Opis:
Croatian Romanticism uses a multitude of Judeo-Christian motifs. Kranjčević’s Moses enters into a direct dialogue with God, who is not only a distant transcendental authority, but also a concrete being who responds to the people’s cries. When Moses indicates dissatisfaction with his people’s slavery, God reciprocates with both words and actions. The objective of this article is to look at thedialogues between man and God in the poem Moses in order to contribute to the research of the theme of communication between man and God in Croatian romantic poetry. The main subject of the poem is Moses, who is culturally more relevant for Judaism than for Christianity; his contribution in the Bible is connected to the struggle and active liberation from slavery. Unlike Christianity, Judaism affirms a revolutionary Messiah. In this poem, Moses is the prototype of a universal man in search of God, whereas communication is a prerequisite for solving individual and collective problems.

W artykule przedstawiono refleksje i przemyślenia współczesnego polskiego teologa, historyka sztuki i poety Janusza Stanisława Pasierba (1929–1993), poświęcone relacjom Bóg-człowiek. Rejestrowaną przez Pasierba na kartach swoich dzieł, zwłaszcza poetyckich, historię spotkań Boga z jednostką ludzką, odejść, powrotów, nawiedzeń, nagłych rewelacji i iście medytacyjnych skupień można postrzegać w kategoriach mistyki, eksponującej „przedzieranie się” człowieka ku światłu Bożej obecności. W myśli pelplińskiego kapłana intelektualisty człowiek, a także – przynajmniej w pewnym stopniu – świat, rzeczywistość zdają się być zakorzenione w doświadczeniu mistycznym, odkryte jako uświęcona przestrzeń potencjalnego kontaktu z transcendentnym Stwórcą.
The article presents some reflections and thoughts of a contemporary Polish theologian, art historian and poet Janusz Stanislaw Pasierb (1929–1993), concerning Man-God relationship. On the pages of his masterpieces, especially the poetic ones, the author registers the history of meetings between God and human beings; the history of leaving, coming back, visitations, sudden revelations, and indeed meditative concentration. It can be all perceived – and so it has been done – in the categories of mystique which features man’s „breaking through” into the light of God’s presence. In the view of the priest – intellectual from Pelplin, a man, as well as the world and the reality – at least in some degree – seem to be rooted in mystic experience, discovered as sanctifield space of a potential contact with transcendental Creator.

The subject of the article is the creation of God and His follower and the relationship between man and his Saviour emerging from the poems of Lubusz author Sigmunt Marek Piechocki. The subject of the research is the 2006 vol-ume, entitled My heresies. The texts are the a dialogue with the convention of such speaking of God, in which searching for Him is brought to the forefront. What seems particularly important is the author’s personal experience of re-demptive events. Or rather – experiencing, because it is a process, and the faith penetrating lines does not come automatically. The lyrical I seems to be a wan-derer, who is still on the road, a student going to the Emmaus in the company of God, an apostle. What is the role of the question in this pilgrimage? How can we understand the title of the volume? In this article I will try to consider these and similar issues.

In his First Letter to the Corinthians, Saint Clement of Rome offers a conception of God based on biblical texts, philosophical arguments (especially Greek), and juridical reasoning (especially based on Roman law). Taking into consideration the various terms that refer to God in the Prima Clementis, the author of this paper analyzes those that occur most frequently, including theos, kyrios, despotes and pater. He attempts to uncover the meaning of these terms in the Prima Clementis and in the preceding tradition, as well as the theological ideas that these terms were intended to express. In this way, the author aims not only to present the concept of God as elaborated by Clement, but also Clement’s cultural background which hitherto has remained in the dark. The word theos indicates God’s omnipotence, emphasizing his power to create and justify; as kyrios God brings order to the created world and establishes harmony among its various elements; despotes, Clement’s favourite term, describes God as the one who invites man to change his behaviour, the one who chooses him and justifies him with his grace; pater refers to the God of peace who encourages all believers to collaborate, especially the community at Corinth.

