geochemicznego na podstawie pobranych prób osadów dennych, inspekcję przez pojazd podwodny wyposażony w kamery telewizyjne
Management of oil and gas field B8, located in the NE part of the Polish Economic Zone requires complex marine studies. The perspective area was characterized in view of its shallow geological build, hydrometeorological conditions and present day anthropogenic factors. Investigations and expertises were made for: suspension of a drilling platform Petrobaltic, deposition of the underwater pipeline linking the platform with an overflow buoy, and for anchoring of the overflow-moor buoy CALM. Specific methods of field investigation and their results are presented. The research concentrated on: batimetric depthfinding, establishing the purity of the sea bed on the basis ofsonar images, seismic logging with two different types of devices, drilling of a geological-engineering well, collecting of cores with a VKG-6, determination of geochemical background on the basis of collected sea bed sediments, inspections by underwater vehicles, equipped with TV cameras

There is a possibility of imposing sanctions on the subjects entitled to execute their share rights in the provisions of another act. Author claims that a statement described in the Article 3 Paragraph 1 of the Act is obligatory only for “a candidate” for the member of the managing body. It is also stated that, due to the provisions of the Act, the members of such body are only required to conclude a contract for the services of managing, what excludes contracts of employment. The provisions of the Act do not justify any kind of expiration of the already concluded contracts in case of lack of the resolution on salaries. Moreover, not-fulfilling a duty of concluding contracts for managing services does not have an impact on the validity of the contracts concluded before entry in to force of the Act. The Act does not impose expiration of the relations created by such contracts of employment.