Православное богослужение – это не столько многообразные внешние формы, сколько глубочайшее богословское наследие, которое выражается через многообразные богослужебные эпистолярные формы, например, стихиры, тропари, кондаки и т.д. К сожалению, в настоящее время издаваемая литература, которую по своему содержанию можно отнести к литургике, мало касается экзегетики богослужебных текстов. Более всего на книжных полках семинарий и духовных академий мы увидим пособия по богослужебному уставу или практические руководства по совершению богослужений и треб для священнослужителей. В меньшей степени, но все же присутствует, литература переводческого характера, которая предлагает различные варианты перевода богослужения на современные языки. Но, если говорить о гимнографии и эортологии, то здесь мы встречаемся лишь с историей праздников и значением этих событий в деле нашего спасения. И, к огромному сожалению, практически отсутствует литература, которая раскрывает перед человеком всю красоту, богатство и глубину догматических истин и нравственных заповедей, которыми так богато наше богослужение. Настоящая статья – это попытка заполнить этот пробел и познакомить верующих с глубоким богословским смыслом и идейным содержанием воскресного догматика Великой вечерни 3–го гласа.
The Orthodox service has not only diverse external forms but also has the deepest theological heritage, which is expressed through liturgical epistolary forms, for example, stichera, troparia, kontakion, etc. Unfortunately, current published literature, which in its content can be attributed to liturgy, has little to do with the exegesis of liturgical textMost of them represent manuals on liturgical regulations or practical guidelines for the performance of divine services and the requirements for clergy. There are also some translations into modern languageBut as for hymnography and heortology, then here we meet only with the history of church holidays and the significance of these events in the matter of our salvation. And, to our great regret, there is practically no literary sources that reveal to a person all the beauty, richness and depth of dogmatic truths and moral commandments which our worship is so rich in. This paper attempts to fill this gap and acquaint readers with the deep theological meaning and ideological content of the Sunday Dogmatist of the Great Vespers of the 3rd Tone.
Nabożeństwo prawosławne to nie tyle różnorodność zewnętrznej formy, co głęboka spuścizna teologiczna, która wyrażana jest poprzez różnego rodzaju epistolarne, liturgiczne formy, jak np. stichery, tropariony, kondakiony itd. Niestety, współcześnie wydawana literatura, którą można przyporządkować do dziedziny liturgiki, w małym stopniu dotyka egzegezy tekstów nabożeństw. W większości na półkach seminariów i akademii teologicznych zobaczymy komentarze do liturgicznych reguł i praktyczne wskazówki do sprawowania nabożeństw dla kapłanów. Zdecydowanie w mniejszym stopniu występuje literatura o charakterze przekładowym, proponująca różne warianty tłumaczeń nabożeństw na języki nowożytne. Mówiąc o hymnografii i heortologii spotykamy się jedynie z historią świąt i znaczeniem tych wydarzeń w dziele zbawienia człowieka. Niestety praktycznie nieobecna jest literatura, która odkrywa przed nami piękno, bogactwo i głębię dogmatycznych prawd i moralnych przykazań, którymi tak bardzo nasycone jest nasze nabożeństwo. Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą wypełnienia tej luki i zaznajomienia wiernych z głębokim teologicznym sensem i ideową zawartością niedzielnego teotokotionu wielkiej wieczerni 3 tonu.

The article concerns the poetry of priest Jan Twardowski. This Catholic priest in his literary works focused on the problem of the relationship between God and man. The poet takes up difficult topics. He does not shy away from showing the issues of suffering, pain and the negative emotions associated with these feelings. Contrary to many religious artists, Twardowski does not show strong tensions in the relationship between God and man. It shows that you can also go through dramatic experiences without losing faith and trust in the Creator. His consistent work not only stands out from the background of Polish religious poetry, but also brings hope and optimism to the readers.

The need of the present times speaks for bringing the face of a merciful God once again. The concept of ”mercy” is often neglected today, and it even hinders modern man, who, through the previously unknown development of science and technology, more than ever in the human history, has subdued the earth and became its master. The awareness of man’s loneliness, his alienation from the community of the world, tradition and religion, and the conviction that he – man – is the creator of his own humanity, have become dominant. Life itself becomes the central value for him, not the immortality of life. The only content he has left are his whims and desires devoid of permanent and certain measures – doomed to variables determined by the condition and social situation – values. His existence was revealed to him in all its nakedness and fragility, arousing fear and concern with regard to loneliness, illness and death. And yet, through her life, Saint Faustine Kowalska showed unlimited trust in God’s mercy, thus opening herself to the action of grace, which allowed her to give her life the right purpose. This purpose of life is determined by faith, which for many followers of Christ became the foundation of their lives.

The author develops a threefold approach to the issue of time. First, tracing the Aristotelian and Thomistic understanding of time, he undertakes metaphysical considerations on time in its reference to man and God. Secondly, having de-termined the position of time in the world of real beings, he analyzes the notion of religious time developed by the Catholic Church on the basis of historical events whose heroes were people connected with the revealing God, in particu-lar with Jesus Christ. Thirdly, having identified the time of the Church, he re-constructs the specific way of experiencing time by a Christian. All these three approaches together give an integral perspective to man in time which – accord-ing to the author – may be best conceived as a human pathway to God.

In the works by John Amos Comenius (1592-1670), light often plays a key role in the interpretation of the text. This is related to the philosophy of the Baroque, according to which a person wanders through the metaphorical labyrinth of life and only later, passing through the darkness, can reach the truth. Light in Comenius' works is particularly important for cognition, to which John Amos Comenius devoted a large part of his work, both artistic and pedagogical. Fyodor Dostoyevsky (1821-1881) in his reflections on the nature of man and God also refers to the biblical interpretation according to which light is closely related to the presence of Christ. Man is faced with a choice between the light and the dark, he is lost in the choice, as if in a baroque world-maze and darkness.

Der Text Gen 1, 26-27 über den Menschen als „Bild Gottes” tritt ausser im Buch Genesis auch in anderen Texten des Alten Testaments auf (Sir 17, 1-4; Weish 2, 23; 7, 26). In der Fassung des Buches Genesis ist der Mensch das Bild Gottes durch seine Macht über die Welt der Schöpfung, welche ihm von Gott verliehen wurde. Die anderen Texte fügen hier den Gedanken hinzu, dass der Mensch das Bild Gottes durch seine geistige Ausstattung ist. Der Mensch ist gerade als geistiges, freies und verantwortliches Wesen das Bild Gottes. Aus der so begriffenen Idee des „Bildes Gottes” ergibt sich die ganze Würde der menschlichen Person, des einzigen Wesens, das Gott seiner selbst wegen gewollt hat.

The article presents interpretations of poems by Bolesław Leśmian, where a motif of the forest can be found. Initially, the forest in Leśmian's poetry appears as symbolism of spiritual states: melancholy, longing and sadness, which are the characteristic features of the Young Poland poetry, which was primarily patronized by Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. Then, in the poems from Orchard, he announces the project of a union of human and nature and a turn towards the original instinctuality, the implementation of which the next volume will bring.Aa essential text is the poem Green Hour. This is the mystery of the existential tragedy of the human who lives on the border between the worlds: nature, human civilization and God. Here we can see the unveiling of the idea of realistic symbolism, which involves the search for mediation between different entities. However, he does not come to it because of the fact that the protagonist of the described events is under the influence of principio individuationis. Only the resignation from this principle - which occurs in the poems of Oak and Desire, and in other works of The Meadow - shows the space of the forest as a place of reconciliation between beings. In the interpretation, it was noticed that Leśmian's cosmogonic concepts were inspired by the philosophical thought of Friedrich Nietzsche and Henri Bergson.

God reveals Himself to man in a variety of forms. The form that is most available and at the same time most needed by the Creation is His revelation in His careful protection of it. Theologians explain the source of such revelation with His love and His desire for good. Encountering the difficulty connected with reconciling the Divine Providence with the existence of evil in the world scholars explain that God respects the freedom of man, who may refrain from choosing good; and then God may allow the affliction of evil for didactic reasons – the experience of evil should incline the Creation to reject it and to choose good. God's kindness revealed to man makes man entrust himself to God and follow Him in His protective actions as well as publicly worship Him in the Church's liturgical prayer.

Feuerbach argued that God is not the creator of man, but man is the creator of God. It led him to the conclusion that the secret of theology is anthropology. According to Stirner, Feuerbach proposes, at most, formal reclassification of concepts, still being a religious thinker, because he deifies the species-understood Man. The article is devoted to Stirner’s criticism of Feuerbach and polemic with researchers who perceive Stirner as an amoralistic antihumanist.
